The time when McLaren was participating F1 Championship
Автобарыга pls stop 😢
Автобарыга IMO the last 2 GPs were pretty good for mclaren.. I mean, quite good in qualify and the engine didn't break during the race..
before honda
Who wins: last year's 2016 McLaren-Honda with Alonso behind the wheel or a 2007 Super Aguri-Honda with Sato?
Chase Brown Last year's McLaren, of course.
The best race in the modern era absolutely worth the long wait after red flag.
Brazil 2012 better
It made the race
ESR Finch Valencia 2012 its epic
Lucas Barbero Sánchez good race but nothing compared to this imo
Modern era is 2017 - xxx, every era is new regulations like from 2006 to 2008 with the V8 Engines and good lookin' cars and 2009 - 2013 with the new aero regulations and 2014 - 2016 with the V6 engines and now 2017 - xxxx with the wider cars again.
This was a pretty messy Comment but i still hope you got the idea of what i mean
That overtake on Webber took balls the size of Saturn. On slicks, flooring it on a wet surface, great stuff
Hahahahahahahaha 🤣🤣
So miss Jenson. One of the most underrated world champs ever. What a drive.
Finest hour of Schumachers second career.
Double overtake on Kobayashi, Massa also showed he still had the dogfight skills from his first career.
If it kept raining Schumi definitely would have been on the podium or perhaps have even won it :(
Same for Valencia 2012 and Monaco 2010
@@the9der352 don't forget china 2012 mate. If not because of pit stop error, he definitely gonna finish in podium and probably 92 wins
When a team using Mercedes' engine was faster than Mercedes itself.
cries in Renault losing to first Red Bull and then McLaren (recovering from Honda and having correlation issues) of all things in their time together
@@MDE_never_dies early 2012 vibes
Aston Martin: Allow us to introduce ourselves
Aston 2023 says hi
The greatest F1 race of all time. Undoubtedly this race can make anyone fall in love with Formula 1.
back then mclaren was on top
true XD
GURken red bull was on top here
Benger619 oh it is a Vettel fan right here.
What he meant was when they were fighting for the championship
except that they really werent in 2011, Red Bull absolutely dominated that year...the only years after 2008 that they were somewhat there in the fight were in 2010 and 2012, but not really in 2011.
Yep, nobody came close to Vettel that year. That win gave Jenson a glimmer of hope, but he then only got 8 points from the next three races and blew any chance he might've had.
One of the greatest races ever! Hope everyone has a great day :)
The best race of 2010's and the most incredible comeback that i've ever seen
You forgot to mention that Jenson put inters on at that last pit stop giving him the speed advantage on the dry racing line. It was very risky, but Jenson is at his element in wet weather.
when mclaren still use that great mercedes engine instead of the v-tec that sometimes kicked in Yo
When the v-tec kicks in
"Warning: Danger to manifold"
*Sparks and flames go out the back*
Alonso: "Dude, I almost had you man"
Vettel/Hamilton: "You never had me, you never even had your car"
Fernando whips out a lawn chair and sulks with a tuna sandwich
when mclaren didn't use a bomb waiting to blow up as an engine.
+Jason W. Morningwood before going to Indy and having another Honda engine blow up while in contention for the win
Jason W. Morningwood HAHAHAHA I see what you did there
Alonso was granny shifting not double clutching like he should
He's lucky that 100 shot of NOS didn't blow the welds on the intake
"best chassis"
I was sitting in turn 6/7!! I'll never forget this race and I would gladly wait, get sick again, and do it all over in a heartbeat..... 6 years ago, jeez time flies 😳
Really? Wow that must have been a long wet day.
Over 11 now...
i think the true hero of this race was Schumacher, because he showed everyone again, he's the Rainmeister
Ralf Stanzel But later in dry he could not prevent Webber and Button overtake.
Muddassir Habib it's true, but you have to keep in mind, Mercedes first car, which could challenge red Bull, Ferrari vor McLaren was in the year of 2012(sadly)
2013 to be precise in 2012 it was only good in China because of double DRS and Michaels brilliance in Monaco.
Muddassir Habib i think overall it was 2013, but it showed it's potential in 2012, that's why i was impressed by Schumacher.
I also understand your point.
True
This is why Jenson is a legend!
I was so happy when Jenson managed to pass Vettel on the final lap. A joy to watch.
