Im so happy you started to edit your vids to under 10 minutes! good job recognizing this! Yormark is out smarting and out marketing all other Commissioners! He is absolutely thinking outside the box! love Big XII current position and our future pounce mentality. But what happened to the video caught in a still shot? maybe i need to refresh my browser?...
PE in the hands of Yormark is the G Fund. He has experience and relationships to form the best of all scenarios. Separating FB/BB will also depend on Media Partner acceptance.
That would be great if Florida State and Clemson comes in and then add Louisville, Miami, Virginia Tech and NC State. If they want to go 24 then think about Oregon State and Washington State.
I'm sure Yormark is doing his best to put together a blockbuster of a deal that would be too good for FSU and Clemson to pass up! A deal so good that would want the remaining ACC teams to want to join the Big12 and put the P2 on notice they have their work cut out for them.
Well its come out that PE Firms approaced Sankey twice last year and he turned them down.So it looks as thats where BY got the idea.Dont think schools are gonna sign up for that.Youre throwing all your rights out the window and youll be at the mercy of the firms.
All depends on how the Private Equity is done. Your "doom and gloom" scenario usually is applied to failing businesses where the PE is trying to turn it around and become profitable.
@carladams9345 I have done so.There aren't any big brands in the Big12.You gotta generate revenue to repay those funds and the Big12 tv contract ain't gonna do it and it ain't getting better. There are NO next brands in the Big12.There are a 9 football brands in the SEC.PE firms came to SANKEYfor that reason but he said NO.
Still arguing about a degree being valid compensation is at best deluding himself, the revenue sports have been bring in tens to hundreds of millions of dollars per university per year for a long time, and that goes back longer than the media component of athletic revenue bring in that much itself.
As a B1G fan, I love the fact the Big 12 has saved itself from imploding. But can we tap the brakes on declaring BY the king of college sports? In full context, the Big 12 is simply trying to fight to be the third best conference. That's it. And it'll be the third best conference at the will of the B1G and SEC. There's not a single team in the Big 12 that won't leave for a P2 invite. The reverse is not true. FSU, Clemson, and Miami would only join the Big 12 as a layover and not as a destination. Until the Big 12 can poach the P2, BY has not outsmarted anyone except the dumb PAC-12 and ACC.
Since there has yet to be one season played by the new look B1G and SEC, it is still up in the air how the two conferences will react. Arkansas and Nebraska are cases in point how premier teams have not been able to regain the point of excellence they once enjoyed after changing conferences. It will be much harder now. There will definitely be initial interest for the obvious reason, but how many years will it take for this to wear thin with both the top and bottom echelon teams. Having a vision of how something will turn out and the reality of it tend to end up to be to very different things.
@@lancelittrell369 Huh? Again, you guys are projecting onto other fans. Every B1G school other than Iowa, Nebraska, and Oregon are in pro sports cities. Minnesota, Illinois, Northwestern, MSU, Indiana, Purdue, etc. have been eating losses for decades but keep voting for expansion. The key to B1G success is that we honestly don't care about winning college natties in pro sports markets. I love PSU, but I love the Packers more on Sunday. In terms of non-pro sports schools, Nebraska is one of nine athletic programs to earn over $200 million in revenue last year. You think Utah and Kansas State don't want to eat more losses for higher pay? How many times will Big 12 teams be happy with winning the league just to run into the OSU or UGA buzz saw in the playoffs? TCU proved you can get lucky one game but not two. You'll probably just be happy with hope like everyone else.
Tennessee Rutgers and couple more sec big 10 school all made more than a big12 school but did not net profit from making 100 million but lost money so financially big 12 profit is better then most schools in sec big10
@@judah9934 Uh, universities are nonprofits. Why would a nonprofit try to profit every year? Lol! Who are the shareholders seeking returns from the earnings? Any university trying to profit year over year needs to fire their accountant. Big 12 fans need to stop looking at the income statement and start reading the balance sheet and cash flow statement.
Given the cards BY was dealt he’s been an amazing commissioner. That said Kevin Warren was amazing doing that Alliance and then swiping USC and UCLA from the PAC. Nobody saw that coming. Real killer move there. Sanky has done a good job creating one of the most powerful conferences and keeping it mostly regional.
LOL, at first I thought there was something wrong with the VIDEO..........
These guys are bitchin’ ventriloquists.

No offense to the Big 12, but there is zero interest on the part of FSU.
@@tomsmithdeal8286 None taken at all! I totally agree that FSU has no interest in the Big12. Its either the B1G or SEC.
Im still waiting to hear from you about the SEC leading the Pack to start paying their athletes
