I can tell you as a Villa fan that Duran's attitude has had a remarkable turnaround. He has been training well, and has been improving his game under Emery. And as importantly he has settled in well now with the players. On a future note, we have basically resigned ourselves to the fact that he will be a one season wonder for us. He is a rare player, theres just something explosive about him where he can score at any time. An incredibly exciting player, unpredictable and skillful. He's a real throwback, all he wants to do is play and score goals...
I think the point is they don't want to sell him at all (they see him as the long term heir to Watkins) and so will only do so if a crazy offer is put on the table

He was sent off because schar feigned an injury to a different part of his body and the ref made a snap judgement on that and ignored VAR. What JD did do was still probably a red because he raked studs on schars back.