Me too
No
@@fettaheker Vettel fan spotted
Did he have massive understeer this race?
Maaaaaassssssiiiiiiivvvvveeeee understeer!
Jenson Button, the master of gladiatorial racing.
Do you think Liberty Media especially wanted to highlight this race considering his tangle with Pascal? Hahaha savage.
The real master of gladiatorial racing is, of course, Pastor Maldonado. Remember how he flipped Gutierrez in Bahrain or that time he took out two Force Indias in one corner at Spa? He could keep going afterwards, the mark of a true master.
Button is a well-rounded driver. Probably one of the best if not the best driver on slicks in damp conditons.
The best race of all time in my opinion!
The sidepods on the 2011 McLaren were so nice.
ksells random....
but true
so true
DeployTheDRS - not really, the 2011 car is widely recognised as a great looking car and this video shows it off.
ksells the whole car looks great
The most hideous side pod ever imo
As a Vettel fan, I hated that final lap six years ago. I can laugh about it now and see how exciting it all was. :)
Vincent Bruins Do you like JB... Tbh I was bloody cheering and about to get high on the fact that JB was gonna win
Vincent Bruins yes the same for me. Vettel makes very few mistakes especially when he leads a race. Now I can laugh about it. Also because he could win the next Kanada GP
Same with me in 2008 Spa as Kimi fan....
Balnazzardi dont remind that shit man :( it would be 5 races in a row on Spa for Kimi but he fucked up in last laps also Hamilton did nasty moves
Vincent Bruins
I love seeing this.. every year.
What a win
One of the very best Schumi races after his comeback! :)
this is the best and most memorable race of jenson button for me
2010,2011,2012 have cars that just bring me eternal nostalgia
Who else had F1 2011 on the 3ds?
One of the Best Races in 20 Years. Never it will not be forgotten, Great Job Jenson.
Here's why Vettel is so good. He knew that Jenson was gonna crash into him like he did with Alonso and Hamilton. So he let him pass
haha lol ... you know that Vettel was leading, right?... :D
Better 2nd than DNF you know :D
He probably looked in his mirror and got out of the line just so slightly and slicks on wet = no no.
Hahaha good one
Whajurgbo hahaha unfortunately that wasn't the case
Raikkonen in Suzuka 2005 and Button in Monteal 2011 are the finest memories that keep me supporting McLaren even through the most troubling times like now.
Button's Career in One race!
Thumbs up If you want a race like this in 2017!
Riccardo Pollifroni I guess I am the only one
Riccardo Pollifroni of course, a McLaren for the win and Hamilton out of the race ;)
Riccardo Pollifroni Good news for ya/us. It's going to race on Sunday :D
How to win (Jenson edition): Take all your competitors out!
like a mustang
Alonso was not a big win contender, a bit slower than Massa and struggling. And it was Hamilton who hit Button, which made in turn into the wall. It was suicidal to try an overtake like that, Button couldn't see him because of the spray, and Button took the racing line. That's simple.
Epic Jenson! Still brings a tear of enjoyment to my eyes.
Remember this race and this last lap. Incredible driving by Jenson, huge respect for this Man)
great video to sum up this race. thankyou Liberty Media!
he showed how fast he is and how unpredictable f1 is, but lets be honest : if stroll had taken out ham and alo as button did , he would have had lots of ctitics. so in my opinion it was a great race for him but at the same time some things he did very wrong

Best F1 race ever I hope F1 streams this race so new fans can appreciate this masterpiece
Lol your wish came true
No wonder he won, he crashed out all the competitors lol
mangobooom1 oh stop with hating on JB. He was faster than anyone and when you constantly have to pass people left, right and centre than obviously it will come with some consequences. The thing is, the conditions were torrential and everyone made mistakes.
only alonso , so shut up
DeployTheDRS You dont have a sense of humour.
It looked like he was driving a tank. unbelievable that he was able to win the race with so many collisions/crashes
and Hamilton
Could have shown some of Schumachers runs during that race as well. He peformed astonishing well with a mediocre car at the time. He was running in second catching up to first. His bad luck came in when the track started drying. The best wet driver in that race was Michael Schumacher. Jenson did great too, but his start into the race was completely hot headed.
L.S. Moto So true 😓
***** On a drivers level, no. Schumacher was the best driver in that race by far. He got his car into a position, that it shouldn't even be close to. Its like Renault today chasing pole.
