@@97linde Got mine about 6 months ago. Skied them the first time a week ago in Snowshoe, WV. I will do a formal review when I ski them @ Jackson hole in January.
I got my ski 3 years ago which was a barely used ski from some rental store which rented it for a season then got rid of it for cheap, and I remember my heart rate reaching infinite every time some moron hit my tail or something at the chairlift queue
Yes! Isn’t it awesome to be surprised by new equipment and find a new level of stoke for skiing? I skied my buddy’s kaestle MX 88 last week and LOVED carving them. We haven’t had many powder days this season but they made the groomers so fun. I’ve been looking for a pair, but the Kore 93 might be what I should get. Are you buying some?
I'm sold. Thanks, I was on the fence but if I get get a good Spring deal, these are them. *EDIT: 3 weeks later, I found them at L9 for $389, just skied my first day on them today and they are GREAT.

When I buy another pair of skis I will probably get the Head Kore 93. I really like them a lot. Not saying everyone will love them, but for front side skiing, they were fantastic for me.
Wilder Gurkensammler17 thank you! Definitely not a ski god here but on most days I’d say I have the most fun and that’s really what it’s all about. Have fun and post a video of it!
I bought a demo pair of 2016 Stockli Stormrider 88 177. They are amazing on hard pack but suck in the soft stuff and crud. I stopped at a local ski shop on my way back from the mountain and they gave me a pair of Head KORE 99 180. I am not sure what year they are but I am hoping that they go through crud and slush and powder really good. The days that it is hard packed I can use my Stormriders. Spring skiing in Colorado is mostly about powder, crud, and slush. Do you think this is the right ski or should I even go wider under the foot with the 105? The other thing I heard and that I just read you say was that the tails of the skis aren't very forgiving or you could say playful. It sounds like they are more playful on the newer models. What are your thoughts on that?
Looks like you push your left turns, rights are strong, shadows show good seperation but your shoulders seem to follow your hips a bit more on left turns..... And in the pow, stay forward, your tips will keep you on top..... Especially on the mid vid fall, you were in the backseat. If you care, should make your days and your new ski experience more fun!!
Hey, you helped me with decision and I wanna buy head kore 99. I Have one question about size im 178cm 69kg And i dont know if 177 or 184, mostly ski in alps
Hi, just found this video and i wanted to ask. Im very very tempted to buy the kore 93 and i could get a sweet deal on them. The only thing putting me off is that theyre 189cm only. Im 6'2 (around 185cm), i'm a bit more heavy than most guys in my height range and i'm usually skiing fast turns, but i like some playfulness as well. I'd like to use them for all mountain, pretty much 50/50 pow/piste. Basically i'm trying to ask how tall are u and if you think that they'd be too long for me? Thanks in advance :)
Hi thanks for watching! Thats for sure the size for you. Im on the 189 and I’m 5’11, 175. I haven’t skied them in the 93 waist, but I’d think since you’re bigger and the waist is smaller you’d definitely not be going too big. It’s the right size for me in the 189. Hopping for a big winter here!!

I’m shopping right now and am between these Head 105 and K2 Mindbender 108. I’m also 6 foot but closer to 200 lbs. How did you find the 189 length in the trees?

