Holy crap I cannot believe this is actually out. Its been crazy to see this level actually come to fruition over the past couple of months. This is most likely going to be the peak of me as a creator outside of just making gameplay. Now for a bit of backstory:
So basically a few months ago Blizzard and I stumbled across the map for lagtrain in osu!mania, and we were absolutely addicted to it. It used storyboarding in a way we hadn’t seen before and the way it used effects to copy the song's music video was just so satisfying on top of the fact that we both just adored the song. Later I made gameplay to the first drop of the song just for fun not expecting to finish it, but then Blizzard had the idea for us to collab on the full song. Then we decided to take it a step further and create a gimmick/effect level to try and imitate the storyboard of the osu!mania map, with the 4 cube gameplay being what the level leads up to at the end. It's crazy to me how we were able to go into this with basically zero editor experience and make an experience that I would consider full/finished, and I am extremely happy with how it turned out.

This video has gotten picked up recently in the algorithm and has been getting a lot of views. Just want to say how happy Blizzard and I are that so many people are seeing and enjoying our work! Never would thought I would get a video to break 2,000 views.

I thought this was gonna be another boring Lagtrain layout until I saw the 1:13 part, holy frick, is probably one of the most sickest things I've ever seen in GD, that part was just genius.

I have listened to this song and covers of it 100s of times. I have no clue why the algorithm waited this long to share this masterpiece with me but I am glad it did. Amazing level design thats true to the music video without being nauseating :D

I can see some of you here are being critical about this map, but for me, it is simply great. It matched the theme, design layout and aesthetic of the song, so it's all good for me. Also, yes 1:13.

If I was a mod I would either go to the next level after the first 10 seconds or send it after having seen the whole level. It's really charming and has lots of idea despite the simple aesthetic
But one small criticism:
Because of the some of the effects like the backwards section or the stopping section, the gameplay gets that certain memory factor, and that would be OK if the rest of the level was memory based as well, but it isn't so that kinda sucks.
Yeah, it only makes for a great video more than playing it yourself in that regard, but it's still so cool nonetheless

Clicking on this video I was curious. At first, I wasn't too interested in the layout, and then I passed ~40 seconds of the video and couldn't look away.

I really want lagtrain to take 6 more months to come out so I think either you need to get serious about not dedicating yourself to finishing it or if you really think you will then hand it over to me and I will figure out how to not finish it myself
Seriously though, this was awesome! I can't believe we went all the way with it. I know you and I are both increbily proud of this, and it was super fun to collab with you on it!

Love this honestly, been playing it and learning relatively quickly but I'm curious what difficulty this is around? I'm generally Medium-hard demons but I've beat Leyak/Acu so I'm curious if this is like out my league or if it's just a bit learny. ty and great level again!
Its not bad! Worst I've heard it called is an easy insane demon. The gimmick part is easier than it looks, its mostly clicking at a consistent rhythm outside of remembering where the dash orbs are
@@KneeVan_ yee seems like mostly a few tight spots and those dash orbs, last unrated level I tried was Rain - Imphara which wasn't too bad until the waves so just making sure ^^' ty for that!
Just a lil update, beat it and can confirm it's a hard demon other than the ship+dash orbs and 55-65% (mainly the 56 click for me weirdly) rly fun tho! Plays super well/consistent
