My fight went something like this. - Took away about 1/4 of Exnine's hp using physical attacks - Exnine starts charging MF. Cannon - I heal everyone until they have full hp and ap - I Summon Behemonster - MF. Cannon hits - Exnine inflicts confusion on me - Behemonster goes into Meteor Counterstance - Exnine starts using magical attacks - Behemonster counters with Meteor every time Exnine attacks, dealing about 1,700 dmg x 4 (Or however many times it hits the enemy) - After about 2 or 3 turns of this, Exnine knocks Behemonster out of confusion - I use Revenge Blast and it does over 15,000 dmg to Exnine - RIP Exnine

There could be an Odin in the Exnine Knights. Brandelis used to be one of the strongest bahamuts and knew the bahamut that is in the game. He later became the exnine knight in this video. A similar thing could/can happen with any of the other summons since they do have homeworlds. And yeah, by the end of the game none of the exnine knights were actually killed so it'll be interesting to see how Lann and Reynn deal with them in the next game since it took basically everything to stop them here (assuming they are still the leads). It's important to note that Pellinore and Segwarides have final forms just like Brandelis and the only reason why he took the leader role in Grymoire was because he had access to most/all of his powers unlike them. It's not that he's above the other two in rank.
IIUBCROSS after you beat Brandelis and Lann is frozen in a cube, then it should play some short credits and take you to the title screen. Then you press any button and Reynn says "No!" and you continue towards the true ending.

In an interview, Vaan and Panelo were the last minute additions. They realized they lack the "young and spunky idealistic teenager tropes" and added them poorly. While Panelo is infinitely more interesting than Vaan. They are not well liked at all. FF12 would have been better had the game stuck with less machines and made more of a central focus of character classes that Ivalice had such huge importance on.
The only characters I felt were really bad were Vaan and Penelo, mostly because they stopped having any relevance to the plot after the first few hours

I had gotten lucky and barely survived dark revels status effects and his megaflare cannon so I used my king tonberry's everyone's grudge and it did 20,000 damage and won me the battle! That dark revels move is so damn annoying!
the not so obvious strategy is that during its countdown, it has -200 resistance to all elements except one. So casting -ja level spells easily does over 10,000K each, which I think is better than using items
The part when Exnine Bahamut puts confuse, olbivion, pretty much everything on Lann and Reynn is such bullshit. I almost got him until he used it on me makes me furious af. Now I have to fight Segwaride, knight, knight again, bahamut, and then final form the second time again. This is fucking dumb

I've played this game for total 100 gameplay time. Entered nightmare mode, but still can't defeat powered up brandelis (2nd time brandelis fight via gateway at Plaza 99)
my only problem is with this game and my theory was this was that this took place within the dissidia realm or atleast a differint version of it created by enna kros in which chaos could'nt control everybody had there memorys wiped and were turned to chibi's hence why they were not at there full power another thing i theorized was that they took every world and merged them together by enna kros`s doing but thats a wild theory all together

Brandelis and exnine bahamut are really easy boss. Just keep spamming skill banishra, keep your party health more than 4000 to keep party safe. Don't be stingy using all useful items like elixir, mega elixir, x potion, mega potion, turbo ether, etc, because this is the last boss to get alternative / good ending, unless you want to continue playing the game after ending. The only attack that you need to worry is exnine bahamut skill that can cause confuse to party, because It can make your party attack your party itself. There is a boss that more harder to defeat(in my opinion), its omega god from intervention quest. I know easy trick is using behemoth revenge skill, but I try to use banishra because its omega god weakness. Omega god has really painful skill(atomic impact) that can instantly kill my reynn at full hp(more than 8000HP) and my lann hp only left 1300HP(from 8500HP). It tooks long time for me to defeat omega god, but its really fun battle.
This is the true ending of the game. The "first" ending isn't the real one. You have to beat the game a second time, some stuff happens then you have to collect some things to actually get this ending.
You know what's funny to the point you want to die? I still haven't beaten the final boss. Yet I beat Omega god first try and all my attacks on him did 20 damage to him unless I used a hero medal.
How is that a shoe horn? She's a FF character as well. I could argue that why is Celes here? She's from a FF game that most people now weren't alive when it came out.
There's no reason why those of you who were born long after FFVI's release couldn't go back and play it. It's certainly worth it. Also, some of us older FF fans still play Final Fantasy games in our free time and would like to see characters from the games we remember.
I'd buy it if it wouldnt be a chibi game :/ Im a huge final fantasy fan and kinda like the pokemon-like idea of capturing and raise monsters, but i cant stand these overly forced "cute" looking characters

You should listen to the soundtrack. I'm not sure why you think the music sucks when a lot of it included remixed versions of music used in other Final Fantasies.
Because those are really bad remixes. Do you want a good example of what a remix should be? Search "The Black Mages", or "FF melancholy tribute". A TRIBUTE, what this game was intended to be and did it totally wrong. The man behind this game's music is the same in FFXIII, and his music have nothing to do with Uematsu or Shimomura's soundtracks. It's simple: They are not at the same level.

Brandelis and exnine bahamut are really easy boss. Just keep spamming skill banishra, keep your party health more than 4000 to keep party safe. Don't be stingy using all useful items like elixir, mega elixir, x potion, mega potion, turbo ether, etc, because this is the last boss to get alternative / good ending, unless you want to continue playing the game after ending. The only attack that you need to worry is exnine bahamut skill that can cause confuse to party, because It can make your party attack your party itself. There is a boss that more harder to defeat(in my opinion), its omega god from intervention quest. I know easy trick is using behemoth revenge skill, but I try to use banishra because its omega god weakness. Omega god has really painful skill(atomic impact) that can instantly kill my reynn at full hp(more than 8000HP) and my lann hp only left 1300HP(from 8500HP). It tooks long time for me to defeat omega god, but its really fun battle.
So this ending with tama is the true ending, but what do you get if you end the game without her? :/

This is the true ending of the game. The "first" ending isn't the real one. You have to beat the game a second time, some stuff happens then you have to collect some things to actually get this ending.
And when I say beat it the second time, not the whole game. Like the last chapter before the boss battle.

You know what's funny to the point you want to die? I still haven't beaten the final boss. Yet I beat Omega god first try and all my attacks on him did 20 damage to him unless I used a hero medal.

How is that a shoe horn? She's a FF character as well. I could argue that why is Celes here? She's from a FF game that most people now weren't alive when it came out.
There's no reason why those of you who were born long after FFVI's release couldn't go back and play it. It's certainly worth it. Also, some of us older FF fans still play Final Fantasy games in our free time and would like to see characters from the games we remember.

You should listen to the soundtrack. I'm not sure why you think the music sucks when a lot of it included remixed versions of music used in other Final Fantasies.
Because those are really bad remixes. Do you want a good example of what a remix should be? Search "The Black Mages", or "FF melancholy tribute". A TRIBUTE, what this game was intended to be and did it totally wrong.
The man behind this game's music is the same in FFXIII, and his music have nothing to do with Uematsu or Shimomura's soundtracks. It's simple: They are not at the same level.
