It was so nice meeting you and Brian, Deni! I was so Star struck. 😱 I still can’t believe it and have to pinch myself! lol You’re the absolute sweetest and most beautiful. ❤️ you made my Disney trip! Wishing you infinite success.
You are so kind, Jessica! I loved getting to meet you and your family, and I’m so glad that you said hello! I hope that the rest of your trip was wonderful ❤
My daughter and I stayed at the AOA in a Little Mermaid room a few years back when they were still doing the 24 hour parties at MK.. We really loved it. The resort is adorable, but at that time is was all buses and you are correct about mornings...It was so packed trying to get a bus to the parks. If we do stay value now , we choose POP and I love the Sky liner!!! Great review....Thank you
Unfortunately, we stayed at AOA in the Little Mermaid room during the pandemic. We were very disappointed in the room. It was outdated, and room service was non-existent. The food court was limited service. I think the rooms at All-Star Movies and Music are better because they are what you expect for the price. Thanks for the tour, and I always enjoy you and your content .
I went here to get an Art of Animation mug a few months after it opened because it was so colorful and the guard almost didn’t let me in. I told him I was only going to get the mug and maybe something to eat. It was very cute to see. Like your review. Second time I went with my daughter on the skyliner. Love riding that thing.
The Skyliner is my favorite form of Disney transportation right now, I think. Which means it's currently ranked higher than the monorail, which is HUGE. ❤
That room. Ouch! Pop Century has MUCH nicer rooms and bathrooms. I wish you'd give Dollywood and the HeartSong Lodge a try. And if you did, you could even leave your rose-colored glasses at home! 😉
I appreciate your warning about Skyliner after fireworks. We stayed at Pop over Spring Break and my wife and I had an ECV. We got caught at end of EPCOT fireworks and the end of the International gateway skyliner line. There were probably only 30-40 in the ECV line, but the entire walking skyliner line (very long line) was cleared out before they put ECV guests on the skyliner. We were the last two on the skyliner. Needless to say, a very late night for us. We managed it o.k., but many ECV guests in front of us were very unhappy.
We just stayed at this hotel in the cars suite with my husband and two older kids. It was great. The buses were even quick and the room was huge with two sections and two bathrooms. The food court was very busy, but the food choices offered a good variation.
Great review, thank you! I am curious about your thoughts on the distance from the Little Mermaid rooms to Animation Hall? I hear people say it's a very long walk but it didn't seem that way in your video.
Thanks for the GREAT question, Laura! I answered it in last week's Question and Answers video. :) It's a 7-10 minute walk, depending on how fast you're walking. ❤️
I stayed at Art last November in the Little Mermaid area. I got Ariel. Love art because I love Lion King. Loved everything about it. I got the exact meal that Deni got the garlic shrimp and the rainbow carrots. Loved it. And I did love being on the skyliner line and I never found the lines in the morning to be that bad or at night for that matter. The resort is huge however and Little Mermaid is so far away from everything so be prepared to walk. Also stayed at Pop numerous times and loved it as well.
Oh my goodness! This looks like it was so much fun! I bet little kids would REALLY get a big kick out of the decor. It's sad the paint was chipping and looked a little beat up. They used to have the BEST food court. Thanks for sharing your stay with us, Deni! Your videos are always such a highlight of the week!
Okay, I enjoyed the skyliner journey vicariously through you and the cookie and I was thinking about the clock and wondering if young people know how to tell time using analog method, my mind wandered on that. But the AOA I wasn't jumping at as a person over fifty without young kids. I've visited recently outside walking around but I would probably pass on a stay there unless I had little ones. I look forward to seeing where you go next!
I really enjoy your Disney content! I been watching when did you did restaurant reviews with Dis Boards. Hubby and I are staying the Carribean beach in June, just us! It's been 19 years, since we went to WDW without any kids!

The access to the Skyliner really changes things, doesn't it? Thanks so much for watching, Michelle! ❤

I wish they would bring back the pre covid food! That salad station was great. The best chicken Caesar salad!
I agree! That salad station was awesome and I loved the build your own yogurt parfaits at breakfast 😢

I’ve gone to Disney world 5 times and stayed at POP century 4 times. Love it.
