Hate to hear you didn’t get to workout with Branch, I was looking forward to the video...I trained back with Branch several years ago in KC..he is strong as an Ox, we had deep conversations on Guns, Government, and Idiots...On his flight to KC he sat next to a Military guy in Uniform and he thought, ‘’Cool, someone I can talk with’’...the Military Guy got drunk and threw up on Branch....you will love training with Branch, intense training, he’s very motivating, down to earth a man who loves his Country. I look forward to you and Luke’s Podcast, it’s two Pro Bodybuilders who love the sport, talking like two Best Friends and give out great info.
Thanks for being honest about kidney issue. I do recommend getting Cystatin C tested because I had it tested and it returned > 90 eGFR compared to around 60 from Creatinine/BUN calculation. Not to say you should ignore the Creatinine/BUN. Interestingly for me, a low protein and calorie detox diet seems to increase my Creatinine - perhaps due to muscle atrophy. Also Lisinopril seems to raise Creatinine (not a reason to stop it if you need it for blood pressure).
I think an overlooked plus, not just bodybuilding, but dieting and creating goals in fitness, is the discipline. That side of things have a very positive Side effect to life. It makes you more organised. You have to manage a lot and have a lot of self discipline. Great staple diet for life :)
for my inexperienced 2 cents, low intensity cardio is actually really great for stimulating the metabolism and keeping the food moving. and the theory behind doing it after training is that the muscle glycogen has been spent during the training so it would be targeting fat stores, especially when you take carnitine and such. could be totally wrong, but that's been my theory and i've never seen it interfere with size. i mean if you overdo it in contest prep you'll ruin your leg definition, but like stairs in the off season how you do i think is great. killer fucking episode!!!
Question for next week. Natural bodybuilder looking tondo first show. How much of a caloric surplus should be taken in during off season? How long would you prep for? 12 or 16 weeks. Thanks guys

Normally I don't like it because it's too much of a fetisj but with how uncomfortable Aluminium man is, yes. However, make sure the content per package is somewhat equal. You could also track the amount per bite and such variables to make it even stranger. - Bear / duck: Luke would be able to survive the tiny bears. Its horrid but there are lots of options to immobilize them within a timely manner. - Cardio lean bulking: Not as a measure to reduce calories, for all the other important benefits, absolutely. - First meal: In my opinion, the digestive system should be given a rest every single day. Although the nitrogen balance is positive, it is beneficial for your body to excrete all the junk buildup that is accumulated through an almost constant fed state. Think of this, when a body is insuline resistent, less of the nutrients are being directed towards where we want them to be. A sensitive or non resistive environmentis able to yield the results we are working for. If you have the time watch some of the content on the channel 'low carb down under'. It is about keto / low carb but the science behind if may very well benefit you. - Ghost boxing / kicking: Attention seekers. Had an argument with the guy because he was doing it in a crowded area, and afterwards he was very friendly. - Talkative people: When it's time to do my set: 'I'm sorry, I'll respond after I have completed my set.' I am really happy that you guys as professionals of the sport are actually taking the time to behave friendly. I really appreciate that. Thanks again. 😁
Finally, the long wait was totally worth it! Fouad, you are a UA-cam celebrity, you have us hooked and have to be more frequent 😁 The loser of the challenge has to go waxing like Brian Shaw had to when he lost to his wife. And Luke has his duck preferences messed up, the ducks can be the size of a bear cub so if they are in a grown up mentality in a vicious state they will tear you up in no time. Even 5 of those small ones would be enough to take a non armed person down. Had a great laugh, thanks guys!!!
Feeder sets, i was doing that on incline d,press, 8 reps, then i reached that point wherei could not pass 4 reps on a given weight, what i did then was to do 2 warm up and 1 working set on the smiths, then i would do 6 reps on d,press, starting 4 sets below max, hell yeah...what happens...max for 6 then next set up the d,bells and got 5 good presses on a new max... i would like to think it came down to shocking the body and believing it would work... plan is to do 2 weeks on smiths then d,bells, then do d,bell with feeders again going back up to the 8 to 10 reps
foo my egfr was 37 I took a kidney cleaning product from france its now 81 and ive been on for 9 months , it got it to over 60 after a week on that product. im 53 and started gear in 1987 been competing since 1988. I own a gym 6 miles from kings gym uk .

My 19 year old cat went to the vet close to kidney failure. I said we have nothing to lose . I scaled down dosage 2 months later she is still here eating going outside. Looking good . My girlfriend went to a seminar from that lab . They are very impressive. As you can imagine we are into natural remedies. Anyway good luck with kidneys by the way I'm vegetarian and live on 300 grams of whey protein a day and 4 eggs .mainly scitec unflavoured .its crazy but works for me. Great show. X

Yeah I've done aminos with cardio and before and after and none at all and never noticed a difference except I feel more hydrated when I use them before but I hold fat easy so for me it's better to not use aminos
@fouad when will you bring Dr Dean on podcast? Btw if you do lots of reps with your feeder sets you are wasting your energy which you could use for working sets .
Having worked with exotic animals in the past Luke would die a painful slow death. I worked with brown bears and Grizzlie Cubs. They are smart and very tenacious.

Lol not that this matters in any way, but I make homemade pizzas often and I calculated out how much protein from just a dough, sauce, and cheese pizza and the dough had WAY more protein than you think from just the plain all purpose flower... then plus the cheese

Total War pre-workout has 350 mg of caffeine. Fuaid's has 300 mg. Essentially they're the same from a stimulant aspect
