The fact that the stuff gets wet renders these bags useless for what they were meant to be for. Pay the extra money, get some good ones from REI. Thanks for the demonstration, Gary! 👍
Sucks that the stuff gets wet but for me, if I were to flip again (not gonna happen) the fact that they float and keep some water out may be worth the cheap price point. I also like that they’re light. Yeah, your expensive one will keep ALL water out, but I may not want to carry that beast on my kayak. Good review.
For a just in case piece of mind, there good. As I said, I'll use them and be stored in my locker. If I flip my boat, Whatever is in a dry bag is the least of my worries. L o l.
