Great review, appreciate the honesty. I’m guessing for my salty peppery wiry hair this may not be a good choice.

I love the way your hair turned out it's very pretty. Your review was very thorough and covered all of the questions I had. My hair is thin so I'm wondering how it will do with the cream alone the gel I'm afraid to try because I don't like that sticky tacky feeling either and another reviewer said the same as you. It looks really good, but if there is no hold then it won't last. I love your reviews because you are very fair. You review with such grace and class......but I can tell by your facial expressions when you don't like something 😁. I've learned from trial and error with these youtuber and mom and pop brands to look at the owners hair and see if they have hair like mine, because they did DIYs at first and then turned the DIYs into a commercial brand. With my hair being as thick, coily, coarse, and dense as it is.......I knew curl daze wasnt for me. It works on the owners hair very well but I don't have the same texture of hair as her. Great review!
Thanks Tiffany! Yea, people always say that my face "tells it all." I try to give reviews that will help everyone, even people with a different texture so that is why I go into such detail and say that even though it isn't my favorite, it may work for them if their texture is looser or they like the sticky feel, etc. But I'm with you, I can most times tell if a product is going to work for me or not. Looking from this side of the lens’s it looks great. However I understand when you are actually touching and feeling you’ll notice a difference . I have extremely course hair and I will still give the products a try. Thanks for the review.

Great review. just tried the leave in and gel. I felt my hair was a little puffier also and there is a coating. It reminds me of The Mane Choice gels which also contain glycerin.They work but I prefer a flax seed gel or the soufflé type gels for my fine strands. Like you said everyone is different. I’m just glad to support her products and your channel

I’m using this for the for time and my hair was not shiny and it was more puffy than I prefer for the first day. It was also sticky. I liked that it was soft, though. It probably works better for loser textures?

The sticky coating you feel is the glycerin. I DIY a good amount and I have glycerin that I add to my DIY pre-poos and pure glycerin is very sticky.

Try the gel with a glycerin free LI. I used Camille Rose Coconut water LI with Sarenzo Creamy oil to seal it. My hair was super shiny with a crunchy hold with super definition. No sticky poofy hair!!!! Too much glycerine pulls moisture into your hair leaving it sticky & undefined.
