When this guy left Los Angeles and returned to Japan the USA lost! This man's playing is so incredible I've thought about flying to Japan to see him. With my lulck, he'll do a USA tour shortly afterwards.
Cry for You is brilliant. I can hear typical classical and asian tone patterns. It's a perfect blend and contains a strong, soulful and beautiful melody. OPUS 1 is both comple and musical in nature, Can definitely hear the Malmsteen influence on Kelly's playing but he's got his own established style and it works perfectly. There are many Malmsteen copycats out there, with no unique style of their own. This however is brilliant music.
Also just discovered Kelly and wow, he instantly went to my personal list as the best guitarist in the world; this guy knows how to put his emotions into notes and sounds like no other. Goosebumps and total awe! Keep on rocking mr. Simonz!
when he beggins the song it hears like altittudes of Jason Becker heheh xD i think this guitarrist is a goodest one but his styler is similar to Yngwie but in a modern version well NICE JOB AND AMAZING CONCERT BTW

It does sound great. But it's totally Malmsteen based. I don't see it like a problem though. As a matter of fact, anyone who plays harmonic minor phrases, arpeggios, etc. over classical (neoclassical metal, rock, etc.) melodies will sound like him in a way or another.
