Couple of things, Scions get orders all over the table, not just within 6 of the sgt. Keyword there is how "AND" splits the scions part and the guard part in the particular rule for orders. Also, bring it down is used when you shoot an enemy model. Basically, after you shoot an enemy model, you can use bring it down to grant rerolls to anyone who shoots them afterwards
I believe the orders shenanigans for scions got cleared up in the FAQ, and all scions are effected by the order you choose regardless of their position on the field
Unfortunately based on the way I’m reading the rules you can only have 3 Wych fighters per Kill Team, not Fire Team. You either get 2 for 1 fire team or 3 total for 2 fire teams. Also says you can’t duplicate fighter weapons

I love that you are now playing and recrding my favourite wargame of killteam. I noticed what i think are some mistakes and wanted to point them out to help improve. Hope this doesnt come across as a @ctually. While its certainly a fun way to play, i dont think you get 6 specialists if you go for 2 wych fireteams. The wording of 2 or 3 fighters refers to the killteam as a whole and not the individual fire teams, same for the point that each fighter needs to be equipped with different options. Unless I missed something, I believe you used 'bring it down' wrong. It looks like you spent it to give 1 model full rerolls on a target that had not been shot by anyone before. The reroll everything is for everyone after the first person firing against that one target. So model 1 fires against target x, you then use bring it down and now everyone else shooting at that same target gets full rerolls. Using two hits to block a crit is shooting only. In melee, only crits can block crits during a fight action (unless you have a special rule that states otherwise, though i can't think of one that actually does that) The +1 apl from radio does not stay past your activation, its only for your next activation, so the tempestor would have contested the objective but not controlled it.
I enjoyed it and learned some. Most comments are being constructive and accurate. As long as you both have fun and stay consistent, you can just fix your mistakes the next game and not bog down the current one.

I don't know if you bring this up later but you can't use a medikit in engagement range. Minor error but worth flagging for future reference.
This interests me in seeing how many options I can run in killteam.

You get the 2nd crit from Rending when you retain dice post rolling not when resolved.
Really good play! But I think there is a small problem, I believe one agent could only took one equipment.
