I once wanted to text you about the drugs issue. Thanks for bringing this lady. Also people should learn not to accept kutumwa parcel ama kushikia mtu bag kwa airport
@py4234 I haven’t but I have met plenty with weird behavior. And it’s not a question of living in west Africa, the whole world knows, they’re not wanted anywhere in Europe for your information. I live in Europe and I can tell it to you
I was prisoned for something i never did or never Image myself i would do. The thought of my innocence makes me cry. I learned that life is unpredictable. I accepted it and moved on . Now reciding in Germay with a very good job. Thank u lord i cant express my Gratitude.
NEVER DO THIS IN A FLIGHT!!! If you travel by air a lot, beware of over friendly chatty seat Neighbour's. The older lady comes and sits next to me inside the plane. She asked me to help her put her bag in the overhead luggage compartment. But a gentleman sitting across quickly came through. (I am not very tall, and the overhead luggage compartment is something I try to avoid at all costs. Immediately she sits down she strikes up a conversation. She was very pleasant and well spoken. So, we chatted all through the flight to Dubai. Suddenly, when the pilot announced that we were now proceeding to begin our descent into DXB, my good friend 'developed' stomach pains. Me with my good heart, I pressed the steward's button, and the stewardess came to find out what the problem was. I told her my seat mate was not feeling well. And this lady, she suddenly began to address me as 'my daughter'. The stewardess told me that there was nothing they could do except give her some painkillers and wait until we landed. The pilot announced that we had a medical emergency on board and advised us all to stay calm. My new friend was crying and sweating like crazy. And she refused to let go of my hand... everyone assumed we knew each other. So, we landed at DXB and the same gentleman who helped put up her luggage in the overhead compartment removed her luggage. But as he removed the luggage, he advised me to distance myself from this lady and make it clear to the cabin crew that we were NOT travelling together. He was a godsend! So indeed, the cabin crew came and asked me if we were related, I categorically told them we had met on the plane. I didn't know her at all. So, we began to deplane and as I said goodbye, she kept begging me to carry her handbag. I was so torn... but the gentleman looked me in the eye and emphatically shook his head. He passed me a note telling me to let the cabin crew handle her. So, I exit the aircraft and leave my 'new friend' to wait for the wheelchair and be handled by the cabin crew feeling very guilty. As we waited for our luggage to come through, I hear this commotion. My 'new friend' was running, trying to escape the cabin crew, having gotten out of the wheelchair! She left the stewardess with her handbag and just ran towards the exit with the rest of her hand luggage! Luckily the airport police were faster than her. They got hold of her and brought her back in handcuffs. This lady starts calling out to me. my daughter... my daughter! how could you do this to me..... that's when I caught on. She was carrying drugs and she was trying to implicate me! Luckily for me, the gentleman who had helped her with her luggage came forward and told the airport police that me and her had just met on the plane. The police took my passport and asked her to reveal my full names if it was true we were travelling together. By God's grace, I had not even told her my first name! I was still asked to follow the police to a little room where I was questioned extensively. Where did I meet her?... where did I board... where did she board. Etc... And my luggage was extensively searched and dusted for fingerprints. They dusted all her luggage, and my fingerprints were not found anywhere on her luggage or on her handbag! I was let go with advice never ever to touch anyone's luggage either in flight or at the airport. So, from that day, I don't care how much luggage you have, you will deal with it yourself. I will not even offer you a trolley to put your luggage on! Your luggage... your problem.... is my policy. And if you can't reach the overhead compartment, and I am the nearest person, please call the cabin crew because all I will do is give you a blank stare and then look away!
This reminds me of a lady I met through a girlfriend back in the day. The Lady was proposing I deliver a package to China for 100k. I am a teacher and back then that was too much money for me but I sat myself down and thought over the good deal. I decided to eat my peanuts in peace. Mungu we we ni mwema
Thank God that you listened to God's voice. China, Singapore, Indonesia..these three countries don't play. Any narcotics drugs with you, death sentence immediately...they won't even hear stories that it's someone's bag.
When I moved to the UK 🇬🇧 I met a woman who wanted me to take some package for her but my husband warned me not to carry anything for any body that woman has never talked to me again thank God
