Cool concept, however, I disagree with some of the concepts here. The bathroom is a minimal time taker for us. Living room and bedroom are important. We have opted for induction cooking which means we don’t need gas. Rain is adequate here so we’ve gone for collection, but also have two bores that were already here, but they provide very brown and sandy water - we are near the beach - good for the veggie garden though.
I want to put something like this on a spot on my land back of our house a ways. It would be for the wife and I. Then the boys could share the main house until whatever they'd decide in the future. I'd just love a small house.
We’re very interested we’re going off grid in the spring and we’re in the process of finding our home but when I go to your site, it wants you to jump through a bunch of hoops to get prices. Is there any way to just get a price of your basic kit.
$25k for a 12x20 shell with 8x20' porch. You could prob have that built and not touch anything but your check book for the same price. I assume the kit dosnt include insulation, electrical, concrete or interior finishes along with doors or windows.

Just love the well I dug was 700 feet deep and in blanco tx and these guys can hand dig. I’m not envious. I’m jealous

Each situation is different, so adaptation to the environment and personal choices or philosophies is essential.
Adorable!

I would need a big kitchen with full size stove and fridge, but bedroom and bathroom small
Need my laundry room
Living room half
Way decent
Small appliances ok

$25 with no interior finishes, and you have to build it yourself? LOL, no thanks.
