Just to clarify, Cass wasn't even yelling or straining his angel voice, all that ear-rupturing and window-shattering was done entirely by Castiel just talking normally in his true angel voice. Imagine if he straight-up yelled or screamed, he could've blown up the whole building.
Someone pointed out that once Dean is salting the window, the wall says "Wing" and the sign across from it says "Positive-No Smoke" and that is such a cool nod.
As much as I loved Castiel's character development over the last decade, there are days where I wish I could turn back time and be a teenager to watching this episode for the first time and see how scary Angels were in season 4--5 (and before the outclassed by Leviathans in season 10) Even Ruby's quote about the Castiel where she even said "the sky bleeds, the ground quakes. its cosmic" chilled me to the bones.

Unless angels in their true forms can still resurrect. Cas did say many angels were involved in the resurrection of Dean.
It was a Michael sanctioned operation so im fairly certain he healed Deans body himself before the Strike team of Angels delivered the soul and reinserted it, an Archangel at peak power should be quite capable of that. When Castiel said he "Gripped Dean tight and raised him from perdition" he meant it was a solo assault, so he alone would have literally torn his way through hell and back. I would love that, but considering Castiel is just a standard soldier at that point unlikely. 5 Demons is one thing, couple thousand another. 2. He was the one carrying Deans unconsious ass through hell with one arm and defending them both with the other while the rest of the team mainly kept the Demon hordes at bay. The ligth once flickered in my bathroom and I immediately checked if I could see my breath and was ready to run after the salt and iron luckily it was nothing
Fun fact (those knowledgeable in Hermeticism): The "real voice" you hear in this show when an angel appears is actually one of the most realistic depictions I've seen so far. Usually any being of higher planes are such subtle, that it's usually impossible to perceive the frequency of their "voice". However, as soon as they try to conform to the physical plane, starting from 0:50 is actually the result. And it can even get a lot more worse than that, which is why in Hermeticism people learn to control the four elements (qualities, not physical elements) in order to make their body more resilient to the pressure by higher spiritual beings.

Just be aware, you can't just "master" the elements in a mere second or with a technique. Similar to bodybuilding, it will require plenty of time, preparation and training to reach that point. You'd need to prepare your physical, astral and mental bodies in such a way that they are ready enough to serve as vessels for the nature of the elements, likewise you'd need to train many faculties of your mind.

Paliana humans aren't advanced enough to hear them, they are far more powerful than us, even a more low down angel like Cas. An Archangel would be much more powerful
