Made from 80% wool and 20% nylon
(11.5 ounce twill wool/nylon blend)
This shirt comes pre-washed and Woolrich advertises it as machine washable
Classic fit - drapes loosely
Available colors: Red/Navy, Olive, Gray and Buckskin
Cons: can be a bit scratchy if worn without an undershirt.
The Alaskan Wool shirt is a rugged field shirt. It is simple, offers good warmth and built to last.

I would say it's one of the warmest most durable shirts ever made. It was originally made for the great outdoors. I guess Woolrich has gone urban and stopped production. It's a shame, another American classic bites the dust.

Is this the Melton wool, recycled Italian wool? Was considering buying it but, the price is steep. How does it compare to ll bean?
