At 15:49. He deliberately waited until she got drugged before he interfered. I'm my view that's as big of a scumbag as the other guy. He was even more calculated. The other guy would be the one going to jail for drugging not him. He's the jackal that steals the prey others have captured. Only he is disguising himself as a savior. Gross.
Ending was a bit abrupt but the rest of it was awesome. 😂 Ml is determined to get his girl, either by tricking her into marrying him or playing a green tea to get her sympathy and protection from her. Ml is adorable but he definitely isn't someone I would want to go up against. Fl is a strong character as well. No push over. Ml barely ever needed to help her his biggest worry came from all the men who kept popping up around her. Sml never really learned his lesson even though both fl and ml tried to show him how it was like for fl to be mistreated by him by her sending a illigetimate child his way or by ml giving sml a taste of what it's like having a green tea mess with you.
Others were asking why the bandages in these dramas were so bad but to me they are over looking the way more obvious clues that he's not really sick. There's no way a guy with a physical issue like a broken arm would be able to get into a pull over hoodie. They'd have to cut that thing off of him to get it off without him dying of pain.
This was cute, there were things I liked better in this version and things I liked less. Spoilers: So I liked that the FL was more on guard than usual, did some investigation although for as often as her spidey sense was tingling that something wasn't right she did a lot of ignoring after investigation even when something felt off. This kind of made for a little too much suspicion for the relationship for me. Not that she didn't have cause but it just felt off to have so much for the drama storyline. This version felt a lot more unfinished than others I have seen. Endings for plot lines either ended too quickly or just disappeared and the end with them reconciled didn't even include his confession of when he fell for her. I liked that there was an illegitimate brother for the SML (ex) so FL could throw those things back in his face. He was much worse as a person than most I have seen and that is probably saying something so this added to any revenge pretty well. Although the brother taking over as heir arc or his revenge for his maternal family was some of what felt unfinished. The SML supposedly thought the SFL was his savior as a kid and gave her savior leeway because of this, although she was a fake, she was never revealed as the fake. I liked that the FL used her "senior brother's" designs for the plagiarism arc versus her own. It felt like a better case of full on stolen work/plagiarism as the FL works for the company and while SFL was claiming credit the designs in other versions were originally made for the company versus a third party being involved. It felt like a stronger lawsuit angle. Also her identity and Fila was revealed much sooner this way. There is a bit where the lawyer helping the FL takes a meeting with the father then the lawsuit fell through until the ML stepped in. This also felt off as the FL had been paying for his grandma's medical bills above and beyond because she was paying for the woman twice. Once as lawyer's grandma and once as the ML's fake grandma. Also he knew she was seeking revenge and no reason was shown why he would help the father although any involvement he may have had in blocking the lawsuit was glossed over which just felt weird. I also didn't like the way the bribe of the Jiang heiress was handled in this drama. Other versions it seemed better executed.
He is really a green tea, he even intentionally got himself stabbed few times just to gain her pity. In rl, he could be very dangerous and do many extreme things, their relationship maybe lead to a toxic way.

I like Zhong Zheng, but the other version with Meng Na & Liang Siwei is better. I feel like Siwei portrayed his character better. The character has more depth and appeal. I feel like ZZ's acting here is lacking. Also, I don't like how the plot goes here. A lot of yapping and bickering. But, I like the FL! Haha. She gave the ex bf a taste of his own medicine.😆

So this drama makes the most sense as a comparison to another version; that is, Ming Na's version. Which is, in my opinion, just objectively better. It's more INTENSE. The ML is more PRESENT in the FL's shenanigans, and it doesn't need to make use of tired tropes like jealous rivalry and the knife of forgiveness. It just let's the cunning of the two leads propel them towards each other. In THIS version, the ML def has a better green tea game, for sure. But he seems less mature and lacks smoking hot sex appeal. So more realistic for a 20yr old, but who wanted realism? 😂 Anyway, it's almost 40 mins longer for absolutely no reason. 🤷🏽♀️

This was cute, there were things I liked better in this version and things I liked less.
