  • One of the highlights of the Bluebell calendar saw the railway play host to 60103 "Flying Scotsman" for six days. Alongside the iconic A3, the Bluebell was running three home fleet locomotives to supplement the service; including two passenger services and a brake van service around Horsted Keynes. "Flying Scotsman" could be seen working non-stop services between Sheffield Park and East Grinstead throughout the event.
    Locomotives:
    Ex-SR Q Class - 30541
    SR S15 Class - 847
    Ex-LNER A3 Class - 60103 "Flying Scotsman"
    BR Standard Class 5MT - 73082 "Camelot"
All footage filmed on Wednesday the 19th of April 2017.

Thanks, it sure was a good day, with nice weather too. Personally, I wasn't there for Scotsman - I was more interested in the S15 ;)

great video. was it still busy there during your visit i made the mistake in hoping it would be a bit quieter after the first few days.

Cheers! It was still a little hectic, but from what I've heard from Mr Hawks (Bluebell-Railway Hawks), it wasn't even half as busy as the first few days. The 6-mil-wreck-mobile will always pull in the crowds.
