WOW! Talk about risky. This is why you must read the RISKS portion of any financial investment opportunity BEFORE you invest. I am not looking for a play in this sector, but I'm still glad I watched this video! Great job Alex!
I am one of those investors who has blackballed China in all of my investments. Thank you for pointing out Arm China and their big influence on Arm Holdings. I was endeavoring to do due diligence when I came across your video. I think for now I will keep my money in the USA with doubling down on Pltr. Best wishes 😊
Thank you so much for the tremendous content that you’ve provided me with for quite some time now! First comment I have made but you made me laugh out loud literally! Your humility does not go unnoticed! After all “I’m just some guy on the internet” 😂 yeah that’s right, some guy that is a graduate of the unmatched degree he earned at MIT. I’m from just north of Boston and had the privilege to play a significant role in the building of the Electrical Power Plant and I believe that you may have been involved in that? I just made the connection! You mentioned that a long time ago and only now did I realize it. You are my go to source and I still like you when you say that negative things may happen with the keystone of my portfolio. I’m watching your videos now to see what you think! Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us common folk!!! Much appreciated
I heard about ARM going ipo but have a gut feelings something is off for such company to delay for ling time to jump into sharks pool. Anyway, great video and info. I'll hold on sideline till dust clear out.
@isferfun3909 I think part of the reason for the delay was because ARM wanted to IPO in the US for a better valuation but the UK government REALLY REALLY wanted them to IPO on the London stock exchange instead
Having your main customer make late payments account for 40% of total receivables, and are falling further into debt is a big issue. Unless it's some sort of accounting play, which I highly doubt. Good research here. I think ARM is for sure a wait and see.
Thanks Alex there's good reason to be cautious rather than jumping into the fire. As a CPA I applaud your DD combing of ARM's F/S for your readers and revealing important and likely to be passed over facts. I know you know the US gov't prevented ASML from selling their lithography to China. So politics is even more confusing than the stock markets. Is that possible? It seems so and waiting seems wise.
Glad to see your video on my feed. I used watch a few other UA-camrs.. and followed trades of a couple of em I'm down so much so I stopped watching altogether…210k to 80k. It got addictive. My resolve is the lot are amateurs.
Are there tools that allow investors to invest in companies before they hit the stock market, multiplying those potential gains that otherwise wouldn’t be available after the initial public offering.
I have used the same money manager for close to 10 years. We got in fairly early with a modest amount of money. Then it mushroomed like an atomic bomb. We had over 4 million dollars after GameStop profits in 2020/2021. Inflation has eaten away at the nest egg but we are lucky to have Loren look after it diligently like she has done the past 8 years.
Before you make an investment decision, consult a fee only advisere, taking advice verbatim from youtube is like going to the intern to take lessons passed on from professionals.
@jasonbuksh2958 The UK government is run by morons and the conservative government especially loves having businesses go private or maybe they didn't care about selling to a Japanese company like softbank isn't considered a security risk I think
Brilliant analysis. I do however think you're being overly bearish. Just for starters: 1) Amazon, Intel etc will have done a hell of a lot of DD on ARM China. Yes, they might be longer term holders. 2) Won't the shareholder register be fairly tightly held. i.e. more buying interest than selling? 3) Won't all the tracker funds have to start buying the shares just on account of its size?
Thanks for the great and helpful analysis! You cover it all. Much appreciated. ❤❤ One quick question, tho! Why aren't the interested big players (Amazon with $10B...) too worried about ARM China?
I could easily answer that, because any conglomerate like Amazon would be investing heavily to gain control over a company like that, sense they have the financial means but let’s be honest it would not be without a fight.
ARM cpu is already used in NVIDIA datacenter cetral processors stack. There are few comptitors Interl, RISC etc already. ARM cannot be profitable like NVIDIA. ARM CAN MADE PROFIT IN CELL PHONE, If cell phone demand gets hier, it will make money again.
Buying a $500 dollar go-pro like camera from China for just $17 is great, but it breaks after just a couple of weeks. Still, I can buy dozen's of the Chinese brand, and even though they break every two weeks, the dozen lasts half a year, which is when the next version comes out. So buying Chinese is a win if you are willing to just buy many of them and swap-out when they break.
Apple switched their CPU's from x86 to ARM with the M1 chip series... Given the number of creative and technologists that use Macs the software catalog for desktop ARM applications has skyrocketed. Add in the Oculus VR headsets taking off and creating an entirely new category of consumer spending, dominated by ARM. Lastly there is the joint venture between ARM and NVIDIA to deliver extremely powerful AI CPU's which is literally "all the rage" after GPT4's unveiling this year. ARM went from a cell phone CPU company to dang near monopoly on computing in just a few short years.
I don’t think you should downplay yourself as just some guy on the internet, I think you made a very compelling, diplomatic case on behalf of Retail Investors, in fact, maybe even institutional investors. It sounds to me as if there is a Power Struggle between ARM and Arm China, essentially an internal conflict which could instigate volatility depending on “ Trade “ disputes between the U.S. and China. It sounds to me in your conclusion to this, ARM China is Leveraging its debt with ARM and attempting to make good based on their revenue in a time sensitive manner based on their own financials, meanwhile still slowly but surely acquiring more and more possession of ARM in its entirety. What would that mean for Investors in the U.S. Market, if ARM China inevitably became the majority shareholder of ARM? I don’t know enough about investing to be able to make that assessment but perhaps you do.
Risc-v starting to make inroads into Arm space, it might seem insignificant today but it is a huge threat to Arm,, so once I saw the Chinese angle that's enough for me. I'm out
Love the videos but in 22 years in the market ive never seen any stock that was the next [insert current hyped company] that as ever worked out. Not the next Netflix, Amazon, Tesla, Apple ...you name it.

