I really like how after looping back to the start of the conversation, Siffrin's new response to Odile's accusation is "Maybe, teehee!". Sounds a lot more like something Loop would say than Siffrin...
"Why don't I want you to help me?" In a game full of stellar (ha!) writing, this line is genuinely unnerving, and left me rattled more than any other. You can't tell if they're asking Odile, or themselves. Coupled with the portraits, the lack of any grammatical flourish, it's the briefest instant of self-introspection, a moment's lapse in their encroaching mania before they double down. It's a knife to the heart.
Yeah, I also think that its unnerving how there are visual glitches whenever Odile tries to talk during that part. It's as if Odile is actually saying something but Siffrin doesn't hear it. Similar to how there are rewind glitches whenever Siffrin tries to remember her childhood but cant.
Whoa, i was never able to get this interaction. I wondered if she would catch on eventually. I guess i just didnt interact with objects in the house the right way. Anyone know how to trigger this event?
There is a video on it call "ISAT suspicious quest" or something like that. The video has more triggers than there are actually needed to flag this event but the comments have sorted out the unnecessary ones!
@@waywardh9528I feel like explaining for anyone who comes along. Basically you need to get enough “weird” points. These can be seen to be activated with a noise queue, but not every one of them necessarily give points (ex. The croissant does the sound, but doesn’t give a point) and some give more than one. You need at least 15 of these points and if you interact with everything it’s pretty easy to get enough. Along with that you need to interact with every single Time/Wish Craft book/event so Odile knows what Time and Wish Craft is. At that point this event will activate (and is only possible in Act 4 of course)
@@waywardh9528 basically, to boil it down (based solely on my own experience): -do the secret quest with odile and interact with the check-out list in the secret library (i have no clue if this is required at all, but i feel like it’s important, considering it’s one of the very few suspicious things that you do that odile comments on) -interact with already acquired equipment until odile comments on it (i interacted with everything, but i don’t think that’s necessary) -interact with all of the books on time and wish craft (i think? it might just be time craft tho) -finally, just do a bunch of suspicious stuff, such as interacting with the book about shields after mirabelle already knows the shield skill (i dont know how many you need to interact with [When your party is suspicious of you, your screen will briefly flash dark, and a distinct sound effect will play.] you know you’re on the right track if odile is consistently suspect of you during each snack time. at the last snack time she should say something along the lines of “do you have anything to tell me?”
@@arbikiuszelemelek3347 I'm not so sure cuz a lot of the other text runs by pretty fast as well, I'm sure it does auto advance with some but I've seen other videos where it was on screen for much longer than it was in this video

which makes sense...in context of who loop actually is

O: ARE YOU IN A FUCKING TIME LOOP SIFFRIN??
Nuh uh
@@Siffing805 O: Understandable have a great day
I misread that as "Q:" like it's in Siffrin's FAQ or something

A: NO SHUT UP

I adore how “Isn’t It Over?” plays in the conversation

Oh wow this event is amazing…
I'm so excited to play this game. I clearly don't value my own happiness.
so this is the game those characters from a mario 64 mod came from, interesting
What

What Mario 64 mod do you speak of-
@@Not_Alanius Oh, there was one mod for the Online ver of Mario 64, and i didnt know where they came from.
Maybe, teehee~!
Jeez slow down with the text, you skip through it like half a second after it comes on screen
Im pretty sure that when characters start panicking etc. It skips by itself
but its been a long while since I played so I might be wrong
