  • This huge mid century modern dresser popped up in my Facebook Marketplace feed as FREE a few streets over, so you know how fast I hopped into the van! It’s got a thick coat of chalk paint on it already and it’s missing the original hardware but I love the curvy drawers and I think I can give it a high end makeover in a trending colour way. I'll also show you a neat little trick to fix lifting veneer!

Honestly, the hardware MAKES this piece. They fit perfectly! And the dresser looks gorgeous! If it were blue, I would snap this up in a heartbeat!

It doesn’t matter to me what’s trendy “this year”. I absolutely love the colour. The pairing of any neutral colours is endless.

I am a Texan, born and raised. My ancestry is Aztec Native American and Terra Cotta is the color of our blood. Beautiful job!!

I like the way it looked without those panels that you took off. The color you used, new hardware and without the visual clutter of the panels - completely transformed this dresser!

LOVE that color. I have a wall and a bookshelf in terracotta. It goes in more color schemes than you would think! Beautiful piece- I would buy it if I lived nearby.

Great choices, well matched colour and metal, very successful makeover! 😊 I'm not into autumn colours, lived through the 70s and had all the rusts, oranges, browns and beiges, plus olive green, and shag carpet, but you made this modern and attractive. 👍 Thumbs up! 😊
