Because we are unemployed after earning our bachelors & masters, gotta do something; me being a software engineer myself & putting up youtube videos on Advanced Engineering Mathematics along with my friends & ploughing & harvesting paddy fields on the other side. The Job Market has been kind to us lately, but jobs are still hard to passby, if u ask for a decent salary that is; better ploughing the fields & staying with my family I thought since Jobs requires moving to bigger cities. Its a usual story here, earn a degree & earn nothing with it, but things are slowly changing; maybe in 5 years I may get into developing again. Until then, gotta live with Maths (which has been useless to me till date) & paddy fields. Or like Vivek & many other Indians, moving out of the country is an option but I don't wanna look into that.

Speaking as an Indian, his analysis is absolutely correct. I was skeptical about his intentions in the beginning, but I got it cleared up - I'll share a story regarding that and it relates to Indian PM Modi's visit to US that he mentioned: Modi was on a state visit to US very recently, and he was being boycotted and petitioned by the democrats over "human rights abuses" within India. Vivek openly spoke against that on twitter and said he would attend Modi's address to the congress. This puzzled me. To anyone who is aware of politics related to India in the west knows that global leftist cabal being vehemently anti-India, there is no incentive to speak in India/Modi's favor(infact every incentive to speak against), which is why Indian-origin politicians in the west are usually speaking against India. Its only politically inconvenient for Vivek to have done this. Then I came across Vivek's stance on the Ukraine/Russia war and his goal of decoupling Russia/China, and things became more clear. Another thing that people aware with Indian politics would know is that politically savvy Indians within India do not have very high opinions of the west currently in the geopolitical context, as they see them as a preachy arrogant bully who hypocritically call out "human rights abuses" by India half of which are made up, which completely ignoring actual egregious human rights abuses against hindus in the subcontinent. Constantly speak against Indian interests for no good reason. A much lighter version of how they have been treating Russia. His posture regarding Modi and India seem to serve this specific purpose only. Stop intimidating India, stop making enemies where there needs to be none, and focus on actual issues. Though, most Americans/westerners wouldn't even realize this, them not being aware of the full context and politics behind it.

Politics is 22 times more difficult in India than in the US. The first problem being we have 22 major spoken languages. And Hindi is not a uniting language as many people assume. It will take several years, not months to rise up as this guy could in the USA.

Im a South African of Indian descent and I became aware of this thumbi (Tamil, for younger brother) about 8 months ago. He continues to impress me. I think his clear headed thinking and understanding of world politics and passion for America is what the world needs. However as I've said in previous comments, I think his age could be to his disadvantage on the world platform as leader of the USA. Many would not agree, but the world needs the unpredictable, brash Trump to keep Putin, Xi and the North Korean dictator in check. Vivek should be Trumps VP in 2024 and then thereafter president for the next 2 terms. But as VP, his role should be that of a CEO and Trump as chairman ... To make the USA great again.

There is something that concerns me here. My country (US) is very good at saying the right thing. We almost always SAY the right things. We just don't always do them. The real problem is people never put their money where their mouth is. If Im any other country in the world, I will probably take my chances with someone I don't like but can trust their word... I don't think India will be so eager to just jump in and do something like that. I would be very skeptical of dealing with anyone from here at this point if I am any of these other countries. So I think this sounds great, but I am skeptical of how much a reality it has a chance at being.

Because we are unemployed after earning our bachelors & masters, gotta do something; me being a software engineer myself & putting up youtube videos on Advanced Engineering Mathematics along with my friends & ploughing & harvesting paddy fields on the other side. The Job Market has been kind to us lately, but jobs are still hard to passby, if u ask for a decent salary that is; better ploughing the fields & staying with my family I thought since Jobs requires moving to bigger cities.
Its a usual story here, earn a degree & earn nothing with it, but things are slowly changing; maybe in 5 years I may get into developing again.

Speaking as an Indian, his analysis is absolutely correct. I was skeptical about his intentions in the beginning, but I got it cleared up - I'll share a story regarding that and it relates to Indian PM Modi's visit to US that he mentioned:
Modi was on a state visit to US very recently, and he was being boycotted and petitioned by the democrats over "human rights abuses" within India. Vivek openly spoke against that on twitter and said he would attend Modi's address to the congress. This puzzled me. To anyone who is aware of politics related to India in the west knows that global leftist cabal being vehemently anti-India, there is no incentive to speak in India/Modi's favor(infact every incentive to speak against), which is why Indian-origin politicians in the west are usually speaking against India. Its only politically inconvenient for Vivek to have done this.
Then I came across Vivek's stance on the Ukraine/Russia war and his goal of decoupling Russia/China, and things became more clear. Another thing that people aware with Indian politics would know is that politically savvy Indians within India do not have very high opinions of the west currently in the geopolitical context, as they see them as a preachy arrogant bully who hypocritically call out "human rights abuses" by India half of which are made up, which completely ignoring actual egregious human rights abuses against hindus in the subcontinent. Constantly speak against Indian interests for no good reason. A much lighter version of how they have been treating Russia.
His posture regarding Modi and India seem to serve this specific purpose only. Stop intimidating India, stop making enemies where there needs to be none, and focus on actual issues. Though, most Americans/westerners wouldn't even realize this, them not being aware of the full context and politics behind it.

I think his clear headed thinking and understanding of world politics and passion for America is what the world needs. However as I've said in previous comments, I think his age could be to his disadvantage on the world platform as leader of the USA. Many would not agree, but the world needs the unpredictable, brash Trump to keep Putin, Xi and the North Korean dictator in check. Vivek should be Trumps VP in 2024 and then thereafter president for the next 2 terms. But as VP, his role should be that of a CEO and Trump as chairman ... To make the USA great again.

There is something that concerns me here. My country (US) is very good at saying the right thing. We almost always SAY the right things. We just don't always do them. The real problem is people never put their money where their mouth is. If Im any other country in the world, I will probably take my chances with someone I don't like but can trust their word... I don't think India will be so eager to just jump in and do something like that. I would be very skeptical of dealing with anyone from here at this point if I am any of these other countries. So I think this sounds great, but I am skeptical of how much a reality it has a chance at being.
