Ive had these lights for 8 months... needless to say im very glad to finally have the glass lenses on and put them in the wagon! Huge upgrade and im loving how they look!
If you have a spare headligth, try taking it apart and see if you can get that broken part from another headligth, migth be in better shape
I like the stock headlights in my black Jetta so just making the lense clear is all I need I might pick up these glass ones!

Love this feeling so much 😂 one of the first things I did when I picked up my Tiguan was first ordered the Euro R front clip, and immediately after that ordered the OE bixenons to replace the halogens. Putting the new bixenons in with the euro front clip all painted and fresh was such a RIDICULOUS transformation. Now If only they made a glass housing set for the facelift Tiguan R’s 😩
Must say, I really do think the wagon is the best looking one in your fleet.

I agree, other than the wood trim. Looks cheap to me. The black or brushed ss, looks best to me for the age of mk4 cars

In my day (I’m sounding like my father now) headlights were so simple. Three Phillips screws, and you were done. Great job on the install and fix. Car looks crazy ! Thanks again, RickGTI…..🌴

Also might be worth checking the old headlights if they have the same clip for the adjusters if you can't get it to work with the glued one.

I just bought a $1900 dollar Bright Green 03 Wagon. I got in an accident recently in my 24v vr6 gti and I plan on swapping it with the 02M and 24v this spring. Just got done pulling everything I need for the swap! I must say im in love with the color and extra space, but I do miss that vr6 sound and shifting my own gears.
Looks great! Get some lamenex on those fresh headlights to protect them!

I picked up a Black 2003 TDI 5sp wagon 2 yrs back after my 2.slow 5sp mk4 sedan died. I like the look of your bumper and lower Valence. Where did you get the Valence? Is it from another VW model? Thanks.
Nice car! We also had a 2003 golf wagon tdi back in Germany. Great car. The rear lip is an Oem piece made by votex. Hard to find these days I think there’s only like 7-8 of them in the states

those things, i strugled with them too, but i made them from aluminium and now they works fine . hope your superglue will work, it should bcz you ahd all pieces, i had only 1/3 of it so i need to make it new :D

Love Xenon's, but Let's be Honest : Mike Ojeda from VXTuning has the BEST Headlights on the market, world, etc etc.
Lenses are dope Doe.
By the way , the fix is pretty simple all the adjusters are the same , you just tug the wires out , and everything disassembles from the inner part no need to take the lense out!
The chrome inside the headlights would look good painted black

I agree 100% a vw wagon is definitely the way to go. I’ve had a mk4 Jetta vr6 mk5 rabbit 2.5 mk2 gti 16v swap. Now I have a mk6 sportwagen 2.5 love this car the most.

Oh no you didn't use the unboxing knife. Hopefully we would not have a weather change. Next time when you remove glasses try to put them in the oven, so you don't have to use a heat gun. 10 minutes and 100°celsius(( i dont how much farenheit) we talked about that in the past) is fine.

I noticed the droopy left projector since the first shot when you took them out of the box and then i was cringing a bit thinking something worth fixing was needed before you sealed them…lol. Obviously our vantage point wasnt the one you had so it was harder for you to tell.

Head Lights look sweet on the wagon. What ever happened to the spoiler from the Bora wagon do you still have it if so will you be putting it on the Jetta. As always great content keep it up.
Looks great with xenons. I have started wondering when you will install them since I saw for the first time in a video when you were back in Germany but I know that here in Europe the rules are a bit different than in the US. Like when you have xenons on your car, it also has to be equipped with headlight washer and self-leveling mechanism. Glad you are back in the US and you finally have them ON. Great car, is looking more Bora than Jetta now :D
I think the car would look cool if you would black out the rear windows again like when you bought it (but good quality this time)
