great vid bro and good idea you putting out race dates i wanna race as much as i can but i doent know all the tracks like u do and when they running so that would definatly help allot of peopple bro great vid keep it going bro
Yeah I have a fs gt2b I was on a budget when I got it but im definitely not changing it it just works perfectly and the grips are good but im glad you got a chance because you can't stick with the same thing forever
Nice an we have so much stuff when we need it cant find it until we dont need it but nats are at lcrc june 17to 20th i plan on hitting that race so hopefully all is good an we can link up again
@@rajaa111 yes we need to race again an you said you going back to barn right so we can hook up there as well with me not working weekends i have more time to race cause next yr my son going to college so going to see how that goes when we get to that bridge
Nice job bro. Great looking radio, I just got one too. Christmas gift to myself 😀 If you didn’t already know you can use that thumb wheel knob up on the front right edge of radio if touchscreen is an issue. Also the lanyard bracket I had to use that foam they give otherwise it rattled around to much. That’s one small thing I wish they did better. My mt44 was way better for that. But it’s minor. The battery, and maybe CJ had more experience with this, but I’m trying to decide between the stock one or upgraded version Lipo. The battery tray is screwed on vs just slip off like the others. Allowing you to charge without removing battery, and also utilizing wireless charging. But I haven’t been able to use the radio yet being winter here. Great idea about promoting races from all across the country. That’s a great service to the hobby bro. Peace
My man, thanks brotha, I haven’t heard of any issues with the upgraded lipo battery cj uses it all the time and he has no complaints says it last forever, I feel you on the winter cold we freeze here also but I will be getting some track time soon with the radio and will give a update on how it was
Brotha, definitely get the upgraded battery. The battery cover is not loose so I don’t use the screw and it stays on no issues. I even took a spill down in FL with the radio in hand and battery cover didn’t move. On a three day race weekend I’ll charge the 5500 (upgrade battery) the night before I’ll use all practice day and qualifying day and then top it off that 2nd night for mains day. Don’t even think I’d have to but better safe then sorry. And that’s running 2 cars for those days. So with it lasting that long I don’t mind having to take it out when I do charge it.
@@rajaa111 which ones where you using? I've been using r304sb an the r304sb-e for ebug. It has no antenna. But I'll had the first two for over a year or so. No problems, never heard anyone have problems with futaba. We're yours not HV rated? Coulda been the problem. But anyway , looking forward to seeing u at phil hurd bro
Did you have your setting on the futaba on t-fhss high speed instead of normal? I just read that high speed options is only for futaba brushless servo only and may cause damage to the servo. Could that be the reason your receiver blowing out?
@@916vp yes they were on normal, I read about that also, but I always ran brushless digital servos and no matter what setting it was on the receivers would still go out
Thats whats up glad you doing good an safe peace
Have you tried the wireless charger MOD?
Can you make a video on that xt90 receiver battery hookup you got going on please. I think people would like to do it that way if explained right
You got
use a servo extention, cut the negative and run each of the cut ends to the terminals on the plug. negative disconnect just like the big rigs

Not a screen protector for use, screen protector for assembly and package protection. Peel that off, its satisfying.
That one I took off, they give you one like a cell phone screen saver, you apply it just like the cell phone one
Like that tool stand.. hahahaha you doing it bro.. good shit
Thanks brotha
Ok see you baught that M17 I just bought one myself
Congrats, we can learn how to work this radio together, so far i like it, wish I could get some track time with it
Not perfect, but still the best radio.