I love the way she recognizes God in all this & calling the new family in jail "my sisters", this is huge. Lynn thanks for the content, info & change you are bringing to us.
She is so happy and Joyful!! Isn't it amazing to see how the joy of the Lord becomes our strength. God has filled her life with so much grace & joy!! He is such a good God, and it's amazing to see her talk of starting life at 48 like she just turned 18.... I'm so encouraged. There's so much joy in the Lord. It is never too late to start again, to anyone that feels like they are lagging behind in life this is all the encouragement you need. Keep blessing people with your positivity and love for God and may He fulfil all your hearts desires.
Good people are still there I remember when I was caught with drugs in cooperative university and the vice chancellor asked me what do you want and I said a second chance I have never been the same again 😭
Waaa, this reminded me when a friend asked me to go to the job centre in Neasden, as they had discovered she was receiving benefits money whilst working. They had written a letter asking her to present herself but because she didn’t want to cancel her shift, she asked me to go and pretend to be her. She made me believe that it was going to be a quick interview and all I was going to do is sign some paperwork. Prior to that, she cooked for me nice chicken, and we practiced her signature but when I went to sign, they started asking me questions only her would know for instance, what’s your postcode? Job history, etc. The man who was interviewing me went to call his manager who happened to be a white man, and I eventually told them everything. I will remember the mzungu asking me where I come from? He then told me that the reason why they are not going to calling Home Office (immigration) was because I was from Kenya and not Nigeria. My family were very angry upon learning what had happened because I had just came from Kenya and stupidly I agreed to do that. I learned from that day that people can change your destiny, I would have been deported because it was deemed as a crime to forge signature. Things have changed a lot.
Glad you learnt the lesson. I was even getting angry reading your story juu that's so insane. Don't allow anyone to take advantage of your naivety. And hope you ditched that 'friend' because anyone willing to put you in trouble for their comfort is not a friend. That's an enemy
You were not stupid. You were a fraud. You knew what you were doing. Let us stop faking stories to gain sympathy. Most people who get into these sort of crimes knew what they were doing. If you are around a fraudulent person, you will easily know if you are a descent human being.
Beatrice’s Face is a face of hope, of endurance, of resilience and of what God can do . She’s glowing. She’s so pure by just looking at her . Beatrice, am not in a physical jail but going through some personal hardships but your testimonies have give me a desire to keep pursuing and seek the face of God once again. Thank you. One day, I will be back to testify.
Such a beautiful soul, how somebody left this lady is beyond me, it’s so sad that predators will prey on such people and take advantage of the empathy and thoughtful kindness for their personal gain. I am definitely going to reach out to both Beatrice directly and the organisation to see how I can help her and others like her, people like Beatrice really do deserve better, you know who you are and we need to protect them when and where we can
Has anyone noticed that people who go to prison and come out are very much traumatized. But we never pay attention because we have already labelled them criminals. Am looking at Beatrice and seeing a beautiful lady making progress to heal completely. I pray for light in Beatrice's path going forward. Your story will make a difference. Thank you.
Never take a suitcase or bag for anyone, not even your mother, unless mother packs the suitcase in front of you and the suitcase never leaves your sight. Trust no one. Lesson learnt.
Beatrice you are a true prayer warrior. You've come from far away. Your story teaches us not to awake and think of making huge money over night. Let's work hard and earn clean money.
Theres a time I was on transit in Addis Ababa n a Nigerian man approached me to hold his bag so that he can use the washroom n told me that incase the queue moves before he comes back i can cross the checkpoint with it n he would pick it later on the other side, Well before he approached me he was talking to two certain men seemed like they knew each other.. The first thought that crossed my mind was drugs,i declined that shit .. Mayb I could myself in jail in same situation like this lady wuuueh....
Don't ever try to help anybody while traveling, regardless of their age or health status. Someone almost landed in jail for helping an old woman with a luggaage that had drugs. Luckily there were witnesses.
