Photographers chase the shot. NOMADS live the shot. Exquisite. Tis the season!
I'm just blown away just to see the beauty of these places. Many thanks for letting us hitch a ride with you.
It's videos like these that make me wish the world will continue to be beautiful like this 100 years from now.
We need to think seven generations ahead, not just one. This is why we fail.
@@Warrior_Resisting_Colonialism 100yrs is 5 generations, if they reproduce at 20yrs old
Love my Sunday mornings with Catherine! 😊
It’s Sunday morning sipping on a fresh cup of coffee by the Colorado River, I feel I’m there. As always your presentation is “Magnifique”. To the masses Moab is a playground. Folks just don’t take the time to appreciate the natural beauty “it” presents. This video is definitely a keeper.
Thank you Catherine for sharing!
Beware of unusual coyote activity in that area! They have been seen ,
Carrying large boxes marked Acme,
Dropping anvils from hot air balloons,
Offering free bird seed,
And launching themselves from giant crossbows!
Another stunning video Cat! Just magnificent!🏜⛰🏜🌵🌵
I did actually laugh out loud! 😁
LMAO, thank you, Lance.
I had to think about that for a few minutes....🤔😂😂
killin me homes!!!!
Memories of Saturday mornings when I was a child...
What a beautiful scene to wake up to. The shot where you're looking through the door of your rig at the bluffs. Stunning. I'm still amazed at the grandeur of this great land of ours.
Sunset/sunrise is amazing in Moab and all over the world. But, in Moab, those red rocks just POP!
"The drive is part of the adventure" - I totally agree.
Spontaneity - Best part of any trip - We call it "Playing it by ear".
9:38 - Gorgeous!
A hike, a nap, steak and sprouts...Best day ever!!
😄😄
Gorgeous campsite and hike! Just wondering- don’t your feet get cold snd wet with the stream crossings? You always seem to just march right through them! Glad you are back out enjoying Utah
I’ve only traveled to Moab once, and that was with my parents and my husband. It was beautiful beyond words. Since then, all 3 of them have gone to Heaven and it brings such a lump in my throat to see pictures and videos of that area, even though I love it. I suppose that’s normal. Does anyone else experience these feelings?
❤️🙏❤️
💜landscapes bring me much emotion. Your personal connection is very deep. 💜
Yes....
Without a doubt, just as a piece of music or a certain smell might do. I’m sorry for your loss.
Memories are what the journey is all about!! Things. sights you see may not be what others see. It's a personal experience that connects to the soul, deep down inside.
The opening shots were just amazing🤩🤩, as you said just incredible. I can’t imagine the amount of work you put into your videos but the results are always stunning thank 🙏you so much for sharing, look forward to the next video. Stay safe cheers from Australia 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
Glad you enjoyed it!
Good morning, Catherine! I think you have convinced me to move to St. George. It's so incredibly beautiful there. I used to drive 18-wheelers out of Salt Lake City and deliver food products throughout the Southwest and to San Antonio. St. George was my favorite breakfast stop. When you stood on the rock overlooking Dead Horse Point and spread your "wings" it reminded of the same feeling I experienced on that rock years ago...the magic and the majesty of the incredible view of wild nature. You shared it with your wonderful photography skills but there's nothing like actually being there to experience it with all of your senses. If you stand there, take it all in you cannot help but spread your wings and for a silly moment you feel like you could fly. Thank you for sharing!
Catherine, wonderful cinematography as always. Thank you for taking us with you and what a lovely start to spring!!
The Great Eternal Artist shows some of His breathtaking architecture in Moab. Love these travelogues, Catherine, and keep on truckin'!
Ya how can anyone see the awesome beauty of creation and not understand that the almighty God created it.
That's just plain ridiculous
Love Moab and the surrounding areas. My son and I did a couple day kayak trip down the Colorado River and to look up from the bottom of Dead Horse Point is just as amazing as looking down. You never know how small you really are until your in areas as vast as where you were at. Stunning scenery and video.
Who's the one who voted down? Catherine's Ex? LOL Catherine, thank you SO MUCH for bringing Moab back to my memory. I miss it so very much.
There are sad people out there that exist solely to dislike wonderful videos...sad,really ....😕
@@rayjohn8689 My grandma would say , those people would complain if they were hung with a new rope
And yet they still watch. :)
Moab is a special place...my heaven on earth. It embraces my soul like no other place.
Beautiful woman, beautiful living.
