Growing up to Johnny's films I never really thought of him as a person that was an all around normal dude. This interaction with the stylist as well as watching the trial has shown me a totally different, extremely down to earth guy. When filming the first Pirates movie, he came to my friend’s bar on a regular basis. He was the nicest, quietest most down to earth celebrity to ever visit her bar. He would talk to everyone. He would pay many rounds of drinks to the regular patrons and left generous tips for the staff. My friend has told me many times that she will never, ever believe AH’s accusations. If he had a violent streak, she had plenty of opportunities to notice something and she never did. Nothing at all.
I never really paid attention to Johnny through these years. I saw him in ESH and the first POC movie. But watching his real life personality through the trial, interactions with the public, and this video, JD is so thoughtful and caring. Always takes other peoples considerations before his own.