@@cartissbaee why do you say they are beasts? What have Kenyans done for Africans that is good when compared to Nigerians. It is important that some of you put your low self esteem on the side and deal with crime as it is. This Kenyan woman wasn't set up. She knew what she was doing and wanted the money. I have never been against East Africans but from the way some of you are speaking about other Africans since I stumbled on this channel, it appears you hate other Africans. There are more than 4 million Nigerians living in Cameroon and millions of other Africans and we don't find them on a whole dangerous people even though some of them can be dangerous.
Madam it's good you were arrested in Ghana and faced what you faced. If you were arrested in Turkey, your work place, it would have been worse. I love watching ' Banged up abroad ' on DStv and those arrested with drugs serving long sentences under harsh prison environment, listening to your story tells me that you never suffered what others go through in Prisons in South American countries and that of Asian countries like Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand etc. You have come out with a strong mentality and you never forsaken God. You didn't distance yourself from your God and that made the difference. Greetings from Ghana 🇬🇭.
Friends are wicked.. That's why I have a tiny circle of so called friends. Family is everything. Let's keep on learning. Thanks Lynn.. Woiyee she's still traumatized
From here, I have learned that these drug dealers deliberately target people who are innocent; those who will not attract police attention by their looks or behavior. Let's be careful friends. If I was an employer I would give people like Beatrice first priority. She is empathetic, multi talented and rooted in faith.
Last year God saved me from a Nigerian citizen who was studying at USIU ... he wanted me to accommodate him now that he had been ejected from the school hostel. I only later learnt that he was a drug dealer. Guys be very careful.
A drug dealer wants you to accommodate him? So he's not making money from the deals?😂🤣 You Kenyans are so dumb that you think your made up story is believable. Always have to drag Nigerians into your miserable lives.
I'm a Ghanaian and I'm so amazed the ways she speaks well of Ghanaian We are all brothers and sisters and We're supposed to help each other when they are in need.
This story is so touching. I just broke down shedding tears.. May the Lord continue to give you strength Beatrice. Thank you Lord for sustaining Beatrice over the years she was in prison. Love you Beatrice. 🇿🇼💖
Am Ugandan working in Saudi Arabia I have learn a lot from these stories and I have white a song about those people in their one day they will hear that song
Hello guys, am Kofi from Ghana, I like this conversation.. I have friends from Kenya and I have thinking about visiting East Africa,Kenya to be presice. I this issue of drugs is not only Ghana or Nigeria,,, and we all have to learn more and more which people u are dealing with... I love Kenyans... 🇬🇭❤️🇰🇪
Infact if u want to live a good life avoid people calling themselves friends I dont have friends. I love evetyone equally n i hate no one. But i trust No one
I see your point. Human beings can betray your trust. Let me introduce you to a good friend who you can trust. He is reliable, dependable and accepts your as you are without judging you. His name is Jesus Christ. Are you aware that Jesus Christ loves you very much and deeply cares about you? Please consider inviting Jesus into your life as your Lord and personal Saviour♥️❤️
My fellow Kenyans, We need to look over our shoulders much often as you know things have changed. We trust people too much. This is why we find ourselves in problems like the one this lady is narrating. Immagine going through all that for a crime you never knew anything about. Iam really afraid of being caught in such a situation. May God protect all innocent people being caught in such situations.
WHAT A LADY 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🙏 I’m totally impress as a Rwandan 🇷🇼 in Kigali/ RWD….GOD favored U, use his power for others… Kenya/ Nairobi that I grew in; in EAST AFRICA TO WEST AFRICA, they might be a new victims as U that you can warn in prayers.. BE BLESSED 👏🏾🙏
God uses situations to transform our lives. Powerful story. On folks stereotyping Nigerians & Ghanaians it is absolutely wrong.. we have bad people & not bad countries in Africa, Kenya not exempted.. Well done Lynn!
You are told take this bag with drugs and you will be paid, Where is the betrayal? Why put the blame on loneliness? She worries about losing her hair when drugs make people lose lives, sanity and livelihoods. This story is not about bad friends, there was a desire to make extra money. This fuels stereotypes about people from certain African countries. Next time someone else will be thoroughly searched because of this.
Sorry you had to go through such betrayal and tough times. May God protect all of us from evil persons, may He grant us the wisdom to discern danger. May the Lord guide our steps in all our endeavours in Jesus's name. Amen and Amen 👋. Gifty from Ghana 🇬🇭
