MVP is that dude holding the drum for dear life. I noticed you my mans... i noticed...
All my respect and appreciation goes to that guy
@J P3 finna tryna...
That drum has a life it will gonna run if u don't hold it like that
I try to lean towards the drum just needing a hug
That’s like the only thing I was looks at and I was ganna comment about it but you beat me
"What is your position on the drumline?"
"Drum Stand"
Tenor
Bass 3
Conductor 1234223432344234
All around
🤣
1:35 We've all been there. No worries.
Thanks laughed so hard😂😂😂
But true
drum lines are so hype... i want a personal drumline to play behind me everywhere I go ... walk into the grocery store to buy milk and eggs? got my drumline with me, come at me bro
Watch: "Im gonna git you Sukka."
This is the way
Maybe just dowwnload this soundtrack for your ring tone, and have friends call you when your out to shop. Let it ring!
I love the guy holding the djembe like his life depends on it
Shadow kept together more than the other group.
shadow won hands down from a drummer and a teacher! Shadow was cleaner and played harder and had better moves.
I know you commented this 2 years ago but I'm having fun with my insomnia and I wanted to tell you I couldn't agree with you more. There commitment to precision was intense. You could literally feel it radiating off of each one of them.
As a percussionist for over 20years and playing snare in the line I have been in countless drum wars and I have to say that Shadow is better, All extras in the other line isn't necessary it just fogs it all up and not to mention their snare line sounds like popcorn, it needs to sound like 1 person and Shadow nailed it with that aspect, not as flashy but who cares I was taught with very strict rules you didn't smile you didn't talk or even move unless directed to and I wouldn't of had it any other way! Miss it all now that's for sure
Escuchar musi ica disco del duo lime lo mejor
And you see, that is your mistake. you think like a musician, instead of a performer.

Shadow (the first line to play?) wins hands down. They were super clean from stick height to being perfectly im unison. No contest they were the cleaner / disciplined line.
I was there and Shadow was definitely the tightest group that year. Great effort by both
SHADOW WAS AMAZING. I’m so late this was like 2 years ago lol
Holy hell the cymbal coordination at 4:08 is incredible
I love hearing how on key everyone is, it's amazing!!! Great job to all the teachers 👍👏
Shadow line was cleaner and harder music?!?! Like how?! 7th reg sounds like a good high school line shadow sounds like a good college line like tf?!?!?
more passionate sound i guess
It was a battle Cleanliness and dope music vs Creativity. And Creativity won
Shadow is an all high school line too (; no body is older than 18
LaCroy They were better musically, yes. However, I think what got them most was that they dropped sticks and cymbals.
All that matters to me is that they play clean, I was recently contracted to March shadow for the 2019 season, and I'm hoping that I get good enough to make phantom for the 2020 season
quad player with sandals
I know him
That's the life right there
I’ve done that. It low key works
Zay PlayZ i is his name Alex?
The gray team with the cymbals was so dope!!! Format was great
I'm from CT, but I think Shadow should have won. Loved their show this year too.
Blackbird im from CT and I marched Shadow lol
What part of CT are you guys from? And do you guys know of Hurcs?
Do they have a Facebook...or insta ...where I can follow
Mike L CT hurricanes? DCA. I saw them
I’m from CT too, but I think they were both really good bc New London’s has more creativity
In Battle and DCI it's not about the music and marching, it's about the accessories and scenery and how much stuff you bring on the field. This is now how all band competitions are judged, even in high school.
Me:Trying to do homework at midnight
My head:this
My private instructor marched shadow during this and I saw this live, just realized I watched my instructor perform without even realizing it!!
This is a divine meody, listening to these sounds, you want to be somewhere far away, maybe at the end of the world and meet the sunrise or sunset, look at this masterpiece and envelop yourself in these sounds of the soul, which turn into a thin and gentle soul, which is ready for anything something more than I thought. Thank you for such creativity)
4:54 rip to that cymbal
Everything messed up that cymbal toss
That line and foot work on point 🤙🏾🤙🏾
Shadow 100% they stayed together the entire the entire time, and had amazing intros
Energy was definitely there on both sides and the crowd was amazing.
4:47 this is sparta
I could watch these kids all day, havin` fun!!
what a rip man...shadow was fricken insane compared to 7th....
7th Regiment won because....no matter what goes on...the backbone like the bass line...carries through the whole performance. If you can’t prove everyone holding a drum is a god...take a seat. That bass line killed it!!!
Jerome Wieland the only reason why 7th reg’s bassline was so together was because their book was 76% easier than shadows book was. They had quick little runs and just played the impact notes
That was a nice cymbal drop at 4:57
Big Uuf I noticed that too lmao
la PERFORMANCE de malade!!!! j'adore
The bass drums on both linesb though 🔥
Outstanding gentleman!
And ladies!!!!
2:59 look at that dud 😂😂
he's so hyped he will take a soul for it! 😂🙌
Hahahaha true.. lol
Ok no, that’s bullshit. They won even though their snares weren’t tuned properly, composition wasn’t as difficult, playing wasn’t as clean, dynamics weren’t as good? Who judged this? Not actual drummers I’m guessing. Shadow got robbed.
It probably wasn’t judged from a technical standpoint. I’m guessing it was more for the audience and in situations like that the flashiest are often the winners
HeavySet this always happens with anything like this tbh
Wow I wish we could do this and Atlanta Drum Academy
4:40 love the closer segment
both were amazing
Both teams are clean & precise like professionals should be
DUDE I APPRECIATE THAT HYPE SO MUCH
Legit got chills
really cool stuff !!!
Amazing
When someone says Drumline isn’t a sport:
amazing snare rolls
Esses toques são muito top
This is just all kinds of badass
FANTASTIC !!!!!!!!!!!!!
great team work
Amazing that's what I like fire drum.
shadow should've won. If you see closely like 7th regiment didn't coordinate as much as shadow. Also shadows was together even more... shadow wins in my mind
Shadow
It was a close race. Then shadow started and had already won.
These are the videos that make me want to quit high brass and join the quad or snare line. 😂😂😂
Все барабагные ритмы- это " музыка тёмных сил ибо только под ритмы барабанов достигаются совместные действия рабов и агрессивных сил.
Number 17 on The symbols loves his job! A lot!
All em smash great work
Отличная работа! Круто! ))
Bass Drum Sound Nice. Awesome tuning
Omg that girl with the tambourine was so into it!!!!😂😂
Great show very entertaining
Those drums look sick
Looks like those kids are having fun!
Before seeing this video I had never even heard of Shadow but I liked them in this competition. 7th Regiment is always good on the field though.
5:35 Bass line ...
Clean
WOW,BRAVO
Both were superb! tie!
Amazing!

