Geocache trinkets are there for you to take something but leave something of equal value. I have been geocaching for a long time now. Neat game and get excercize
I have 2 brothers in law that geocache all over. A little Goofy trinket he left has traveled to Hawaii and Germany from his cache in Michigan!! And it is a great way to exercise and see some of the great outdoors. Great abandoned bridge guys; really enjoyed this adventure! Stay safe y'all. Ty R & R 💕
Yes Mary I have got a traveling coin that every now and then shows up somewhere. I am hopping it makes it to Vietnam. That’s where I directed it to go. Take grandkids out searching and we have a blast.
How did you get started doing this? Do you notify the county of the lost cemeteries you find? Do you coordinate with groups to clean them up? Do you take volunteers? You guys are so respectful to the deceased! Thank you.
You taught this old (56 yrs young) lady a new word...geocache! I must investigate this further, but what neat little thing to find!!! The knowledge of the senior Robert surely combines well with the younger Robert, and both of you are a strength to be reckoned with! I absolutely enjoyed this episode! Keep doing what you are doing!
So cool! That bridge looks better than some I've seen that are still being used! Stumbling across the geocache is so awesome! Young Robert -- nice haircut! Senior Robert -- thanks for enlightening us on why the bridge was replaced. Blessings!
Maybe hes got several shirts of the same design and color, with three or four pants that are the same. I myself went through a phase of several of same shirt and same kind of jeans, it was nice I never worried about what i would be wearing everyday...
I’m a geocacher in Minnesota and you have found two geocaches since I’ve watched you. It makes me itch to go out looking again. Many of your locations are perfect for hiding.
Hi Robert & other Robert, I am loving other Robert's shirt but you know 1st Robert he really does deserve his very own Sidestep Adventures shirt, Grandpa always said "You gotta earn your shirt" I truly believe he has 😉😜. That bridge is awesome, a real shame it isn't used as part of a hiking trail etc. Thank you for sharing, much love. xx💖
That's a beautiful walk as well as beautiful piece of architecture. They don't build bridges like that anymore. Too cool you found a bonus Geo Cache! Thanks for sharing with us. Happy Thanksgiving from Washington state. Wishing everyone many blessings.
My dad used to build bridges so this one really touched my heart with memories.💜 Thank you Robert & Robert! Have a wonderful and Happy Thanksgiving! 🍁🦃🍂
Thank you for sharing! The bridge is just fascinating. The newer bridges are also being built to withstand higher speeds as well as more weight and width. When you find an old out-of-commission bridge, you can tell so much about the timeline of the town(s) it likely served. Love these adventures!
Thanks for taking us along, Robert and Robert! Those abandoned roads and bridges are great and then to find a geocache makes this one all the more fun.---I grew up in Bloomfield, Indiana, and past the west end of town and down in the river bottom area in the woods there are the supports for a bridge that was removed a long time ago, these big stone structures just standing among the trees. To the south a new bridge was built and some years ago that bridge was demolished. I'm think the third, newest bridge is on the same site as the second one. It would be fun to go back there and see if the supports from the second bridge are now historic, archaeological structures in the woods.
Wonderful old bridge. Thanks for sharing. I wish the state of Georgia had foresight to make these old highways into bike trails for families to enjoy. Wisconsin did rails to trails with neet old 1800 train tunnels and beautiful countryside
Hey Robert and Robert!!! Great adventure, I love old bridges too!!! Awesome video, I enjoyed it very much!!! HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO YOU BOTH!!! Take care, stay safe and God bless you both!!!
Interesting bridge. When you 1st walked across I found myself wondering how cars fit, but thought maybe it was the perspective of the camera. That would make a good hiking or bike trail. The beavers have really been active. Great finding the geocache. Keep Safe ❤Keep Well ❤
It's amazing how quick nature takes it all back once man has left it. They sure don't build bridges like they used to. What a beautiful old bridge. I'm like you guys. I think I could spend all day there. It's beautiful 😍❤ There. That find was pretty neat. I didn't know people did things like that. It's great that you signed it. God bless 💖
A lot craftsmanship went into to old bridges. There is one similar to that on the old Birmingham to Atlanta Highway near Lovick, Alabama. Thanks for sharing.
1. Is it still Deer season and that is why 'the other Robert' is still wearing his bright green only shirt? 2. I was pleasantly surprised to see it look so clean under that bridge. Thank you for your videos, love them.
