sometimes when u buy land u cant always change the texture. so might have to buy software to do it.
had that in both places i bought. 1 st was a 1/4 homestead. then sold that and bought a full homestead and cant change the texture on either of them even with estate owner rights.
to get round that u can buy landmap to put in the textures u want and where. like ive got 2 beach areas that r currently grass but with landmap and i can change those to sand while keeping the rest as grass.
some land is free u just pay the tier. like my 1st place was 1L$ plus tier. the new place was $5990 with the 1st weeks tier included then 5990 per week. so basilcy i didnt pay for the land. just the tier.
Yes, that can help. The only places you can change the actual land texture are on private estates and islands that you pay linden directly. If you "buy it" from a person who pays linden, they have that ability not you. In mainland, you cannot do it unless you use a device like the one you mention.
Does second life take the apple prepaid card to put money as lindens into second life?

can i give someone else permissions to work on the land levels and the terrain.. or does it have to be the person who bought it ? .. for example if Im working with a partner and we found a spot for a business..can i give them permission to raise ort level land..etc ?
you can give permission
Set permission to anyone. but make sure u have security barriers up to stop others getting in u dont want or they could use it as well. then once everything is done take permissions off again. before taking the barrier back down. I made that mistake and someone came in and screwed things up.
