The shortcuts you show are really useful. I wonder if shortcuts can be implemented in third-party apps, for example in Photoshop editing a batch of images with a always shortcut. I know the function exists inside Photoshop, I just brought the example
Glad to hear that! And if you add a new shortcut, you can click on Apps in the Actions tab at the right. This will show you all the Mac apps that support shortcut actions, so you could implement those! Anything beyond these apps is (at least I don‘t think so) not possible… Hope this helps and thanks again for watching!

Yes! You just have to disable iCloud syncing for the Shortcuts app on Mac. In the menubar, click Shortcuts and then go to Settings. Here, under General, you can uncheck iCloud Sync. Hope this helps!
Is there any shortcut or automation that shows a minimum and maximum battery level? I used the AlDente app but it disconfigured the Mac several times. So, I'm trying to use the Shortcuts app to monitor the battery level, but I don't know how to create the variables that can notify when the battery has reached a minimum and maximum level. Could you make a video about this, teaching how to create this shortcut?
Great video as always! Are you running Ventura or Sonoma? I just set up my iPad home screen with some short cut widgets on the home screen. Just wondering with the advent of home screen widgets in Sonoma if we will be able to add shortcuts as widgets to the home screen in Sonoma.

It still hasn’t the automation feature like the iPhone and iPad. I only use the shortcuts app for automation. If or when Macs get it I will use the shortcuts app.

Sadly, this would require an automation which only works on iOS and iPadOS, not on Mac… But there‘s an app called Shortery which I found in the App Store and I heard it brings Automations to Shortcuts on Mac, but I didn‘t try it yet. Maybe this one can solve your problem!
Hey thank you! That‘s really annoying, I had some issues with the links, contacted Apple Support, they had no way to fix it. For me and many others they are now working, I‘ve heard that reloading the website a few times would help. I’m really sorry about that, it‘s really really frustrating. I might include a PDF document in the description with each shortcut‘s action list, to easily replicate it.

Hey, some of them can: Phone, Speed Dial, Passwords, Live Photo to GIF, Remind me at Work, Remind me at Home, RSS Feed should all work!