After a few seasons on them now, I have to agree. My ideal ski is a little more forgiving! I guess this makes my title of the video somewhat misleading
Got the 93s right now and love them here in the East. Looking to move out West soon and was thinking the 105s for daily drivers. Looks like they do well in crud, groomers, and pretty much everything but how would you say they do in up to like 10 inches of pow?
Wesley Poe Wesley Poe if that 10” is perfect snow (which can be rare) these in the 105’s are so fun. Yes! They’ve evolved as the ski I take out any day that I’m focused on groomers. I’m a powder junkie and they manage soft snow well so if I find some soft they work. If I skied more groomers I’d probably buy a solid carver with a narrower waist in the 85-90 range.
Hey man, nice vid! Just wondering what height you are and what size the Head Kores you were riding were? Would you recommend a size up/down with these lightweight skis?
Oskar Niessen @ Solitude ski resort in Utah. This was mid week but it’s often this mellow even on weekends. After lots of days last season on the Head Core 105’s they became my favorite groomer day skis that also charge through chop and crud but on the deeper fluffier days I’d go to my wider, less camber more rocket powder skis.
So do you still love those skis? Would you recommend them? You went wit the 188: how tall are you? Love the video. It could be the only push I needed!!!!
Hey Dan, I do still love them - with a side note. I always have them with me when I head up to ski but I have to admit I’m riding them only about 1 in 5 days. If I’m skiing off piste and looking for airs I actually have been grabbing either my Icelandic Nomad 115 or some Surface Daily’s. The heads handle pow very well when the snow is excellent. When it’s grabby or manky (set up or heavy) I seem to get thrown around on the heads more. I also get shin bang on the Kores when I’m hitting airs. I attribute this to the very stiff tail. I love them on groomers and perfect ego powder, but right now my best ever I guess are my Nomads. I live in a place that gets good snow often (today was epic) and I focus on finding untouched powder 99% of my time. I guess I’m a sucker for fattys. I weigh 180 and am 6’.
Wow, nice video. I was almost convinced to buy the Enforcer 100, but i'm in doubt with the Kore 99. Have you skied the Enforcer, to give me some tips VS the kores. Thanks.
Pack21 thanks for checking out the video! I haven’t had a chance to ski the Enforcer but I hear good things about them. I have now had more time on my kore 105 skis and I have found that for me they make groomers so fun and when I get great quality powder they are a blast. When it’s a little heavy or set up off piste I’ve found that I prefer to go with fatter boards (right now I have the Scott Scrapper 117). They turn grabby tough snow conditions into easy fun skiing, while my Kore 105’s only want to lock in and end up throwing me around a bit. As for the difference in the kore 99 and enforcer, unless you live and ski somewhere w excellent quality pow all the time, I don’t think you can go wrong w either. I like the lightness of the Kore a lot and they are stiff enough to charge high speed on groomers and blast through chop. Good luck, sorry I’m not more specific on which will work best but hopefully you can find a good deal on one of them and that can help make your decision.
Pack21 I was also looking for the same comparison. I own the 93 and 100 enforcer and love them. I’ve skied the 93 mostly due to Aussie skiing conditions. They do struggle a tad in anything over 25cm of fresh snow. My wild guess the kore would float better in pow and the enforcer would have a slight edge on the kore in stability and dampness. Would love to also compare the kore 105 to the QST 106. I own the QST which floats like a dream, but would do with some better firm snow performance. Which Im having a wild guess again that the kore would be perfect in between.
Shame to someone falling victim to the head kore. Sister got a pair and after 1 season there was a crack running down the middle of the ski (no holes in the base)

Never put your Hands into the loops! If your ski stick gets stuck in a tree or so, your arm will be ripped apart.
FireOwlPlays you’re so right! I’ve been taken down hard getting my pole basket wedged in a branch. My last poles had a quick release strap and I’m looking for another pair now. I drop my poles all time when not strapped. Lazy
I nearly ripped my thumb off. small branch caught it and i fell down like in Tom and jerry movie
where you at?
@solitude
you are so nice xD
When you learn to carve instead of pivoting, once you reach hardpack or sketchy ice, it'll be even smoother...LOL
ocsteved Totally! Maybe that’s why I avoid sketchy ice and hardpack when possible.
I like the pow pivot most😉👍
You act like ice cares whether you’re carving or not
Can you do a cork 7 with those
I’m gonna go with - yes, I’ve just not chosen to throw one yet. 😉
99s?
Ambler Stephenson 105’s!
Patrick Clifford how tall are you and what size are they? 180 or 189?? Sick video
Hey guys, I have the 189 length and 105 waist. I’m 6’ and 175 lbs
Will be it too large for on piste and carving?
105, the Kore 99 is the stiffest of the Kore's line up. The 105 is very playful and can do corduroy .
Solitude??
Solitude.
Yep!
Nice video, dude. Looks like you had a great day. Where is this?
benmarinic thanks! Solitude, Ut
It's safer and more elegant to slow down while gradually approaching other people. You're not alone on the slopes! If you miscalculate you may hit someone.
