Love this! I agree about your assessment of the books. They make a good series though and some of the scenes are repetitive-a lot about James and his demons that cause him to behave the way he does. There are a few things I wondered about in the second book/ the author never does reveal to Ruby that James went to her place first after he found out his mother died. I don’t know if that really would have made a difference to what happened or if she would have understood better why he behaved the way he did when she caught him with Elaine but it might have. I hope the series does not drag out their being apart
I really love the changes they made in the show so far! especially devoting some time to develop supporting characters like lydia and focusing on the dysfunctionality of their family. I'm gonna start the 3rd book tonight so I'll see where it goes!
