The best part of the whole install is the laser cut focal cut logos! You guys have slowly evolved over the time I have been watching you. God bless and stay safe
Dean, you guys are F'n amazing. 🤯 I live all the way in Vegas, the total opposite end of you. And I'm jealous that we don't have people out here as meticulous as you and Fernando. You guys are my car audio heroes. 🎶🔊🦸🏾♂️
I just put some 6.5" components in my doors of my 2010 grand caravan and after pulling the door panels off I was very impressed how there is thick beefie some type of plastic panel separating and significantly seals the inner from the outer vs the poly and double backed tape stretched over gaping holes method that must be detrimental to an extent to bass response. There was actually speaker gaskets on the OEM 6x9s too. It is a surprisingly decent design for base model factory Sound system performance. The rear OEM 6x9s actually are not that bad, they have pretty great lows and decent mids better bass than the decent 6.5" mid bass woofers and with a fairly small magnet they handle my amps 50w per channel somehow, but the speaker having a whizzer cone in middle the highs suck but with Money being tight I couldn't afford to replace them at moment so I just added a $10 set of power acoustik tweeters and they sound pretty decent no well to the point I am not in a rush to replace them now I'm pretty content. When money's tight you gotta innovate.
Take an easy job and make it harder!!! lol. Nice work boys but my god how many episodes does it take to install two door speakers? Must be big Ds f150- goin the extra 1000 miles.
@Aaron Redd Yup, that would definitely improve mid-bass performance, as well as block more road noise for sure. But I'm sure it would also add significant cost to the final bill.. And if you're not going to go Whole Hog and treat the rear doors as well, I'm not sure it makes quite as much difference in the overall scheme of things. But it would sure improve the mid-bass performance of those FLAX midwoofers and keep the actual door panel from vibrating/resonating as well! Night & Day difference. Surprisingly, it actually helps to keep the subwoofer(s) from making the door cavities into bass-robbing resonant chambers that kill dynamics and reduce clarity and impact!
@@ruccus51 It's fairly simple to use foam gasketing tape or butyl rope caulk around the perimeter of the opening and simply attach the panel to the door skin using short, self-tapping, flat & wide head sheet metal screws that are easily and quickly removable. But that's definitely going to add some cost to the install.
Damm I need some speaker logo for my f-150 but need to be the “Infinity” With the Logo One For Each Door How Much Would Is Cost Me. I’m running the Infinity Kappa Perfect 900 6x9 Component Sounds iIn The Front And Infinity Kappa 62.ix 6 1/2 They Sound Awesome
If I can send you guys the center speaker grill for my 2017 Ram 1500, could you guys replace the Alpine sound system logo with something else? Like a Audiofrog Logo?
Dean you there Hey guys I'm trying to find USB-C TO HDMI ADAPTER...Samsung says discontinue...I'm using an aftermarke Blackweb....like to get Samsung. This aftermarket one cuts out on my Kenwood ddx373bt...have S9 suggestion please. Thanks guys you help me on the past I bought from you kenwood amp, Rockford speakers I got from work fantastic. I use to have hook up to my S7 I had belkin dongle work perfect. Now the S9 I guess it not bluetooth for mirroring. Samsung site says the adapter I want is discontinue. Do you guys have one... Thanks
@harley196946 If your HDMI adapter doesn't have a separate charging / power input jack, look on eBay or Amazon for one that does. And use at least a 5v 2-amp USB charger to power it. A 3-amp charger would be better.
It does have a separate hdmi hook on my keyboard ddx373bt that model. Samsung type C to Hdmi discontinue. Dean is there another brand you reccomend the one I'm trying is junk.
You guys are like a 2 part epoxy. One without the other is useless.
Both combined are incredible.
Keep up the good work.
you guys really have turned this into and art

Anybody else notice Fernando sound damp the driver door twice, lol
Yup.

Those focal badges you made really put the cherry on top Dean! Great job on the baked potato Fernando!!!
I love the work and attention to detail that you all have. Thanks for sharing the little tips and tricks as they go a long way!

I feel the same way, I live in buffalo, NY, but good thing I'm a truck driver so 1200 miles isn't too far to drive for me.
Mr Fernando is the roadkill master! 🤘🤘🤘
I wish I had some Morel logos to put on my doors. Great job as usual fellas!
Nicholas Wagner I was thinking the exact same thing

That grill badge idea is such a lovely touch
I wish they made the little speaker grill badges with pins, I got some Focal ones for my car but they have crappy double sided tape on the back. :)
cool ideas man. is it slow for you guys as of late b/c of the stay at home deal?
Beautiful truck , and amazing work guys.
I was wondering when you were going to put the speaker logos on the grills like that. AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME!!!!!😎
You fo GREAT work!!! I wish you was in mid Michigan! I'd have to fo some work for me
Sleeves never thought of that. When I roadkilled my truck my arms got scrapped up. Like a cheese grader reaching in my doors
Brilliant stuff 👏
The ladies like the Fernando potato😁 .
Keep up the good work guys. Stay safe💞
Looking forward to part 5!!
Sick decals Dean!!!
Excellent work! What's an install like that cost?
Hi Dean,
Would you be willing to make some more of those Focal decals and sell them? I'm really interested in that same one you made. Thanks!
It’s back. Woohoo. Stay safe my friends. Next video.
Five Star: That'll be $10,000 please.
Which focal speaker sounds more alive? Flax Evo or the K2 series?
When you’re doing roadkill, will you guys do rear doors if there are no speakers in them ? For example if a car has rear speakers in the deck
My guess is that if the client wants to pay for it, they will do it.
Awesome, as usual!
Take an easy job and make it harder!!! lol. Nice work boys but my god how many episodes does it take to install two door speakers? Must be big Ds f150- goin the extra 1000 miles.
Love your work boys
That speaker mount looks great and all, but why not seal the big hole in the door?
Cant do that because what if the window motor has to get serviced?
ruccus51 they have made removable panels in the past to cover those big holes.
@@DjCBlaq maybe the customer doesn't want it so it would interfere with any work in the future

I wonder how much an installation like this costs..???
Can I buy your tweeter mounting Brackets? Would be much easier than me doing it myself.
How did yall run the speaker wires to the front doors?
Great work!!✌️✌️
What's the large OE module in the upper right of the door? @10:45
