Getting around 9-10 km/l in city and 12-13 on highway. Secondly, maintenance is very expensive. Oil change with filter cost 15k 12000 just for oil which is easily available from market for 8-9k. MG is overcharging for parts and Ali is right synthetic oils can easily last at least 1 year. This 3 month bs is a money making tactic.
On an honest note all PHEV fuel consumption ratings are based on a combined cycle of electric charge from socket + post engine turning on and providing power to the wheels and charging the battery. So in a combined cycle of traveling 100km MG PHEV may give an overall fuel consumption of 25km/litre which is not bad.. However one thing needs to be highlighted which that total power is produced only when the battery is fully charged and both battery and engine are contributing the power. Its interesting to know What happens to total power output when the battery is low and it is being charged by the engine.
You guys should make a detailed video on maintenance of common cars such as Corolla, Civic, Vitz, local crossovers etc including engine oil details and filters qualities available in market.
This owner is exposing the tactics MG and probably other companies use to exploit the customers on the name of maintainance and warranty. 82500 rupees plus labour for gear oil change on a MG ZS....personal experience
MG is all show and no go, with due respect I had the car for a year and the claim that it can give 10-12 average is completely not possible on regular fuel let alone octane. Along with that there is a major fault in high speed breaking of the car and a huge lack of traction in steep situations. I have the new hrv now and that car is giving me an average of 11-13 in city.
Highly appreciated review. Keep it up. Soon I’m going to buy suv. But I’m confused between MG Hs and Kia sportage or Hyundai. Can anyone help me to finalise my SUV decision. Me and family like MG HS. Need your support and right feedback Regards Syed Mohsin
Using MG HS since Dec 2020, 63000 km driven with OEM tires, brake pads, rotors. 1st battery was changed in Jan 2022, second battery was changed on 6 .9.23. Loving the car. Made a trip from Gujranwala to Khunjerab Pass. Got average(guj-khunjerab-guj) of 8.1l/100km
So in hindsight, "P" in PHEV doesn't stand for a "Plug-in Hybrid". It stands for PRANK HYBRID. WTF is this. Is this a Joke k Ghar pr charge ho k sirf chalay gi?? Is se behtr aur proper Hybrid to HAVAL H6 HEV hy sirf aur sirf. So awful k there's no real Plug-in Hybrid in the Pakistani Market...

they are campaigning for 50KM/L , 2 4 neechy ho to Not bad, but getting half of that and Not bad ??
@@versaty65 so first 50-55km is without fuel then @15km/l. Thats how all manufacturers r marketing it which i agree is a bit deceiving..

@@M_ALI865 the same as a 2.4L prado, you'll be lucky to get anything above 6-7km/L.