That was cool! I enjoyed both, but Shadow wins it for me. Great job, all!
My boil playing with a cast😂🤣😂
love how they add the haka into it
nice! I really enjoyed it:)
Ayyy CT for the win!! I currently march with the Hurcs but going on to 7th next season :)

Shadow's line precisions 👍🏻✌🏻😱
Shoutout to the quadplayer wearing flipflops
Love the group of Grays
I guess there has to be a winner, but you guys/gals are all teriffic and have a lot to be proud of
You know not meaning to brag here but you see Lucas oil stadium in the back ground, well I have been on that field twice in my marching career and I have to tell you it is a huge honor to be on that field. This year at state finals we placed in the top five number 4 and broke a school record and that was the highest that our school had ever placed in over a hundred years. Anyway my point being is if you ever get to be on the Indianapolis Colts field just make it a memorable moment.
You do know dci exists and hundreds of people March in the stadium. Ofcourse anyone going will make the best about it and you wont be the last one there

Old fogey here. I was the first girl in drumline to play quads back in 1988. I was the only girl in the drumline at that time. I was 5'3" and 100lbs kitted up. I loved those days. Of course my back would beg to differ. Then again maybe it was the heavy weight lifting. I was never butch but I was a tomboy all the way and I wanted to do the fun stuff boys got to do. My skin and hair thanks me for that, at 47 I still don't have to wear makeup and my hair is soft, shiny and full. So I guess there's ups and downs to all our decisions and roads in life. But the days on the drum line were some of the best and most memorable. Traveling for games. Traveling for competitions and the camaraderie whether we were winners or losers. Good Times.
Alright Shadow!!! They have both great sound and visuals !!
Djk33❤😍😘 you have a boyfriend how old you are
that dab at 3:46 made my day
shadow won. that dynamics, that voices omg this is really dope, second team bullshit
Shadow had some HAKA warrior moves that I like.
unexpected, i think shadow will be win, and i'm so confidence when the winner is announced.
Those are one the of top two drumlines around. Noticed how shadow wasnt stressing that 7th won.
How did I end up here? Shiiieeettt yeah!
Precision vs creativity
Damn! You young folks are brilliant. Thoroughly enjoyed ...nothing like this Here Downunder 👍🏽👍🏼👍🏻🇦🇺👏🏾👏🏽👏🏼
David John I am sorry about the tragedy unfolding there. Keep your heads up and fight like hell mate!
I just got accepted into shadow as a drum major :)
both line is best! this battle is very difficult to judge I think.
the guy thats hugging that drum to 😂
Cavies 2013 Secret Society quad ostinatto was in there :o
I’m sorry the boy on the shadow team playing the cymbals in the front with the curly top was killing it XD
The shadow group is the definition of me and the boys
6:49 need to chill bit I admit that beat fire
Dang!!!!!! Shadow killed it! That was lit!
Blue Is a Great Color For A Beautiful Sky 🤗
