Who´s the biggest Biffa fan? A tea drinking person? A coffee drinking person? Or a guy who puts his morning coffee in a mug with a zip of yesterday nights earl grey to get that very special Earl Grey Coffee Ding Dong...?
Hey Biffa, so far it looks like you forgot about the healthcare in your very BEAU-TEA-FUL (my name suggestion for that new area) new area.... MAKE TEA NOT WAR
Call the new area Tealand Fields because it used to be farm land, and for New Brewburgh's far flung sister city. Also you could put the cemetery on the other side of the outer road, as if it were originally built far out from the city in quiet countryside, but now the city has come to it.
There's a sci-fi movie coming out tomorrow called Megalopolis and I think of Biffa every time I see an advert for it 😅 They shoulda called it Megalopolopolis.
How about Newbrew Hills as a name? :) 05:40 the land there begs for a local road under the larger bridge, connecting to the other side of the highway, and only allow right turns inside the intersection (and through traffic on the highway) making it a full service interchange without needing any additional terraforming. 08:02 that empty poking out corner of the high density area kind of begs for a short cut at least for the trams, or maybe all traffic on that ring road. Also the regular road without tram tracks that connects should maybe be aligned to the regular road part of your custom type road? Also how about some public transit? Hindsight is 2020 but that bus only road could had gotten it's own bridge and continued right across the new area. Probably hard to fit now when everything is already built, but still. Not sure what your plans are for the farmlands outside the new area but whatever you end up building there could be part of a bus route passing through what you just built today. Btw the short dead end stub roads at the high school really begs for some super short foot paths connecting to the adjacent roads. If this had ben IRL the students would for sure walk over the lawn at those spots. The elementary school near the highway might deserve a fence next to the highway, stopping children from running into the highway.
@BiffaPlaysCitiesSkylines Do you happen to know if there's a node controller mod in the works? That and the node lane switching tool from TMPE are the only major mods I still find myself grasping for.
@@BiffaPlaysCitiesSkylines Traffic currently only works on intersections, and MoveIt's manipulation mode only lets you shiftify rather than reshape a node. With the Road Builder mod it's really easy for roads to get twisted when you connect roads of other size to them, like in the last episode.
You can also use the Traffic lane switching tool on other non-intersection nodes, I've done it a few times to stop random u-turns in odd places 👍 Hopefully a fully fledged node controller is on the way 😁
Great work! The layout on the thumbnail reminds me of the Imola circuit and Santerno River is also going along there. :) Maybe Santerno Imola as a district name? Would also love to see some more smaller sport parks for the teens
Why hasn't someone made the mod from CS1 that slopes the height of one node to another at a set degree. I was so happy watching CS1 videos when they fixed lumpy bumpy railroads, tram lines, and highways for a smoother and more realistic flow.
They have, but there was a bug in another part of the mod that caused problems so the mod has been rolled back while it gets fixed. It's called Anarchy...
Love these kinds of easy to watch episodes, smack down a small village with everything it needs in just over half an hour. The last few griddy episodes made me feel like I was in a business meeting with hourlong roadbuilding, watching those small patches of skyscrapers that all look the same made me quit watching.
I have a population of over 130,000 people and a boasting income of €250,000/h. I'm still amazed by your patients with your city! I mean, come on! Your city looks so perfect! I'm considering swiping my whole city and suburbs and recreate the layout of the map so that it matches my home town! That would be kind of cool if it works 😜🤩
You really need a university. Adding a university will also help create high education workers, which will be really good for an advanced moderny style manufacturing/offices area. Stuff like those special large offices or factories/power stations. It will also help sort out your unemployment.
Looking Amazing. The new district is coming along nicely maybe this can be a place where the Farm meets suburbia and use the still farm parts of it as lower education industry to give plenty of jobs for those less inclined to learn. I was also thinking you could name the District Cheltea
I'd be tempted to put a small train station in Vermont Way. Think it would reduce traffic etc. Could also consider having a tram link up the main road and a turn back - although that might be too urban than what you're looking to achieve here.
Bergamot Way, One of my favourite calming teas, which I think suits the area because it feels quite relaxed on the outskirts of the city, especially with the farms, river and autumnal vibes
I like teapotterdam for the new district next to the river (sounds a bit like the dutch city of Rotterdam). And maybe gunpowder district (after gunpowder green tea) for the high rise?
Biffa your city is realy coming along and looking great. Also, a minor idea for the High School. You might want to consider changing the angle rood to one way and have it connect to the 2 outer road for better traffic flow and use the recover space for a basket court or something else. In addition, to help get rid of your cold. Consider taking some rose hip seeds since they are filled with vitamin C and your body will peep out the what it doesn't need. Also since you had COVID your immune system is a bit lower then normal and you have a greater chance of getting sick for the next few years. So it might be a good idea to talk with your doctor and maybe increasing your vitamin intake to help you.
Biffa I see a problem with ur city the zoning in ur centre is not very good try and mix ur zoning in ur centre so buildings don’t look the same, gives a better transition to the suburbs and looks more dense
Trealine Fields. You followed a lot of tree lines from the old farm to make the roads over the fields. Just had to change the spelling of tree to trea, in honour of a good cuppa.
Biffa don’t forget to add an additional train station on one of the farmer field’s, also remember to add road maintenance depot and trash as they will be locked to other districts
@@BiffaPlaysCitiesSkylines I like Tetley, for myself, but I also love this Welsh brand my brother has gotten me twice, particularly as part of its name is my first name! 🫖😆
I think the big city center should have its district broken up, partly to spread around services a little better, and partly for some neighborhood names. In that you can name some of the neighborhoods after things that are a part of or added to tea, or just blends themselves. Bergamot, Earl Grey, Oolong, Jasmine, Rooibos, Lapsang, Chamomile, etc. The new riverside build could be called something like Tranquilitea Crossing or something similar
Hey Biffa, great video as always. You can reinstall the extended road upgrades mod for the time being until Anarchy is fixed properly. That way you can make a bridge, etc if needed.
Love these series. Name suggestion: Riverfield. It combines the river flowing there and the fact the estate was build in the former fields and actually still has the outlines through the road placement. If you want to name it after someone, then I'd suggest my son Harry (born last month). But I honestly think the first suggestion would fit better.

Welcome to paradise 👍😁
It would be great to live In a city where my house doesn't dissappear while I was waiting for my bus home.
Turns out the crematorium across the river isn't operating for the district of Vermont Way.. or whatever it will be renamed to. :)
A pedestrian bridge connecting the new district to the camping ground would be nice :)
Oh yeah good idea 👍
Are the garbage and recycling also by district or citywide? Yeah, I love to see metro brought over to the new area as well.
City wide, but I'll be adjusting that soon 👍

I've seen that trailer, thought the same thing 😅
You should name you American designed districts after American teas like Lipton Heights, Luzianne Provenience ect.
I submit BREWERTON as a possible name for the new area. Keeping with the theme. It is also the name of the town where I was born 🙂
To name the district, replace Vermont with Bergamot.

@BiffaPlaysCitiesSkylines Do you happen to know if there's a node controller mod in the works? That and the node lane switching tool from TMPE are the only major mods I still find myself grasping for.
With Move It you have some node-ish adjustments and Traffic has a lane switching tool you can use, so 90% there :-)
