@Anglewaterstreatment yes on ableton, im using ableton by the way. I usually assign my pads to which midi instrument i prefer and start a loop recording from there. Ofc, tempo and everything is the first step. I recommend you look into youtube tutorials on how to set up with a music software ☺️ The akai do not actually work without a software hehe

hi, its pre-record, the loop recording was done before the video was shoot. im just reshowing how i did it in the arrangement mode. ☺️
