Lauren Babic (the one you pointed out) is phenomenal. This is actually one of the "lower" rated covers she's been in imo, but she has an AMAZING growl/ scream. I actually learned how to do both the vocal fry and false chord scream techniques from her channel. You should DEFINITELY check out more of her stuff, especially collabs with Cole Rolland, or her cover of King for a Day. Her cover of Adele's - Hello is amazing!

i saw halocene lauren and violet perform this live back in april. it was amazing
They have done and continue to collaborate on many songs, and they're always amazing. They're even on tour together right now in the US before Europe. I found them a couple years ago and I've been listening to all of their covers and original songs since then❤❤

I would highly recommend Violet Orlandi's cover of breathe by Pink Floyd. Other than that, pretty much everything all three of them have done is amazing.
Chop Suey will never have a better sounding cover.

In the original SoAD song the line “you wanted to” has a layered vocal. That is the difference - her single vocal does not sound as full and powerful.

There is a comprehensive list with all 3 of them or just two of them alternating. Tons of songs they have collaborated on with each other, in my opinion, have all been straight fire. They did a cover of Toxicity and Aerials by System of a Down. I would simply just check all 3 of them out and play songs you find interesting. All 3 are phenomenal musicians, as well as the Halocene, which is a group. The group you saw in the video. The one with platinum hair is Addie, she is usually lead vocals and piano when it's needed, guitarist and bassist, and secondary vocals, and scream/growl vocals is Bard, Addie's husband. Then you have the buff tatted out god of a drummer Joe. But I would check out Violet Orlandi and Lauren Babic on their own and together with each other and Halocene. They have also included people like First to Eleven, Jonathan Young, Caleb Hyles, Cole Roland, and many more that would take way too much time to name.

Halocene is a band with Addie-vocals Brad-guitar Joe-drums and the Lauren and Violet adding the vocals. All 3 do covers but now are branching out to do their own songs. Check out Violet doing a cover of Down with the Sickness with Ai Mori who is from Russia.
I always think of Halocene as Addie-vocals Brad-everything Whatsits- drums. They don't shout out Joe's drumming in the comments enough. Brad is represented as doing all the keys, bass, guitar, and most of the screams, in the videos. Except that Addie also does rhythm guitar, for sure, mainly in songs where Brad steps up to the mic.

They always impressed me with their harmonies, especially considering this was all done remotely With Halocene in the US, Lauren in Canada and Violet in Brazil, at this point they had never even met in person.
They only met Lauren the day they filmed 'When Demons Come To Life' and didn't meet Violet until a few days before their US tour, which was the first time they were in the same place.
As for recommendations, they've done some amazing collabs over the years but I would suggest their originals, Halocene have over a decade of content, Lauren's band Red Handed Denial has some fantastic tracks, and Violet briefly had a band called 'She Wont Live' but most of her originals are under her own name.

I'd second the suggestion someone else made of Halocene's latest original "Repent". Equally, for a more recent cover with all three ladies singing, the trilogy of MCR covers they put out 8 months ago are worth a listen (Welcome to the Black Parade, I'm not OK (I Promise) and Helena). Be aware that Halocene have an older trio of covers of these in a "cinematic" style, which are worth a listen, but not the style they tend to do.

Halocene is hit or miss. Pretty meh group that sometimes cover the right song that fits the lead's voice but a lot of the time her voice just ain't it for the songs. Lauren is great though, her voices are always good and her music with her actual band, Red Handed Denial is great stuff. Would def recommend listening to Father Said. Violet is usually good, but has been rough lately, she might be going threw some voice issues. But her covers of Evanescence songs are amazing.

@@ATHFNoobie I was being nice, their presentation lacked passion and effort, the split screens were idiotic to watch, their singing voices were sqeaky, they destroyed the original flow of the song, completely missed the mark, and should be working at starbuck's, and need to leave music production to the professionals. If they want to sing, then they need to go to songwriting school and sing their own music, and not eviscerate the works of others.