No one is mentioning the fact that she is one very very beautiful woman!! Wow what a story! She's bound for greatness and I'm here for it. You got this mami! 💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿
Someone going through darkness just to come out this positive is nothing but a miracle. She even look much younger than her actual age. Let God keep doing miracles to you. You are lovely.
I’ve now seen the difference between a person who’s been accepted back by their loved ones after release from incarceration and one that hasn’t. It’s like day and night. May God help us all to make the right decision if this situation was to visit our homes.
I love Beatrice's energy. I wish her well in all that she plans to do impacting the society. God always works through people. He worked through Beatrice for sure.
Oh.. Beatrice, you're such a strong woman💪 ,may the lord continue using you to change people's lives, actually I learned more through your testimony and experience.
Actually they say in my language you don't count your wounds before death and you don't swear prison before death too, those two can happen to you any time
This is a huge lesson for everyone. At our lowest and vulnerable times we can fall in the wrong hands. I also appreciate her accountability of her part of the issue. Wish her the best. Im glad the Ghanaian prison treated her well. Powerful Woman of God!! God bless her always💜
No one can stand to judge another because each one of us is in a prison of sorts. May God help us to accept that inner voice that tells us `you are free`.
Amen.
Being in a foreign country is hard I can imagine the pain of being in a prison in a foreign land,,, found myself tearing up,,, God have mercy on us 😊😊😊
Thanks for this ..in my community they normally say two things you can't swear are "counting your wounds" you're not beautiful until you die because you can have an accident and become crippled...two you can't swear on prison because anybody's mistake can lead you to jail" not necessarily your own mistakes, you can be manipulated...
Very sad buh educative and motivational. My Grandfather told me something he said "EVERYTHING THAT HAPPENED TO YOU IN LIFE, HAPPENES IN A PARTICULAR REASON" whether good or bad, and very used to that,,, is life, lets live it,,, love you guys...
When passengers are asked at the check-in to confirm if they 1,packed the bags themselves or if they are aware of the contents in the bags, pple take that for granted, in fact we are given answers with so much attitude... Good Work Lynn.
sorry, I once heard some fellow passenger pick a fight with the attendant for asking question he reffered as silly questions... We left him at the airport
All the "silly" questions are usually meant to protect both parties. The security questions are to be as simple as possible but at the same time achieve the objective.By the end of the day most times than not 'kikulacho kii nguoni'
Am happy glad, she is at peace, this has got me emotional, Why am i tearing up????Listening to her and remembering many stories from " Saga Prison stories"Am thinking of many behind bars, am battling mixed emotions.
Lessons: (1) Go on vacation with your own money (as we say in Jamaica "freeness is never good".) (2) Trust no one 100% except Jesus Christ. (3) Always look out for your best interests - because no one else will do so. Thank God she made it through. God bless. 🙏🏽
@@josephinemulama6338 so why did Jesus instruct us to fast? Why did Jesus himself fast? 🙄 of course mercy works, but you need to fight for your own destiny. Go tell someone who has been imprisoned falsely how that mercy allowed evil to happen to them and didn’t stop the false accusations, go tell people whose families have died prematurely about that mercy, ALL THAT CAN BE HALTED by prayer and fasting. The fervent prayer of the righteous man avails much!!!!
I hope we kenyans can improve our prisons so that someone will one day talk how good our prisons are.thanks Ghana for taking care of prisoners in such good way.
Hello, good morning Lynn and our guest today . Thank you, we really learn alot on this show . I have come to realize many friends in our lives are actually frenemies . Very few are friends . Stay blessed 🙏
Waaooh, Beatrice I love your spirit...gone through a lot and still very strong.... actually I know you...as my customer... very cheerful and always smiling..💞💞
Agnes, don't fear because what you fear most happen to u eventually. Read Job, he says what he feared most is what happened to him eg getting sick, losing his kids, losing all his wealth etc. That's why the bible say, thou shall not fear, trust in God and cast your burdens to him. The spirit that God has given us is not a spirit of fear.
You are a strong woman. You are beautiful and healing is a process. Allow yourself to go through the process. To even talk about what you went through you are strong. Kudos gal. Again Lynn thank you for this amazing story
People keep telling me that I like to isolate myself,im not dealing with any mental problem but I don't want friends, I just want to be,betrayal is real,I Learned a lesson I can never have a friend again, the trauma is still fresh

