Once the letter writer has uploaded/sent it to Interfolio and we complete this process exactly as you've shown, does the letter writer have to send/do anything else or is this process/ the rest after they send the letter to Interfolio strictly between AACOMAS and Interfolio?
No other action is needed from you or your letter writer. Give AACOMAS couple days and it will have a green check mark next to the LOR name under Evaluations. From what I can remember, it was 3-4 days.

How do I upload a recommendation letter on SOPHAS?
in my processed aacomas application there is no organization name for each of the letters i sent through interfolio. how will schools be able to distinguish a science letter vs a physician letter sent to aacomas through interfolio?
@Pritish Sahoo So the letters are sent from interfolio to AACOMAS without the need of the letter authors further action correct? So the only thing that the professor who wrote the letter needs to do is upload it to interfolio and then Interfolio will send it to AACOMAS?

AAACOMAS now has a survey form for recommenders to fill out along with the letters, but using Interfolio we are only submitting the letters, not the survey form. So is using Interfolio still okay?
Hi Sam, I did not know about the survey forms. I used Interfolio last cycle and it worked out for me thankfully. I would recommend asking the individual school directly and see what they say about Interfolio. If I had known that there is a survey out there, then I would have made sure that using Interfolio is ok before resorting to that. From what I could tell though (purely my opinion here), mcat & gpa lands you the interview. The interview is to check on your personality. I think rest of the application is important, but not as important as people hype it up to be.
Hi there, hope you see this. So basically we can't add in that email thingy until your references upload their letter to interfolio right? My letter writers won't be done until early July, so does this mean I will basically submit my AACOMAS without entering anything into the evaluations section?
Hi Bryan, it's been a while since I used interfolio so I am not completely sure about this answer, but from what I remember, I think you can still do the "email thingy" and interfolio will send the letter once it is uploaded.
But I could be grossly wrong lol. Best to call Interfolio and ask about that.

Neman Kalanawe yep that’s correct. You have to pay that annual fee. It’s not free.
I followed this exact procedure for the AMCAS application a few weeks ago when I submitted my application, but as of now AMCAS still says the letters were not received. Do you know if it is sufficient, or will I need to re-submit using the "Find an opportunity" button that you mentioned? Please and thank you for your help!

You don’t have to wait. The letter writers can submit it to interfolio at anytime

@@PritishSahoo I've sent my LORs from interfolio and now on interfolio the "sent deliveries" status is coming up as "cancelled" but when I download the receipt it says it was delivered. I am just so confused on how interfolio works.
@@thesharmatriplets1363 Thats really weird. On your interfolio dashboard, it should say 'uploaded'. If you want, you can email me a screenshot of what you are seeing - pritishsahoo50@gmail.com. I can also send you a screenshot of what I see on my dashboard.
Can you delete these requests on AACOMAS application after the LOR has been uploaded to the website by interfolio?
It's been a while since I used AACOMAS and Interfolio so I don't remember any more. Best to call Interfolio and/or AACOMAS about that.

@@PritishSahoo Sorry if I asked that incorrectly. I noticed your letters of recommendation are for ACCOMAS which is a college for Osteopathic medicine. However, I am applying to a Cal State University for a Graduate Program, would I do the same steps for the CalApply Website?
@@monsebabyy oh ok. This should work for your grad school applications too. Just have your recommenders upload it to interfolio and then you can enter the email address like I showed in the video for the grad school application.
