Thanks for the info. We plan on going here in May. Your 10 things to do in Marrakesh will be helpful as well. We appreciate all you do. We have used the information from other videos to plan trips to other destinations as well. We went to Turkey shortly after you released those videos, and we are using your information as we plan our trip to Portugal in a few months. Now we just need you to go to Spain 🙂 We really appreciate the maps in the videos, as they help orientate where attractions are in relationship to each other. BTW, I also had fun reminiscing while watching the Angles Landing video in Utah - a hike I've done six times.
Thank you so much for the nice comment! I hope you have a good time! Spain is very high on our list... we've both been there a bunch of times, but before we started creating UA-cam videos! The south of Spain is lovely and you should definitely include Granada, Sevilla, Ronda, and Cordoba in your itinerary. Those cities are just beautiful!
It looks like it was really cold there.. Please share the month you were there and what were the temperatures . It will help to plan your wardrobe accordingly ! The video was great , thank you )
Hey really i love your Hiking and your teeerking its great pleasure for me to share with you the same moments but toi defferents im.from.south Est morocco and hope Our work developed and givevus new things Welcome and Max ne See u in morocco for good work to gether . Miri 😊😊😊😊😊😊
Hey there! Thanks for the awesome videos the tour looks awesome! I was curious if you had any tips on how to fit in stops such Ait Ben Haddou and ouarzate on the way to Mergouza if you didn’t have a rental Car. 😊
I think there’s a bus from Marrakech to Ouarzazate! In the city you could make find others to drive with / or get a driver to take you to Ait Ben Haddou!
Hope you're having a good trip! We went to Merzouga at the beginning of December. It was pleasant during the day, but very cold at night! I'm sure you've experienced some cold nights as well ;)
Hi, fantastic video and lots of really helpful info and insights! Do you know the name of the luxury campa you stayed in please? Did you stay another night in Merzouga after your 4 x 4 adventure, or was there time to drive on from there after that? Thanks, K
We didn't spend any night in Merzouga itself. Arrived on the day of the tour and left after the 4x4 tour (it was finished around noon). Don't remember the camp name as it was arranged for us by the company
Hi, is there spaces for hand luggages? We’ll be travelling with backpacks and hand luggages in our trip around Morocco we’re thinking of booking this trip you see thanks for the vid
It is great trip. Very different with others. I want to follow your dessert trip but not sure if it is safe for me or not as I am woman and will be travelling solo.
We met a few other solo female travelers in Morocco. One woman was also doing a camel Safari but for 2 days. I can imagine it can be a little bit lonely if you’re just by yourself and the guides. But maybe you’ll find some other travelers to link up with in the town of Merzouga?
@worldwildhearts I was also wondering if it was safe to stay in the desert with kids. My youngest is eleven, so I'm not sure if we should go there! Your videos are among the most informative!
Looking to drive from Marrakech by renting a car, how easy the drive there? Where did you park your car while away for 3 days in the desert ? Can you refer me to your guide for the desert stay? Thank you
It's not too difficult driving to Merzouga, though it's going to be a long drive. We left our car with the company we booked our desert tour with. The link is in the description below the video.
I have gone to the website to get prices to do the same trek you did but can’t find anything. Doesn’t say prices and when I click book it takes me to a blank page. Any other site I could book this through?
That's strange! The website works for us. Maybe you can get in touch via email? cameltrips1@gmail.com. You can find some other tours on GetYourGuide as well
The 2 nights in the desert with the camels were about 85€ per person (we stayed in the standard camp on the second night - there is also a luxurious option which is more expensive), we added on the 4x4 tour on the last day which was an additional 45€ per person
Mostly speeding tickets. Just keep an eye out for road signs as they change so quickly. We didn’t catch all of them and that’s why we got fined. Also, there are many police checkpoints and you really have to stop. Even if you drive 5 km / hour and not stop for them completely, they’ll fine you.
All of these areas are the areas of Western Sahara occupied by Morocco, and all of its inhabitants were displaced refugees in the Tindouf camps in Algeria after the Green March, which the world denounced at the time, and there are videos called Where is King Hassan II threatening the local population with death, Western Sahara was a Spanish colony and gave up It was transferred to Mauritania and Morocco by the illegal Madrid agreements. After Mauritania left Western Sahara, Morocco seized the remaining lands. Every tourist advertisement for disputed areas is considered a violation of international law.
Hi Mo! Actually Merzouga lies all the way to the east of Morocco (way further east than Marrakech) and was never part of Western Sahara, which is located in the west.
@@worldwildhearts I did not lie about the fact that there is a country in Africa occupied by Morocco called Western Sahara and that there are thousands of Sahrawi refugees in the Tindouf camps who have been waiting for more than forty years for their referendum
@@worldwildhearts On 26 February 1976, Spain informed the Secretary-General that it had until that date terminated its presence in Western Sahara and relinquished its responsibilities for the territory, thus leaving it in effect to be administered by both Morocco and Mauritania in the areas under their control. . Nice try besides the fact that this is in the territory of Merzouga which is by no doubt part of Morocco, the ridiculous claim of western Sahara is nothing but a Western colonial leftover the Grand Sahara is and was always part of the great Kingdomof Morocco, actually a large part of Modern day Algeria that didn't exist before 1960 and a big part of modern day Mauritania were part of Morocco, I don't understand the idiocy of denying Morocco's sovereignty over territories that historically and factually always belonged to us , it was part of Morocco before colonialism and was cut from our country during those years and once we got rid of the spanish with a historical march in 1975 we got it back , go learn history you ignorant idiot and the rebels in Tindouf besides that there are only few hundreds, they are terrorists founded by Algeria and are living there like cockroaches and always will , I dare you to go the South of Morocco and each and every city there and say the ridiculous things yiu've just said , you'll be first laughed at and sexond thrown out . Your videos are great! In your opinion do you think this dessert tour in the summer during July is a horrible idea?😅 Thanks
I think that might not be the best idea indeed 😅 there’s no shade really so it will be super hot

Welcomme tout morroco ❤❤
Hi who did you book this trip through please ? Your trip looks better than the other trips I’ve seen
You can find the company we booked with via the link in the description. The name of the company is "Camel Trips Sahara"
Welcome my brother to Merzouga
Erg Chegaga is more remote, less crowded. Definitly my choice.
👍👍
I’ll take a shot of whiskey with that tea
The tea is good! I'm sure it would be tasty with some whiskey if that is what you fancy as well. Especially on a cold desert night
Very Nice video ! But i didnt catch the price of your trip, how much was it ?
Link to the tours are included in the description below the video. You can click that and see the actual price!
Hi, is there spaces for hand luggages? We’ll be travelling with backpacks and hand luggages in our trip around Morocco

Welcome to Morocco to merzoga and all Moroccan cities contact us
Any cold beer?
There is a lot of beer available in the town of Merzouga itself if you wanted to bring that with you on your trip out there.
You can hold your self for once by not drinking alcohol. Your not going to die or you? Respect the people and the countries religion.
Heyy, what was the price of your 2 days trip from fes? When I click on your link, there is no price shown 🙈
It's $195.92 per person when we check. But for a 3 day trip
How much did it cost?
The 2 nights in the desert with the camels were about 85€ per person (we stayed in the standard camp on the second night - there is also a luxurious option which is more expensive), we added on the 4x4 tour on the last day which was an additional 45€ per person
I prefer a double IPA
Not sure if IPA is available, but there is a lot of local beer available in the town of Merzouga
