    For some weird reason I cheered when you showed that the monitor arm worked perfectly at 6:34

    Bro I got it for $16US!!! It's currently on amazon for 30 and I got a coupon for it. Definitely a steal; currently waiting on my 1440p monitor and the arm to arrive. Can't wait.

    I believe in general clamp ON monitor mounting systems are worth using if your monitor supports VESA mounting. They give you a couple benefits first one is being able to raise the monitor to eye level. Which in turn puts less strain on your neck compared to using the stock stand that's included with a monitor. The second benefit it gives your desk that clean look and gives you much more space on the desk itself.

    That same single monitor arm is now priced at $99.97 CND/$79.98 USD. The Canadian one features a $15.00 coupon, as of Dec. 7th, 2022.

    I can’t get the monitor arm to stay in any position even after using the allen key in that spot properly. It just comes right back up to of position any tips?

    I have heard that the tilt function starts to loosen over time and the monitor will point downward slightly even with the screws tightened. Have you found this issue with either of your stands?

    • @ghost-user559
      @ghost-user559 Рік тому

      Yes. From day one. But my monitor was probably too heavy despite being within the limits.

    Hi! I just bought this product but it seems not possible to rotate from landscape view to portrait. How do you adjust to make it possible?

    • @Bicoo
      @Bicoo  2 роки тому +1

      Hello! for me it was able to just rotate normally by grabbing the monitor and twisting it (like at 6:00). If that isn't possible for you, perhaps there is someting that needs to be loosened with the allen key that was provided!

    Yoo, how much do your monitors weigh? I am looking for a monitorarm for a rather heavy monitor which comes in at around 8.9 kg or roughly 20 lbs. Do you think the arm can handle the weight comfortably? I know its advertised as up to 26 lbs but you never know

    • @Bicoo
      @Bicoo  3 роки тому +1

      My VX2758-2KP-MHD is listed at 11.6 lbs and my and V277U is listed at 11.9 lbs, give or take a pound or so it still will not equal to your 20 lbs monitor haha so I can't give you an answer based on personal experience. However! In my personal opinon you still have quite a bit of room between 20 lbs and 26 lbs. I'm fairly certain you will be fine.

    • @antonfl
      @antonfl 3 роки тому

      @@Bicoo thanks for the quick answer!! I just ordered one and will just try it out. Also how is the V277U? Is it worth the money? was considering it as a secondary monitor

    • @Bicoo
      @Bicoo  3 роки тому

      @@antonfl No worries, I am sure it will be fine. Absolute worst case scenario you can just get a refund! :) And for the V277U, it works great as a secondary monitor. I mean after all, it is only just a secondary monitor so I don't spend enough time staring at it to notice any major flaws. It does what it is meant to do! haha

    What size is your monitor? Would it be possible for you to measure the distance between the bottom of the monitor to the desk with the arm lowered and tell me?

    • @Bicoo
      @Bicoo  3 роки тому

      Both monitors are 27". Sorry, I am slightly confused as to your second question, If I have the arm lowered then there would be no distance between the bottom of the monitor and the desk. Because when I lower the arm the bottom of my monitor touches my desk! hopefully that answers your question! If not, feel free to clarify! :)

    Really cheap monitor arms, and they have no competitor on that subject. But details like the quality of the clamp and its grip are necessary to keep in mind. Humanscale Furniture has a Monitor Arms the highest quality. Available in Manhattan Office Design.

    Why don't buy a double hydraulic support?

    • @Bicoo
      @Bicoo  2 роки тому

      Good question, at 0:28 I explain why I buy two singles instead of a single dual. Essentially, because my desk is agaisnt the wall its going to poke into the wall.
