Lol. I am on same road as you, only difference is that I haven’t quit my job yet. I did work in private for small firm and a mid size firm. It feels like an exhausting process. I don’t have background in international tax. How long did it take u to land next roll?
You will find many positions available in public accounting! I think if you’re okay with the busy season hours and what public accounting expects from you then you should be fine~
