I'm an Ohio State fan, and the only thing keeping me from wanting to remove Day is that I don't know who the next Jim Tressel is. Now there are sirens and beacons and fireworks, all pointing to Mike Vrabel.

Vrab's will not coach at Ohio State nor College. He hates the recruiting part and why would he want to deal with all the extra headaches of NIL and the NCAA> Won't happen. Fickell will be the next Ohio State coach, his dream job and he has prepared for it and is loved in Buckeye Nation.

No, it's a inexperienced QB starting and getting hurt early. Then a true freshman QB with very few reps taking his place. A different center, a freshman guard. Missing a stud running back who transfered. Missing a starting safety and a starting LB. That's why they lost the bowl game. Get real, they played with one arm behind their back.

I’ll tell you: the stupid fans and a coach who makes $8M a year. I live in central Ohio and these fans are mental. The whole scenario is stupid. This doesn’t happen at Utah, Oklahoma State or Iowa! You know why? They have solid coaches with winning programs and a fan base that doesn’t expect a national title every year. And yet they send kids to the NFL too!

Coach Day is a damn good coach but to many of the younger Buckeye fans 11-2 is not good enough and losing to Michigan is a mortal wound. Turns out Ohio State and coach Day weren't as bad as fans thought. Lost to last years National Champs by a missed field goal and lost to this years National Champs by six. The best Highschool players and now high quality transfers are coming to Ohio State to play for coach Day. Fire him and watch the program desolve in this era of NIL and the portal.

You insult Ohio State players who work their asses off. The coach isn't soft and neither is the team. When are fans going to realize you can't win them all. As a fan you can expect to and you can hope to but when your team goes 11-2 and that's not good enough to the point of criticism of players and coaches, that's ridiculous.
Ryan Day is the man for the job...and Vrabel is perfectly built for the NFL. Real Fans want Day, Fanatics (crazy ppl) want Vrabel and the Sun and the Moon 100 million in unmarked bills in a McDonalds bag and Saban to coach the Special Teams. 😂 As a Buckeye FAN I know we are in a the best possible situation at the moment.
I agree. Us Ohio state fans need to stand by Ryan Day. We lost a national championship by a field goal we missed. That’s not his fault. We lost to Michigan by 6 points. That would have changed if they gave us that interception. I believe Ryan Day is a good fit. The fan base needs to support him. The more support we give the better our team will be. We need to be proud of our accomplishments. He’s only been at Ohio state for 3 seasons and he’s done great. The Missouri loss was the only bad look but what do you expect when half our team didn’t play. I’m also upset with how fans treated our quarterback. I thought he was great. It was his first year. Heck everyone stood by CJ Stroud and he lost against Michigan and lost in the national championship game so why did we not stand behind Kyle McCord? I don’t get it. I’m sick of hearing so many Ohio State fans talk crap about our coaches and players. You don’t see Alabama or Georgia doing that. Hell they had a big party for their new coach. What are we doing?
@@Bowhunterohio Further more, I think this is why so many players chose to return for '24...to send the message to all the talkers that "They" have Ryan Day's back, that they believe in him. I know there's unfinished business but I think it's mostly to show Faith in their coach. And to add to your thoughts on the QB's...does everyone now see just how good Stroud is...and to think each year the QB play has to be better than the previous guy is ludicrous.

People are over exaggerating the situation between Michigan and Ohio State. Michigan is better right now but its not to fae off in my opinion this year proved it in my eyes with a lesser QB talent less oline lesser dline and they almost beat them on the last drive even with a lesser QB. And you know we all know Michigan cheated 2 years in a row. But i dont even care about that anymore because college football landscape is changing the big ten is no walk in the park anymore. Michigan isn't going 15-0 for a long time. They had the deepest team this year what do you expect with 40 upper classman be fr. Now its A new year new day Ohio St will beat them 2024

@@bvmas32I think the buckeyes are going to be around 6th in the big ten this year to be honest. They will be behind Michigan, Oregon, Washington, Penn State, and Iowa in that order. The sheer defensive prowess of Iowa is diarrhea inducing for the opposing teams!