Most beautiful woman
Beautiful job, Catherine. One of my favorite areas on the world. I’m based in Durango area for half the year just for the incredible variety of topography from the Rocky Mountains to the red rock country of AZ and UT. Its a blast to fly over to Monument Valley and get down low weaving between the tall buttes, then continue north over Canyonlands and Dead Horse Point to Moab and Arches, then back to Durango along the LaPlata’s. The scenery is just mind blowing. I love exploring this part of the USA. 👍🇺🇸
Greetings! In 1986, I decided to do a solo trip thru all of the 5 Parks in Utah. To say it felt like another world is an understatement: it was more like several different worlds, all equally amazing in different ways! My favorites? Bryce Canyon, Zion, Canyonlands, Arches and Capitol Reef, in that order! Throw in Cedar Breaks National Monument, and Canyon De Chelly NM as a side trip on the way back to Flagstaff, and I don't think I've ever had a more awe-inspiring glimpse of Mother Natures' handiwork!!! (Except, of course, for The Grand Canyon, but that's a one-off!). Hope you have an incredible trip and see as much as possible! You inspire us all!!!!!
Yeah, Cedar Breaks and Canyon de Chelly are nice drop off points, well worth the time.
I must say this is one of your greatest accomplishments so far. Thomas Kinkade is called the painter of light- you are undoubtedly the *photographer* of light. Combined with the superb music, I got the mist in my eyes, the pressure in my chest, and the lump in my throat again. What a beautiful way to start the week!
Thank you so much 😀
Great video! I was at Moab and Dead Horse Point years ago and it is just marvelous! Nature is so cool! I love the sound of the flowing water too. Water is life! Thanks again for the great scenery. I can't get enough of it. I went hiking yesterday here in Florida and I was hiking along the North Fork of the St. Lucie River under the shade of the trees enjoying the first day of spring!
You don't just take pictures/video of various places. You capture the essence and beauty of every place you film. Beautiful videos!
God Bless “You” for bring these amazing sights and sounds to us. This video may be your very best or at least near the top. The colors and contrast were spellbinding. The peace and tranquillity traverses the camera lens. Your shots were perfectly frame. With vision failing, oh what a sight to see. Thank you.
Thank you so much!
Superb..If I had that campsite..I would stay for days. Lovely 😍 Thank you 😊
Today being my birthday I'll accept this video as my present. Thanks very much for sharing. Beautiful as usual.
Happy Birthday Charles!
You work with a camera is just the best, breathtaking
If those rock walls could talk...
Thanks Catherine, I had to watch this one on the big screen.
Moab is such a fun and beautiful place to be! Lots of adventure there. I rafted the Colorado from Moab 2017. Gorgeous! I enjoyed Canyonlands, Arches, etc. And you’re pretty close to Mesa Verde, if you enjoy indigenous history and landscape beauty; worth the short ride. Best wishes on your adventures, Catherine! Safe travels! 🙋🏻♀️
Yup, Mesa Verde is OUT there, as well. lovely drive out there!
You have a fantastic eye for the most beautiful views everywhere you go. Thanks for taking us along
Not only does the scenery give me goose bump but also the music !!!! Thanks again as always !!! God Bless !!!
What a magnificent part of the country is Southern Utah, especially Moab. Back in 2013 I took my Toronto friend who was visiting me in Calgary and we drove for 22 hrs. We departed Calgary at 4 am arriving to our Moab Airb&b at 2:30 am to tour all the national and state parks in Southern Utah. I am sure if we had driven straight through we could have made it there in half the time but as photographers we took our time and we would stop wherever we pleased ... as you say, it's all part of the adventure and this one certainly was. Your adventure brought back many wonderful memories. Wishing you safe travels.
Thanks for this video. You have done a fine job of capturing the staggering beauty of the lands around Moab. The music is lovely.
Again, thank you for this video.
😎💙💛💙💛💙💛
That was absolutely beautiful. I'm trying not to binge watch all your videos. Its nice to have them to look forward to but you make it difficult. Really, really nice job!
Got very very awesome pictures I look forward to visiting that when I get my equipment done and ready to travel Have a super great day thank you for sharing
Thanks so much Rene.
Great cinematography and music score. For a few minutes I was back off of UT 128 enjoying the presence of those canyon walls. I usually spend a week in the spring in Moab. There is a magic about the La Sals and that red rock that is in my blood. ¡Gracias amiga!
The music, the scenery, is just as beautiful as my California dream.
Great job. My blood pressure is high, and your video are becoming my special place to chill and calm my self.
Thank you
The view from Dead Horse Point is just spectacular. I was lucky enough to work in the visitors center there back in 1974. I was just 19 years old. What an incredible summer job that was.
Greeting's Catherine .. I have you with my coffee every morning ... I call it stress free traveling in nature. Thank you so much love ! Your a very brave young woman and a shero ... of mine.
