It’s irritating how most of the comments concentrating on the hijab not her voice. People, she sings. she’s neither a model nor an angel. It’s not her fault your expectations were so high. I’m a Muslim and I believe that hijab is a must. Also, as a muslim I know that I should only say good and if I won’t I shall not speak cause that’s what my religion has taught me. we don’t know anything about her other than what she shows us on social media. It’d be really nice if you respect her decision because if you loved her then it’ll be because of her voice not her beauty.

@Gary That western lifestyle most muslims nowadays follow is the result of the world's wrong value system that associate beauty with hair and showing more skin, and the belief that the ideal self is the extraverted sociable with the other gender, and the opposite is seen as shy and complex and that it's the wrong way to go. So unless a muslim studies the reasons behind something being forbidden, that it's a small step towards a greater sin, and that the sinner's soul is a sad one that doesn't find happiness, they would do it anyway. It seems that we humans don't know what's good for us, we don't live life but we let it happen to us, so if we live in a muslim environment (including social media) we act like muslims and if we don't we don't; until the day the consequences of our actions smash our face, if we are lucky enough to see it; while we could have been wiser to just learn it from someone else who went through the same thing.

I unsubscribed immediatly once i found out that you took the hijab off. I still think your a beautifull human being and a great singer, but now your just a dime a dozen, a star amongst stars. You looked more beautifull in the scarf because you showed that beauty is not the same as sexy, its more than that. She is an artist ,a singer . You do not sympathize a singer because of something she wears but because of her voice ,so obviously you are not a true fan. The hijab was not her signature it was her faith which is something entirely personal and concerns only her.

I think I understand why you don't wear your hibab anymore and it's not because you're giving in to the criticisms even though that may have been a contributing factor. This is the way I see it and perhaps I'm wrong. The intended purpose of a hibab is to maintain modesty. For you, in the world you find yourself performing with your lovely voice, the hibab did the opposite. It made you stand out and it brought out your beauty even more than your hair does and I say that as a Christian man who has no cultural affinities for women with hibabs. By wearing your hair instead of your hibab, you are being modest in the environment you perform. I respect that even though I do miss the way your eyes shine so deeply when you wear it.

I unsubscribed immediatly once i found out that you took the hijab off. I still think your a beautifull human being and a great singer, but now your just a dime a dozen, a star amongst stars. Before you were like the sun, when the sun comes up all the stars dissapear, even the moon. You looked more beautifull in the scarf because you showed that beauty is not the same as sexy, its more than that. Everything GOD made precious HE coverd and made it hard to find, Gold, diamonds, oil, pearls etc. I heard that women wearing scarfs emanate a light that GOD sees. I think I understand why you don't wear your hibab anymore and it's not because you're giving in to the criticisms even though that may have been a contributing factor.
This is the way I see it and perhaps I'm wrong. The intended purpose of a hibab is to maintain modesty. For you, in the world you find yourself performing with your lovely voice, the hibab did the opposite. It made you stand out and it brought out your beauty even more than your hair does and I say that as a Christian man who has no cultural affinities for women with hibabs.
By wearing your hair instead of your hibab, you are being modest in the environment you perform. I respect that even though I do miss the way your eyes shine so deeply when you wear it.
