Really cool to see some of your process. Although I don’t produce myself anymore, I definitely appreciate how willing you are to help other artists out. Recently discovered your music and I’ve been in love with it, you’re definitely in my top few current dnb producers. Keep killing it man I’ll be following closely!
hey there, thanks so much for the kind words... truly :) really glad you enjoy the tunes, I'll keep makin' em. i really enjoy sharing any knowledge and inspiration i can.
Just re downloaded renoise and going to learn the tracker again with this project. Thanks so much for inspiring me to get back on the tracker bandwagon! Also you're ambient jungle is amazing, really digging your track on jungle fatigue vol. 1
Great vibe here. I'll have to come back here to check your tips, but hearing these sounds just makes me wanna spool up some gear, so mission accomplished I guess lol
Would love a techstep tutorial. Renoise is very versatile, but some of it is a little esoteric to get right. All the old techniques died with these niche genres :(
Thank you Arcologies for sharing this info. This is amazing. Being a beginner producer I have experienced how difficult it is to find good reference for arranging and production techniques. Relevant knowledge almost seemed to have disappeared, or being kept mystical? This walkthrough is super important to have for people who are interested in this genre. Sure, you want to develop your own style, but a good reference starting point is very important.
thanks for checking out the tutorial! yah, committing to sounds is one of my favorite workflow tips; endless options and endless tweaking kills my flow after awhile... commit, move on, and be done with it :)
heya! i've done a few shorter one-on-ones, it really just depends what people are wanting to learn. other folks hit me up and ask if i can show them how to do something with hardware or the tracker, and if i have time i'm always willing to help! thanks so much for checking out the video, truly glad you enjoyed it.
Yah for sure! Both Ableton and cubase are excellent DAWs, I know a lot of producers who use those DAWs for jungle and dnb 😅 thanks for checking out the video.
have a 10hr flight tomorrow and planning to do some of the Renoise tutorials to see if i can figure some things out. also grabbed a number of your project files in case i just want to watch the info scroll by as i listen to the music. 😄
It won’t load at all? It should load and just tell you they are missing. If you don’t have the VSTs, it’s not a huge deal, most of the sounds are samples and if you don’t have zebra2 or spire, you can just swap them with some other synths and you’ll still get the same chords and stuff :)
@@arcologies strangely this one won't load at all. Previous ones have loaded with missing Costs and had standard sounds. After this one complains about missing VSTs the tracker area is blank. I'll try again
@@arcologies download again and tried again and success. the problem was me. the start of the song was quiet and i did not listen well, plus in this file the tracker view is scrolled to the right on load (on my narrow 1200px wide portrait monitor) so the notes that were playing were off screen! Thanks for following up.
Oh hell yes. Thank you for giving so much knowledge back to the community.
quality content honestly people pay for this stuff
thanks for checking out the video and for the kind words :)
Don't use renoise but this is helpful. Thanks for sharing for us young in the 90s
Thanks for taking the time to make this!
A beautiful composition, and the explanation was both informative and inspirational. Thanks for keeping this sound alive and sharing your knowledge!
thanks so much for checking it out :) truly glad you enjoyed it!
really instructive, thanks !!

always enjoy watching your vids and getting a look at how you build tracks! Out of curiosity, do you do any music teaching/lessons?

Another great video nice track thanks for sharing your knowledge ❤top man 🫡
@@AD-qe7jv no problem my friend, thanks so much for checking it out!
would you use ableton, cubase with amigo samples for a jungle track? Nice long sets you have here

@@arcologies I "quick mastered" your sets for listening while I am driving, they shine.

I downloaded the Renoise demo to try, and your song won't load because of unavailable VST plugins. :/

@@mattsephton when I get home I’ll save a copy without any third party vsts and post that too
@@mattsephton did you get this sorted?