I love following your channel! My three brothers & I spent all our High School years in Columbus. Our best friends lived in Harris County. We ran up and down those backroads in a Squarebody Chevy, we canoed many of those creeks and streams, fished the Chattahoochee and swam in Lake Oliver. Keep up the good videos they bring back a ton of memories!
Aloha Robert & Robert! Beautiful bride! We have a very old road that goes from our yard to our neighbors thru large concrete pipes. We have a natural stream that runs thru. I'm always amazed when I go pick flowers how beautiful concrete can be. Stay safe! Take care!
Typical construction of bridges pre_WWII most likely build late 20s maybe early 30s We had a lot of old bridges like that in Arkansas. Some that were long had step outs for people who were walking to step out of the traffics way. We still have some bridges here built by the CCC camps and WPA. If you travel Hwy 7 north from Hot Springs, there are several old CCC bridges still in uses. Highway 23 is called The Pig Trail and loved by motorcycle groups because of the twist and turns. Most of the bridges are just like in your video.
I sure enjoyed watching this video. Bridges to me are so interesting. And finding that box with items in it was awesome. I learn so much from both of you. Keep up the good work. I enjoy every video.
The old bridge is cool. It’s like a ghost town in a way. It’s cool to think about the model A cars zooming over at 25 MPH. The cars were narrow so the bridge were narrow.
Robert, My Only Shirt LOL 😁 and The Other Robert. What you need is two shirts with The Other Robert on them...hehehe I did wonder about that bridge, it's really well built , it just couldn't keep in step with the times. I would bet there is some old surveying or historical map showing the original bridge under the bridge. Cheers, Rik Spector
Your documentaries are such a pleasure for me. Learn so much and without exception loads of fun. Always look forward to everything you put up. Sincere thanks.
You two are a hoot! I love the color of Robert IIs only shirt, I’d love to send him another one....what a great find. So glad you signed the log book. I had not heard of these before. Super idea. Love your adventures, and we get to come along with you.
That little pig light is the signature item of a known Geocacher in the GA/AL area. Sorry that I can't rember their name...it's been a while since I was involved in the activity.
Excellent adventure! And stumbling upon the GeoCache box was pretty cool too -- a find within a find! Hope both you Roberts have a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday!!! Don't eat too much! ;-) Take care, Valerie.
Thank y’all so much again for taking us with you guys. It was so fun. I enjoy this a lot. Finding that box was cool. Your hair looks good young Robert. I enjoy your info so much older Robert. Lol. Take care.
Thank you for the adventure and seeing some beautiful scenery ! Take care , stay safe and healthy with whatever you guys maybe doing next ! Doing well here in Kansas .
I didn't think I would like this, but I was wrong, this was awesome, and the other older bridge under the one you walked across, I was wondering why they would build another bridge when this one was or seemed to be quite solid, and then Robert explained, because of the wider transport that needed to use it, thank you so much for this really interesting video, loved it.
Where are you finding these old cemeteries and places. I would love to take pictures. You guys need to go to north Georgia and go to the kells cemetery
Hi Robert and Robert, nice to see that old bridge, the old bridge still looks good, and to think one day the trees and grass will grow over it, I think it will still be standing for years, best wishes to you from EVE in the uk.
Happy thanksgiving to both Roberts and your families !! If you decide to pardon the turkey, put him on video along with the ducks and the rooster !! We need a little gobble along with the quacking and the crowing !! Neat video !!
Geocaching is a great hobby and very educational and a great weight-reducing thing also. The Ammo box is an excellent cache container. Sure enjoy you guys Side Step Adventures really cool. And the crunching leaves takes me back to the youth age of playing in the woods.
How much fun was find that box and you added your names to it, so cool. The bridge was very interesting. It's a shame we do not put the money into really fixing the older bridges and extend them and reinforce them. Thank you for another fun journey.
my son and I used to do it. Tought we upon our coolest find on Prince Edward Island, Canada, only to find it destroyed. Good job putting it back and signing in. Folks get a lot of joy out of doing that.
Love that old bridge. It has so much more character and style than any of the bland new stuff. I just added a video on my channel of an old trolley bridge that’s not been used since the 50s. Hope you guys have a great Thanksgiving 👍
Great job finding this beauty and the cache is a bonus. This is a very fun adventure. You 2 Roberts make my day. Have a Blessed Thanksgiving. I think I'll send Robert 2 a new shirt for Christmas 😁
This is was a super fun adventure! I hope you enjoy watching it as much as we enjoyed being there...