Always tell them to leave their luggage with the security guard for safety purposes, see how quick they will run from you 😂😂😂😂😂
You acted wisely
@@christinendolo 🤣🤣

Wee heri wewe I don't have any circle
The problem is that ladies really love and trust their friends.
But money is also tempting, lack of self control is the poison

@Empressnyaboke that tiny circle is a circle I have known for more than 20yrs😂😂.. Anyway not everyone who is bad some are heavens sent

From here, I have learned that these drug dealers deliberately target people who are innocent; those who will not attract police attention by their looks or behavior. Let's be careful friends. If I was an employer I would give people like Beatrice first priority. She is empathetic, multi talented and rooted in faith.
But they are likely to be detected and then jailed
Thank you for airing this and raising awareness on easy money.
Have you people noticed how well she speaks of Ghanian prison? Hope the same could be said of Kenyan prisons
We still have a long way to go
In some cases, policemen In kenya take advantage of women while they are still in custody..

I dont have friends.
Thank you Lynn and your team for educational stories we learn from the stories everyday God bless you
There is 1970s movie based on a true story called Midnight Express about an American who was busted with drugs in Turkey. That place is hell.

It's not stereotypes.

History repeats itself. This betrayal and imprisonment is like that of Joseph in the bible. May the Lord keep on using you.
I’ve now seen the difference between a person who’s been accepted back by their loved ones after release from incarceration and one that hasn’t.
It’s like day and night.

Being in a foreign country is hard I can imagine the pain of being in a prison in a foreign land,,, found myself tearing up,,, God have mercy on us 😊😊😊
Ghana is not a foreign land but an African country jeez
How can a African be a foreigner in Africa just stupid Talking sad when black African don’t know them history know them self 👀😭
How can an African be a foreigner in Africa 👀
God bless. 🙏🏽
Jesus is a myth before he was mythically born
Well said
Never carry anything for anyone when you are traveling. Not even from or for family and friends.
Those 12:00 am prayers helped you, also the 40 day fast.
Lesson: stay on the straight and narrow, avoid short cuts in life.
It's the mercy of God that worked even the devil fasts, even witches pray but living God answers genuine prayers
Ohhhhh yes and it's working up to date prayers prayers is my food

Agnes, don't fear because what you fear most happen to u eventually. Read Job, he says what he feared most is what happened to him eg getting sick, losing his kids, losing all his wealth etc. That's why the bible say, thou shall not fear, trust in God and cast your burdens to him. The spirit that God has given us is not a spirit of fear.
