- The Red Neck Midge is a Fulling Mill fly pattern that works great as a midge on rivers or their bigger buggier brothers, known as Chironomids, on lakes and reservoirs. It's an easy tie.

awesome fly, and funny disclaimer at the beginning. lol dirty fingers are a youtube tiers worst enemy, currently have tar fingers, but am ready to tie up my next pattern 🤦🏻♂️

This should kill them in my local waters. Have sifted many of these out of the water and I would fish black (which worked well) but this pattern matches what I've seen much better - can't wait to try it.
Would you swap out the red flash for red UV thread?
