dont get a dummy to fix it, make sure to check the u- joints, as the vibration under load is probably what broke it and is most likely from a bad or seizing u-joint, at least thats all i can say without looking at it lol. i know my shit if you need advice, used to run the "lil barnstormer" mud truck.
That's called a fucked transfer case not a drive shaft
@@andrewstartek5846 yeah, ik, guy i know of grenaded 3 transfer cases till he realized a u-joint was siezed causing it. he was an idiot but still it happens

That part of the tie rod is split on purpose it’s called the adjusting sleeve, that’s how you set your toe for alignment. If it was solid you’d have no adjustment.
My 83 ranger has the same way to adjust

Thats a badass truck. I just built mine. You need to put hydrologic steering for the front end. Psc makes a kit for it.

That split piece of metal is what trailing arm suspension looks like, it's threaded on the inside. It's how you adjust your front toe, loosen the clamps then spin the metal. Nothing to worry bout
