At 9:10 you had a beautiful sequence with Bh4+ and Rf8# if he blocks with the rook or Qc7# if he blocks with the knight. Blocking with the queen is the only move that doesnt lose on the spot but then you're up a queen for a bishop.
Gotta love the abity to explain lines really well and put yourself down 6 minutes on the clock in a 10 minute game and still get the dub. Love the videos mate. Nice work!
I’m a newish chess player, would you mind sharing any books or resources you use to learn these openings/lines? Your videos have been really helpful, all the best from the USA
I am just a little 500 player, but after you played bishop to d2, you played queen c1, but instead of that maybe bishop to g4 and after that rook b1 to sacrifice the rook and get the checkmate? Does that work?
Will I love your shit, in the nicest way possible your lips are looking a little tooo red in the thumbnail ngl but still, absolutely dissecting your opponents as usual ⚔👊
Wait I stopped here because I didn't understand. I thought Bd2 wins a piece here 6:40, because the knight is pinned and if black plays qc5+ I just would play kh1 and the knight would still be pinned and I don't see a way to defend the knight. What am I missing?
I play the Scotch too and have prepared against ...Qh4 but once it happens in an actual game I forgot everything I'm supposed to do😂 idk why that happens
@@jinueditz Have you considered calculating? If knight blocks theres mate on c7, if rook blocks theres mate on f8, the best thing is to block with the queen
2:40 what about queen d5? if queen takes, you would get a royal fork and win a pawn back, also preventing castling edit: oh sorry didnt watch completely before showing why f4 is better
9:30, why the fuck a 500 rating dude (me) found a mate in 7 in this position? Bishop H4 - Knight e7 then mate in 1 with Queen c7 Bishop H4 - g5 just takes and it still mate in 7 Bishop H4 - Rook e7 then mate in 1 with Rook f8 So, the only move that don't make it mate in 1 is : Bishop H4 - Queen e7 Which is followed by: Bishop takes e7 - Rook takes e7 Rook check on f8 - Rook e8 Queen c5 - d6 Queen takes d6 - Bishop d7 Queen c7 - King e7 Rook f7 MATE I KNOW, NOT THE FASTEST, BUT I, A 500 ELO, SAW THIS

That’s what I saw and I wondered why he didn’t play this
can't he block with the knight though

Love the videos mate. Nice work!
A beautiful mate indeed Will. That was great fun. Thanks Will.
As per Capa 🫡
Bro walking outta room after accurate move is iconic 🫡
6:45 isn't bishop d2 just winning the knight?
Then Knight a2, rook cant take then queen takes rook a2
@@michi4743 If Na2, you just take the queen with check.
Yes it is, it's a miss by him
Qc5+ then Ne4, removes the pin and the attacked piece
8:08 Nb6 would be devastating. The bishop on b8 is trapped if traded of, king would be in line with the rook. If axb6, Bxb6+ would pick up the queen.
randomly found your channel at 2am , can found it very informative .. really one of the beautiful chckmate

What a checkmate!
0:31 - I think the best move was Be2, gambitting the e4 pawn for activity and development.

7:51 what if he moved the knight to B5 , if pawn takes u take with bishop and u pin the king it is possible?
6:45 did you miss Bd2
Never fails to be six minutes down and still win 😂😂
you had a free knight lol
9:10 there was bishop h4 which was devastating
No cause both knight and rook can capture. No point
@@jinueditzare you high
@@jinueditz Have you considered calculating? If knight blocks theres mate on c7, if rook blocks theres mate on f8, the best thing is to block with the queen
Could have sacked the knight for a bishop mate like 3 moves previous. That was beautiful though 😍
Qb6+, axb6, bxb6# What a beautiful game and a lovely mate!
Cheers for the Win 🎉
Hell yeah baby

I thought the move was bishop to h4
how can i join to your team in lichess, can you please say me the code will taylor chess

Me see Will video. Me happy. Me like and sub
It can also be a check mate without sacrificing the queen bishop to h4 takes takes chemate
9:21 can someone tell me why Bh4 is a bad move

at 703, If he played bishop d2 instead of f2, how will the other defend the knight??? Am I dreaming that?
Oh wait I see now will was trying to save the knight
69k subs when???
I'm saying end of Feb
Bro ngl you make amazing fucking content, next gotham chess if u do it right
6:35 think bishop D2 was better
9:30, why the fuck a 500 rating dude (me) found a mate in 7 in this position?
Bishop H4 - Knight e7 then mate in 1 with Queen c7
Bishop H4 - g5 just takes and it still mate in 7
Bishop H4 - Rook e7 then mate in 1 with Rook f8
So, the only move that don't make it mate in 1 is :
Bishop H4 - Queen e7
Which is followed by:
Bishop takes e7 - Rook takes e7
Rook check on f8 - Rook e8
Queen c5 - d6
Queen takes d6 - Bishop d7
Queen c7 - King e7
Rook f7 MATE
I KNOW, NOT THE FASTEST, BUT I, A 500 ELO, SAW THIS
