The Bible says that Babylon was a city where everyone spoke different languages, so the information would never go correctly from one person to another. That's why she uses the city to talk about gossip. She also mentions the Tower of Babel, which was constructed as a way of trying to get to heaven and because of that God made everyone speak different languages, so they couldn't proceed with it

maybe the Madonna song you thought is Vogue.
This song sounds like a plethora of 80s/90s madonna songs on purpose and addresses the media scrutiny and gossip surrounding Gaga and her artistry , ie her comparison to madonna especially, that is why she even says "rip that song" which referees to when she released born this way and the media and people were very keen on ending her career because they thought the song sounds like express yourself by madonna which it doesnt. SO this is Gaga's way of coping with all of that with a wink and a fun bop.

The fact that lady gaga moved fast from her new album CHROMATICA to do a new movie traumatized me. That album had huge potential.

I think it was on purpose on their behalf to avoid copyright because the song does not sound like that.
I love how in all your videos the girl is always spot on catching the meaning and references and the male needs her to get it. Lol!! And, yes, it sounds similar to Madonna’s “vogue”, but it’s done in her own unique way. Voguing was a style of dance that came out of gay clubs in the 80s.

Babylon is the last track of Chromatica. I suggest to follow the chronological order of the album bc there's transition on some tracks esp. the interludes. and also that album is meant to be listened from Track one to the last.
Babylon is encore of chromatica and also the culmination of lady gaga. It is the end of chromatica but also the beginning of of the "new gaga". Chromatica is the album that healed/helped her.

i EXTREMELY recommend listening to the band Palaye Royale they are super underrated but they have some of the best rock/indie rock music ive ever heard. Their a band of 3 actual brothers and their music is usually very story based and heartfelt , I recommend starting with the songs "Loney" "Anxiety" "Mr. Dr. Man" And "Dying In A Hot Tub". The song Lonely is based off of the bands singers experience with suicidal thoughts after getting abused by their father and their father leaving them when he was younger!

Great reaction guys!! I was kinda hoping that you react to Alec Benjamin, he has two albums, 'Narrated For You' and 'These Two Windows'. Both are masterpiece, vocally, sonically, and lyrically. He's a great storyteller and songwriting. Just like Taylor, some of his songs are about other people's lives, just from his perspective on how he can relate to it.