Jenson was very good too, we agree on that. But he had a better car, and he was able to catch up to Schumacher when it dried in the last few laps. Schumacher was the fastest on the grid during the rain - and that in a mediocre car!!!
well to be fair, Button took out both Hamilton and Alonso, the very two drivers with the best chance of prevailing against Schumacher in the wet
Back when papa Button was alive :'(
wow man.. i just fell in love with f1 recently. i have a lot to catch up then... soo many amazing moments years before
I still remember watching this live, and jumping up from the sofa when he passed Vettel! Makes be smile still watching it again, awesome!!
Best race of this century so far. It had it all.
he deserved to win
5
What a fantastic drive. Even with a bunch of penalities upon him, he still managed to win the race. Miss this guy so much in F1. One of the most underrated drivers of this century
The best highlights for all GP's in history this channel... SPETACULAR!!!
best race I have ever seen
Longest and best race I've watched in my entire life
So he basically took out two of the win contenders to win the race 😂 cheeky Jenson
Alonso was not a big win contender, a bit slower than Massa and struggling. And it was Hamilton who hit Button, which made in turn into the wall. It was suicidal to try an overtake like that, Button couldn't see him because of the spray, and Button took the racing line. That's simple.
@@grivous9515 Lol it's obvious that Jenson hit Hamilton
@@Matthew-ec3oi obvious is not an argument, the stewards said that nobody was to blame
@broccoli He should have backed off. That's a racing incident, and only Hamilton could have changed the outcome
@broccoli maybe but hes the only one who could have done something
EPIC! Jenson master class, just that.
This Race will Always be a Classic in history in Formula1 one the most amazing Races of all time . . .
Great memories JB22
This is probably the greatest drive I have ever seen in the history of F1 and without question the greatest race ever.
Woah, impressive! Jenson Button is a terrific driver :)
I still watch this race
Best Grand Prix Ever.
Uhmm... No.
Bwoah
Toby Howard I just replied to you Tiametmarduk's video. 😁😂
bruhsil 2003 i mean seriously bra ???

I will never forget this race, most dramatic race I have ever watched, 4 hours of it too.
That prouve : NEVER GIVE UP !!!
Epic race! Unbelievable action! Brilliant Jenson!
Dad would be proud. R.I.P John Button
This was one of the most exciting races I've watched in F1
Respect, Jenson!!

I watched the entire race at home, was great from start to finish.
good old days. Time flies.
I LOVE JENSON ♥️ truly I do
Jenson ❤️
one of the best races i ve seen
Jenson Button's masterclass.
What a Legend!
What a race for Jenson!
Even while 2009 with Button and BrawnGP was my favorite season ever, this race was his best one ever. I saw it live back then, including all the wait because of the rain. It was amazing.
that last lap moment is the thing I remembered the most
I can’t believe Button was over two seconds faster than the fields in the lap times
Remember this so well
I remember that shit like it was yesterday
Immense drive by Button in diabolical weather conditions, really showed his class with this victory.
epic race by Jenson epic 👏👏👏👏
amazing race f1
"jenson put me in the wall" no you put yourself in the wall, fool.
Jenson button in F1 is like Rahul Dravid in Cricket, both are absolute gentlemen in their sport
Absolutely true mate ❤
PLEASE, please upload full old races like Indycar does. This race (and Brasil 2012, Abu Dhabi 2010, etc...) was such a gem and I had the luck to watch every one of the 240+ minutes this spectacle offered. Only by actually seeing "how it used to be", you can understand some of the things that are happening now.
10 years since then.
one of the three greatest races I have seen. Although this was probably the best.
best race in f1 history
Goosebumps!
Yeah, that sure was wild and unbelievable.
JB ❤ what a race s hard last last again lots of casualties and pit stops to victory 🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁
IT WAS AMAZING RACE !!!
Greatest race ever. Love it.
Fue una remontada épica, y esa ultima vuelta fue oro!
We need more of these radios rewind
My favourite F1 race ever
That was a proper race!
Astonishing.
Well that was strangely beautiful
Excellent place to have GP. Near of beautiful city and lakes, but Belgium, Monaco and Austria are still best ones!
Miroslaavi And your worst Circuit in Formula One?
+Sergi D Baku
Miroslaavi nice to see a fellow NHL fan follow formula one