...Quiet....no modern "noise".... only natural sounds.... Beautiful surroundings.... You find the most amazing places!!!! :)
🙏❤️🙏
I live in SC but Two years ago camped in Utah for a month. What a contrast from what I am used to. Saw the mighty five and much more. Nice video.
I was born there several decades ago. As my father used to say, those rocks talk to me.
13:45: " ... today we're gonna' take a little drive - I'm not exactly sure where yet - but I'm gonna' take you with me ...."
Indescribable breath taking beauty. The best RX for anything that may ail you. Your video's Catherine bring rest for the body and soul. Many thanks .
What more could you ask for. Beautiful scenery and wildlife, nice hiking, and bacon and eggs. I'm there. Did you say steak and a nap?! I think I'm dreaming this.
Yes and yes 😂😂😂
Hello Cat, 😊 what a awesome scenery you shows us in that video 🏜 and tasty meals 🤤 Moab/ Utah is on our ‚to do list‘ in life. 👌🙏🍀thanks a lot, take care on the road 🌷
Hope you make it to Moab. Thank you Hartmut!
The background mountains are just gorgeous and majestic. When I saw them in front of me when I visited America, I was amazed it’s beauty.
I came across Moab a few years ago while wandering across the internet; it's something about the name itself that makes me want to visit; now that I see this, the desire to visit has increased even more. I've added Moab to my notes.
Beautiful video Catherine!!!!!
Good morning Catherine! First of all, thank you for taking me along with you! Secondly, you have inspired me to take the trip to Moab. I have always just passed through Utah on my way to somewhere else (no disrespect to Utah). Seems like I have missed much. Once again, you've captured my heart with your videos. I so look forward to much more of your travels. I am partially disabled (challenged), but I will get to Moab anyway. Thanks for the inspiration! Love you, be safe. As always, you are in my prayers.
Magnificient scenery! Stay safe!!!
Outstanding as always!
WOW! These views... doesn’t get any better than that, does it. And, a totally scrumptious steak dinner! If this is camp food, I’m in ! 😄👍 thank you for showing us another amazing adventure. Enjoy.
Thank you for taking us along.
♥️! This belongs in a “Best of ...” category! I hope you had a wonderful St. Patrick’s day! Thanks again for what you provide us!
Thank you so much!
I would like to say that your photography and videos are breathtaking and totally enhanced by the music you choose. The sound of the running water and the colors and how you catch the sunlight, sunrises and sunsets are perfect. I enjoy walking with you on your hikes and make me hungry with the meals you prepare. I have the same desire to travel and see this beautiful country and I hope to start soon. I though will be riding a motorcycle and splitting my time between motocamping and motels. I look forward to your next video so stay safe and continue to love life.
That was great Catherine! Thank you!
I looove that area. One of the best vacations we've had was in the Moab area 2 years ago. We bought a booklet in the bookstore that gave driving directions and information about many ancient petroglyphs and petrographs in the area. That was really a highlight. I recommend that to future travelers. Online resources abound on this. Stunning images, as usual, Catherine. Thank you!
Thanks for having us along.
Beautiful as always! Thank you for sharing Catherine!
Love Moab! We spent three weeks exploring there several years ago and can’t wait to go back. We tent camped on BLM land along the Colorado river for two of those weeks. Even though it was 110 degrees out, the River water was FREEZING COLD! The only dislike I had was every afternoon the wind came through the canyon and blew our tent over. It ROARED like a freight train! We got used to sitting in our vehicle while it blew. Then cleaning up the sand all through the tent, sleeping bags and clothes.
Like always, beautiful pictures, wonderful music and expertly done . My husband and I were there about four years ago and it took my breath away so many beautiful places that God has created on this earth, would love to go back and do some hiking. Thank you for taking me along with you ,loved it.
Beautiful , relaxing , the best angles and lighting...
That is a mind blowing view! Great work!
Great videography and composition, nothing sweeter than morning sun to highlight the texture of the rocks. Well done Catherine.
Good work on this one, Catherine! Love Moab!
Beautiful! Thank you for sharing!
Oh take me out of my apartment that I've been stuck in for a year ! This is on my bucket list high on the list & hopefully things go better this year. Excellent videography.

Once again bravo Catherine😊Cheers
I've been everywhere with UA-cam ! 🇫🇮🇺🇸🤯
I totally agree. What a great platform and learning/teaching tool.
Good to see you back, and tour videos are getting better all the time, girl. I still have 21 days to go, but am looking forward to seeing with my own eyes all those beautifully sculptured landscapes you've been showing me for the past year. Moab is on my list of places to visit and to shoot. After 50 yrs. I wonder how much it has changed. Never stop exploring your world.
Absolutely stunning!
Great cinematography. I just love your videos!