Oh! Robert II, I think he needs another shirt, then he he could put on the back, "Now I have 2 shirts." Have a great day guys.
Maybe hes got several shirts of the same design and color, with three or four pants that are the same. I myself went through a phase of several of same shirt and same kind of jeans, it was nice I never worried about what i would be wearing everyday...
@@kcalvin66 It was meant as a joke only.

I love bridges especially underneath the bridges. The asymmetry is beautiful.

You have some of the best friends to be adventuring with. Thanks for sharing another great one.
Nice old bridge, finding that geocache was pretty cool too . Thanks, Robert (s)
Wonderful old bridge. Thanks for sharing. I wish the state of Georgia had foresight to make these old highways into bike trails for families to enjoy.
Wisconsin did rails to trails with neet old 1800 train tunnels and beautiful countryside
Now just need to drop a magnet off of it; can you imagine the history that may be under there?
yep that new magnet fishing that is catching on!
I LOVE little adventures like this! Since I can't do them myself anymore...it's the next best thing🤗
Thanks for the trip❣️
Hey Robert and Robert!!! Great adventure, I love old bridges too!!! Awesome video, I enjoyed it very much!!! HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO YOU BOTH!!! Take care, stay safe and God bless you both!!!
Maybe some one could make it part of a walking trail? Bridge is really cool. Biking trail, horse trail? I'm just full of ideas. Lol 🤣!
Great idea.
Love The adventures !!!
Too cool! I love anything old and abandoned like that.
Stuff like this is just totally fascinating.
This old bridge reminds me of the Old Macon bridge near Eatonton Ga.
Interesting bridge. When you 1st walked across I found myself wondering how cars fit, but thought maybe it was the perspective of the camera. That would make a good hiking or bike trail. The beavers have really been active. Great finding the geocache. Keep Safe ❤Keep Well ❤

Great find glad you wrote in the book
1. Is it still Deer season and that is why 'the other Robert' is still wearing his bright green only shirt? 2. I was pleasantly surprised to see it look so clean under that bridge. Thank you for your videos, love them.
You guys are hilarious! I would never guess that finding an old bridge would be so entertaining.

That was so cool to find that box and sign it..
Great bridge..great explore!! 💖
Fascinating the way nature reclaims the leavings of people. A tree growing out of the deck, hard to believe.
Thank you for this video. I really enjoyed it, the bridge, scenery, and your special find....
Oh. I love this ! Glad you signed it . Hope it brings many more out side to join in the fun.
I sure enjoyed watching this video. Bridges to me are so interesting. And finding that box with items in it was awesome. I learn so much from both of you. Keep up the good work. I enjoy every video.
Finding the geocache thing was cool. Great video. Keep up the good work
Thank you Robert, I was wondering about the bridge replacement as it didn’t look too bad. Never thought of the width.
Loved it glad to see the other Robert doing better from hi ankle.
I'm still catching up on your videos. I love the "other Robert's" shirt saying "my only shirt!" His sense of humor is great.
Nothing intrigues me more than old, abandoned roads.

Love the bridge and fun find! Great job!
Just love the other Robert he's very knowledgeable ..love when he's out and about with you 👍he's also very funny 😉
I too love old abandoned bridges in the woods.
I find it interesting that they built one bridge over another. Never knew about Geosites. That’s interesting and fun.
They did that to a bridge near my childhood home. Built it over the old bridge.
In scouting we do that a lot. New type of compass course
I love it when you find old abandoned bridges.
Two different worlds.......an old, old bridge with the sound of modern cars whizzing by in the background. I'm in awe.
Your documentaries are such a pleasure for me. Learn so much and without exception loads of fun. Always look forward to everything you put up. Sincere thanks.
Cool. Thanks for sharing your story with us!

Also- miss seeing you wear the old Stetson!
Orange & yellow good colors for the woods this time of year..
Happy Thanksgiving All!
That was so much fun!!! Love you guys!
