I'm not gonna lie, I forgot I was listening to a cover and thought it was the actual song. Spot on dude!

Thats real good. Could you maybe do an in depth tutorial on this particular setup?

My Softube demo license expired lol. The way I did it is I got the Amp Room trial from Softube and opened it up in Reaper, pulled in 3 plexis and 3 cabs (Marshall 1960s I think) and just played around with the settings. I had to turn them up a little higher than they are in the Rig Rundown video. Also I changed one of the cabs out for a different one and I think used a different mic setting for one of them. Play around with the inputs on the plexis too (they have 4 inputs). I had one of them straight into the top left input, one jumped and one only in the lower left input. Blend high and low gain together and play around with some EQ. You can probably get better results than I did if you spend some time on it. gl

@@enten161 What EQ settings will get me in this ball park? Is there any general "formular" to set your EQ on?
Edit: Also, thanks for your reply. It's really helpful! :)
Edit: Also, Also: My recordings often seem to be low quality which I really can't explain. Like it's too loud, which it really shouldn't. And my gear isn't that bad I guess. I play a Gibson LPJ into my Scarlett solo.

@@GuitarFabi I'll try to remember the setup. So like I said I was running 3 Marshall 1959SLP in parallel through one cab each. Keep in mind that this will be useless unless you're using Softube Amp Room Marshall Edition, I've tried other amp sims and followed tutorials and none of them sounded any good to me. Highly recommend just getting the free trial. Also, since GD's plexis are modified, it really is key to run 3 of them together. I don't think there's any magical EQ formula that will get you that sound but I'm no audio engineer. I think the only way to REALLY get anywhere near that sound is to fully recreate their actual setup with 2 modded plexis and record them properly
AMP 1 - top left channel only (you change the channel by just clicking on the inputs on the amp)
      presence - noon
      bass - 10
      mid - 7
      treble - 4
loudness 1 - 6 (play around with the loudness knobs, I don't remember exactly)
      loudness 2 - noon
AMP 2 - top left input with jumper cable from bottom left to top right
      presence - noon
      bass - 10
      mid - 7
      treble - noon
      loudness 1 - 6
      loudness 2 - 4
AMP 3 - top or bottom left input only
      presence - noon
      bass - 10
      mid - noon
      treble - noon
      loudness 1 - noon
      loudness 2 - 6-7
Then I added the built in hardware EQ to the end of the chain and just added some more lows, low mids and some specific high frequencies until it sounded good enough.
I used a Harley Benton with an SH-4 pickup and a Scarlett 2i2 so it should be similar sound wise I guess. I have issues with low quality once I start my recording but it turned out alright once I double tracked it and put the song over it. It just lacks the clarity I want, for some reason. I don't have much experience with this and I've never played/recorded any high quality amps so I don't have the solution unfortunately. All I can tell you is make sure your input level on your interface stays in the green and your input and output levels on your amp sim and in your DAW are all good. I would upload my isolated guitars but I can't because I stupidly didn't export them and I'm not spending €195 on Amp Room ME right now. Again, free trial. It's definitely worth the money though if you play a lot.

@@enten161 Thanks a LOT for your detailed reply. I started my trial just yesterday and I'll definitely give it a go.
I don't think I will spend 195€ for this software because I already spent a good amount on Amplitube 5 lol. But with Amplitube I just can't get satisfied soundwise because of my mentioned quality problems. I don't know if it's the interface, my PC, the cable or the software or even the cable that's causing those problems. Other people's recordings always sound Cristal clear.

@@enten161 Did you just put three amps next to each other and then the cabinets in the Amp room? Cause when I do that all I get is a terribly loud squeaky noise haha. Or do you have a sperate track for each amp in your DAW
