There has been a change of the JFK and LaGuardia of the Novabus LFS and New Flyer XD40 JFK is now receiving 179 LFS and 25 XD40s for a total of 204 buses LaGuardia is now receiving 83 LFS, 57 XD40s + 45 XD40s = 102 XD40s for a total of 185 buses
The end of bus eras in America -The MBTA articulated dual modes were the last Neoplan buses in America. -The early 2000's MCI's were the last flipdots of America -There are still some agencies with high floor buses but it seems like NJT may have the last high floor buses in America because NJT seems to have the most high floor buses out of any transit agency - Either NJT, Dallas Dart, or Houston Metro may end up having the last NABI buses in America and maybe WMATA (Broward in Florida does have some NABIs too but their oldest vehicles are currently 12 so I do not think these will last as long as other fleets) METRA (Georgia) or NYC MTA could end up having the last Orion buses and I don't see either fleet making it beyond 2027 There could be some things I may have missed out on but those are some of my predictions of the end of those eras.
The MTA intends on retiring the last of its Orion's 3rd Gen (EPA10) Orion VII's in 2025-2026. In the New York City Metro area, the last two agencies with Orion's would end up being Suffolk County Transit and Westchester Bee-Line. It all depends on who orders buses first. I see NICE's fleet being 100% Orion Free around the same time as the MTA.

Keep mentioning about bringing back the 8 Thrid Avenue Elevated line back where it was. The 8 Thrid Avenue does not need to be running under ground on Thrid Avenue and closing down the streets where it could definitely be cheaper than digging under ground on Thrid Avenue Because they have to remember they have gas pips and water pipes and sewers and electrical under Thrid Avenue.

I had to look at MBTA's fleet. Since there isn't a pending order to retire the New Flyer DE60LFR's, it would be a while for MBTA to have a 100% Xcelsior fleet. As their existing order for New Flyer XDE40's is supposed to carry into 2026. In addition to a pending order of New Flyer XE40's.