I love your deep dive on company's stock financials as well as tangent/related supplier and EU supported companies. Fascinating 🤩
Great to hear!
Great work on the due diligence of the prospectus. 99% of us would not go to this depth. Great work Alex
RISC-V is open and at ARM’s technology several years ago but catching up at an appreciable pace, no dramma attached.
WOW! Talk about risky. This is why you must read the RISKS portion of any financial investment opportunity BEFORE you invest. I am not looking for a play in this sector, but I'm still glad I watched this video! Great job Alex!
fast forward the video and the stock is 100% from it's initial offering and now working with Intel FYI
Please do a update on ARM.Thanks,

No problem! Glad you found some value in the research!
I’ve been looking for an analysis on arm and you have provided a very thorough and lucid one. Thank you

Great insight. You've pointed out what the hype hasn't considered.
That's what I'm here for!

I bought in last week. The charts look bullish. Thanks for the info anyway Alex
You gained a new subscriber. Love the DD
What was the last company to IPO within last few years that didnt drop in price pretty quickly
Especially at a $70B valuation, I expect this one to drop like a rock in a few weeks
Thanks for the info on China. I was looking for a down day to buy into the IPO but after listening to your comments I too will wait.
will ARM shoot up after the stock corrects itself in the first few weeks/months ?

Very interesting perspective. Well done!
As usual, Great research that helps real investors slow down and see the details..
Glad it was helpful!
With 30 billion market cap I will buy some shares, so for now arm has only place on my watch list!
What Websites do you find all this information on?
I would love to see a video were you cover how you research a stock!!
Never understand how the UK government allowed them to be taken private.
The British government sell everything in the country last few decades.
@jasonbuksh2958 The UK government is run by morons and the conservative government especially loves having businesses go private or maybe they didn't care about selling to a Japanese company like softbank isn't considered a security risk I think
arm china is one of the main customer that wants me to hold investing in arm.......
Well done sir, thanks for your research. I see the risks and I will sit this ipo out.
Amazing bit of digging 🎉

What is the ticker symbol for Arm I cant find it is it soft bank
Ticker: ARM. Will trade after IPO.
Which date?
5yr max before arm market transition to riscv. Current small chips for ssd and other handheld gadgets already migrating to riscv.
Brilliant insight! Thank you!
When is it launching?
About 2 weeks
Thanks Alex. An eye opener indeed.
When Arm ipo ?
About 2 weeks
Great video thanks.
Thanks for the information on ARM China

Is that weird accounting thing a possible trading strategy? Understanding how it works could be an edge?

Great video, thank you.

My Best Subscription.
I wait two months until the air isbout of this stock.
When do they IPO.
They IPO in a couple weeks
Will passive investors be able to buy shares via brokerages like Etoro, IB, etc.?
No you have to wait until it becomes public in the stock market
Another UK based company lost to the LSE. This is one of the reasons the US is so dominant, the depth of capital markets.
Your are not just another internet guy. You are raising som important questions, that ARM should answer .............or should have answered by now.
I have a lot of respect for u. Please don’t negative comments to impact ur videos and research 🧐 u r great always give great analysis
Symbols of this stock please
probably ARM when it goes public
Amazon will have 22% ARM in 2025??? So it means ARM cpus are MINORITY among servers and will be for long time.

Yes! Buy junk goods and fill our planet with disposable crap.
Thank you for the video on the ipo prospectus.
Can you please do a video on Sea Limited ?
Does Ark still own it ?
Is it still worth buying ?
Thanks
Now when companies IPO, they are mature companies. Investors are ready to capture their profit just as the company is peaking. IMO
ARM ipo valuation is bs. Two years ago, SoftBank wants to sell it for $40 Billion USD, now it is worth 75% more in two years? What changes 😂
Mainly fear of one company acquiring them imo, not valuation eg intel

I don't know about ARM China becoming a majority shareholder. But I do know their current relationship is enough to worry me.
When IPO ????
Mid-September
I didnt know that Next owned BSD unix. Return that rat ring
I will be buy a very small piece and adding as it falls. ARM is a never sell.
Just make sure to wait until it actually falls! (NOT FINANCIAL ADVICE)
I will wait.
Dude amazing content! Thank you 🙏🏽

anything with China right now needs to be thought through a few times. Too many questions politically

Arm owned by Japanese Co, Softbank. it could be a part of American CO, Nvidia. FTC and Khn Sued Nvidia .
Unfortunately not an accredited investor to be able to invest in it...
Risc-v starting to make inroads into Arm space, it might seem insignificant today but it is a huge threat to Arm,, so once I saw the Chinese angle that's enough for me. I'm out
This will be just like Uipath and PLTR sad😢
Its all owned by the Rothchild Cabal , Blackrock and Vanguard, why we still think other brands exist is just a mystery.
