it will last 1 hour lol.. axles too small steering aint enough engine too weak.. thats prob why he has the skinnys on it cause it wouldnt turn the boggers it came with on the side lol
Jake your not gonna find “The Right” Ford 6.0 Power-stroke instead you’ll find yourself a headache. If 16k is your range you can easily find a sick and actually reliable, Cummins or Duramax.
Jake man you need to bring back the yellow bangin sweatshirt I grew out of it but that thing was nice I hope you read this comment and make it, its nice man
Jake needs to buy a Honda oddessy and Honda Pilot swap in 1000cc street bike engines. Endless content for him and pat. Drag racing, mudding, track riding dirt or street, ice with studs
Jake, you’ll hear a lot of haters on the 6.0. I’ve personally have been around 3 that have made it past 220,000 miles stock. By then, both had injectors go out so we decided to bulletproof them while we were at it. I can explain the logistics of it for you if you want, but for now I’ll just lay out what you need to do if you get one and are wanting it to truly be a million mile lasting truck. First, buy a STOCK truck for less than 10k. People have lots of different ideas of what bulletproofing means so might as well have it done yourself. Go to the OG, bulletproof diesel, to see what “bulletproofed” truly means. Install, bulletproof external air-to-oil cooler, bulletproof egr cooler, ARP headstuds, reinforced bulletproof heads, bulletproof ficm, bulletproof water pump, 6.4 lifters, 4” exhaust, aftermarket exhaust headers, blue spring kit, aftermarket intercooler and tubing kit, and a bulletproof diesel radiator. If you want to keep it stock, keep it on mild tunes. Make sure to flush coolant at least once a year if you have a stock oil cooler. OEM injectors provide daily drivability and can still handle 500+ hp. Stock trans can handle quite a bit. I’d recommend warren diesel if you want an aftermarket trans. Especially if towing with tunes, install an egt gauge. Also good to monitor fuel pressure with tunes. Any questions on what I’ve said feel free to let me know and I’ll respond. Vids are great have a great day bud
This is terrible advice. You need to find one that has long been bullet proofed. Do not buy one stock. I got fucked hard on the piece of shit 6.0. I loved the truck but if it hasn't been insanely maintained and bullet proofed early in its life do not buy.
@@parhammotorsports6125 Why find one that has long been bulletproofed? It doesn’t make a difference in the health of the engine whether or not it’s been bulletproofed. In my experience half the people out there think throwing a set of headstuds in them means bulletproofing. Stock, these engines really aren’t bad especially the 05+. Biggest thing is oil changes and flushing coolant. Every truck has it cons and these aren’t perfect. Earlier duramax’s had injector issues and the independent front suspension doesn’t hold up too good. Dodges would blow away if they didn’t have an engine in them. I like my fords and yeah they have there issues but the 6.0 is blown out of proportion. Keep your coolant flushed to keep your oil cooler from plugging up. If oil cooler plugs then the EGR cooler is getting insufficient flow and will blow. If you’re towing hot and heavy or running a tune, your head gaskets might go. What issues did you have with your truck?
@@asher7680 they damage themselves not being bullet proofed. You are just wrong my man. Even with good maintenance. They need to be bullet proofed from pretty low miles or don't touch them. Especially being this old now. They are good engines for power but they are terribly made from factory. Also it doesn't matter if someone doesn't know what bullet proofing is. As long as you know it's easy to spot. also I've had multiple 6.0s. Look into my channel you will see me doing a 0 to 60 with one. There are just much better built trucks out there for the money. Could the 6.0 be decent with the right owner sure but barely. But most people didn't know how to take care of them anyway.
@@parhammotorsports6125 Maybe your thinking of a 6.4. A 6.0 will not harm itself being stock. Sure, if your pushing it really hard it may break down. I know a guy that is over a million miles with his. Also, you didn’t answer my question, what issues has your truck had specifically? What exactly damages itself on the 6.0 when stock?
@@parhammotorsports6125 Also, to address bulletproofing being easy to spot, you can see if it has headstuds and an external air to oil cooler. You can also see if it has a bulletproof ficm. What you can’t see is the egr cooler, whether or not the heads are o-ringed and reinforced, or the lifters on it.
Bro, i was thinkin what would be bangin, is if a new catorgy of car crushing but for trucks this size. it would be actually challanging instead of the tire size BKT monster jam tires.
Do yourself a favour and stay away from those dam 6.0 diesels. Unless your looking for a empty wallet and a massive headache don’t do it brother. Better off going down a few years and finding a 7.3 a Cummins or a Duramax. Love the road trip keep up the great videos!!
